Abstract

The research aims to (1) Know the feasibility of mobile learning media and (2) Know the effectiveness of the use of mobile learning media developed to improve learning outcomes for students of class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Jeruklegi in 2020/2021. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) or Research and Development. The software used in the evaluation development of m-learning games is Quizizz. The subject consists of material experts, media experts, educators, student assessments, interviews, observations, documentation, and tests.The results of this study are (1) Development of M-learning Learning Geography based Quizizz is declared feasible to be used in class X IPS learning at SMA Negeri 1 Jeruklegi based on the assessment results from material experts, media experts, teachers and learners respectively – each with a mode score of 4 and 5 that fall into the category of good and excellent in the Likert Scale that has qualified from the minimum limit of m-learning eligibility with a mode score of 3 that fall into the category sufficiently in the Likert Scale as determined by the researchers. (2) Determination of the use of m-learning evaluation media of Games-based Geography learning using Quizizz application is proven to be able to increase the value of pre-test post-test by 26% in experimental class and 23% in control class.Keywords : Media Evaluation Mobile Learning, Quizizz Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out whether the ‘Everyone is a teacher here’ model using the Google Meet platform was effective in online learning toward the learning outcomes of Geography subjects in class X IPS with marine waters teaching materials at SMAN 1 Baturetno in the 2020/2021 academic year.This study was quasi-experimental research of the pretest-posttest type with quantitative research and was pseudo-experimental. The population was class X IPS SMAN 1 Baturetno academic year 2020/2021, and the samples were 72 students consisting of experimental and control classes. The data were collected through Google Form, provided to the students in both experimental and control classes. There were three stages of the research procedures: the measurement stage before the experiment, the implementation stage, and the measurement stage after the experiment.From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the ‘Everyone is a teacher here’ model using the Google Meet platform was more effective than the expository learning model in online learning toward the students of class X IPS’ learning outcomes in Geography subjects with marine waters teaching materials at SMAN 1 Baturetno academic year 2020/2021.Keywords : Everyone Is A Teacher Here, Geography Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Since the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has occurred, Indonesia has implemented distance learning. Higher education also conducts learning with a hybrid learning model. The hybrid learning model applied is of the full type, meaning that it is carried out fully online. Geography learning that is carried out online is still trying to equip students to increase spatial citizenship skills. This study seeks to find out how the challenges of implementing the hybrid learning model in geography learning in the geography education study program are FKIP UNS. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were second semester students, geography education study program FKIP UNS. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations and FGD. The result of this research is that geography learning, which is carried out using a hybrid learning model, can effectively achieve mastery of students spatial citizenship skills. The hybrid learning model that is applied must be combined with other platforms such as Zoom Meeting, Moodle, WhatsApp and Open Course Ware.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the level of community resilience to flooding in Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency in 2018; (2) community adaptation strategies to flood disasters in Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency in 2018; and (3) efforts to improve resilience and adaptation to flood disasters.The population in this study were all villages in Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency. The sample used was flood-affected communities in each village by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using survey methods. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire and interview. Data analysis uses scorring techniques.The results of the study are as follows. (1) Resilience of the Trucuk Subdistrict community against flooding has moderate resilience (52.86 - 62.38) and high resilience (65.89 - 75.13). the distribution of resilience is moderate namely there are 6 villages consisting of the village of Kandangan, Sumbang cucumber, Kanten, Pagerwesi, Padang, and Guyangan. For high resilience there are 6 villages consisting of Sumberjo, Mori, Tulungrejo, Trucuk, Sranak, and Banjarsari villages. (2) Adaptation strategies undertaken by the Trucuk District community in dealing with floods are physical and non-physical adaptations. The physical adaptation carried out by the community and the government is to improve physical conditions, such as elevating houses, repairing irrigation networks, building dams, and building embankments along rivers. Non-physical adaptation carried out by the community and the government is the existence of an early warning system in detecting the danger of flooding and community preparedness in dealing with floods, such as mutual cooperation and mutual assistance in all matters before and after the flood. (3) efforts to improve resilience and adaptation to flood disasters.
