Abstract

Fishotel is a Besuki specialty made from fish that has great potential as a local culinary product based on local wisdom. However, its existence faces challenges in the form of changing consumption patterns and competition with modern foods. This discussion aims to analyze consumer purchasing interest and the role of product innovation in increasing Fishotel's competitiveness. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review and product condition analysis. The results of the discussion indicate that Fishotel purchasing interest is influenced by the quality of raw materials, taste, price, packaging, and marketing strategy. Product innovations such as the addition of chili oil, variations in accompanying spices, and the use of vacuum packaging have been proven to increase the added value and appeal of the product without losing its traditional identity. With the right innovation and marketing strategies, Fishotel has the potential to develop into a superior regional product while supporting the preservation of traditional Besuki culinary.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector play a strategic role in driving the regional economy, particularly in creating jobs and meeting the community's consumption needs. One of the main challenges for culinary MSMEs is ensuring their businesses have market feasibility and appropriate marketing strategies to survive and thrive amidst competition. This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of Kedai Babeh MSMEs from a market and marketing perspective. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews with the owner and customers, direct observation of operational and marketing activities, and documentation. The results show that Kedai Babeh has quite large market potential with the main segmentation being students and workers around the business location. However, the marketing strategy implemented is still conventional and has not been systematically planned. Therefore, strengthening marketing strategies through the use of digital media, product differentiation, and strengthening brand identity is needed to assess the business's viability and sustainability.

Abstract

Banking institutions play a central role in supporting economic stability and growth, particularly by acting as intermediaries between surplus fund holders and those in need of funds. Firm value in the banking sector serves as a key indicator for investors to assess the company’s prospects and financial health. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and capital structure on firm value, with earnings quality as an intervening variable, in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a population of 47 banking companies, of which 10 companies met the specified criteria. Data were analyzed using Path Analysis with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of direct influence hypothesis testing show that profitability and capital structure have a statistically significant positive influence on earnings quality. However, liquidity has an insignificant negative effect on earnings quality. On the other hand, profitability and capital structure do not have a significant influence on company value. In fact, earnings quality has a significant negative influence on company value. Furthermore, earnings quality shows a negative but significant influence on company value. In addition, in testing the indirect influence hypothesis, it shows that Profitability, Liquidity and Capital Structure do not significantly influence company value through earnings quality as an intervening variable.

Abstract

The fashion industry has undergone significant transformation due to rapid advancements in digital technology, particularly with the expansion of e-commerce platforms. Fashion consumption is no longer limited to fulfilling basic clothing needs, but has evolved into a medium for expressing identity, lifestyle, and social values. This study aims to examine and compare the influence of fashion on consumer purchasing decisions in e-commerce and traditional retail stores. This study adopts a descriptive-comparative approach to analyze differences in consumer behavior across online and offline shopping channels. Several factors, including fashion trends, product quality, pricing strategies, promotional activities, accessibility, and shopping experience, are evaluated to determine their impact on purchasing decisions. The results reveal that e-commerce plays a dominant role in influencing consumer decisions through convenience, extensive product variety, price transparency, and digital marketing practices. Conversely, traditional retail stores remain influential due to direct product interaction, personalized services, and higher consumer confidence in product quality. The findings indicate that both distribution channels possess unique strengths in shaping purchasing decisions. Therefore, fashion businesses are encouraged to implement integrated marketing strategies that combine digital capabilities with the experiential advantages of traditional retail in order to sustain competitiveness in the dynamic fashion market
