Abstract

This article describes learning Arabic using online applications in secondary and tertiary schools in the Aceh region. It analyzes the benefits and obstacles faced by teachers and students. This research uses the qualitative-analytical approach using Creswell's analysis theory, including data preparation and processing, building a general sense of information, and coding and interpreting the data. This research shows that learning the Arabic language through online applications is an activity that provides information, especially Arabic language studies, through the Internet, such as via WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Zoom, Kahoot, and Quizizz applications. Using these applications makes them more knowledgeable in developing their technology capabilities. Technology can accustom students to independent learning and not rely on the teacher's explanation alone, creating the habit of reading and analyzing educational materials. One of the obstacles to learning through electronic media is the lack of access to the Internet in rural areas of Aceh. There are no computers or laptops for students, and there are materials that are difficult to understand.

Abstract

This research Aims to determine the application of the Word square media to improve students' ability in writing skills as well as to determine students' responses to the application of the "Word Square" media in learning writing skills, besides that it also aims to determine the influence of the application of the "Word Square" media in increasing students' ability in writing skills at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Aceh Barat. This research is experimental research with the type One Group Pre test- Post test Design. The research instruments used in this research were interviews, questionnaires and tests. The research results showed that the response of MTSN 3 West Aceh students to Word Square media was very good. This is shown by the T Test results being greater than the T table value This indicates that applying the “Word Square” method to improve students’ ability to write skills in the Government Islamic Secondary School 3, Western Aceh, is effective, and this indicates that the test result T is greater than the result of the table, which means (2.09<25‚51>2.86) Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

The article describes about role of multimedia in teaching Arabic in terms of principles of choosing medias, selection the proper media as well as the prominent strategic that can be used in developing the multimedia itself. Currently, it is shown that learning the second languages such as Arabic is classified as hard effort. There are so many methods that have been selected by teachers in designing attractive learning in order to stimulate the students’ interest in class. Therefore, multimedia as a tool not only can deliver the proper message to learner but also it ensures to achieve the learning goals in purposes. Difference of learning styles, intelligence, disability, distance, time and so on, can be solved by using the correct multimedia.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konsep moderasi beragama dalam membina kekuatan moralitas bangsa. Bangsa Indonesia adalah masyarakat beragam budaya dengan sifat kemajemukannya. Keberagaman di Indonesia mencakup perbedaan agama, etnis, suku, budaya dan sebagainya. Dalam interaksi masyarakat yang multikultural ini, sering terjadi konflik dalam berkomunikasi, perbedaaan pendapat, sehingga terjadinya pergeseran nilai nilai moral yang dapat mengancam persatuan dan kesatuan. Konsep dasar moderasi beragama adalah keterbukaan menerima keberagaman (inklusivisme) serta tidak saling mempertentangkan namun mencari penyelesaian dengan toleran. Apalagi di era disrupsi teknologi saat ini, dengan banyaknya informasi yang tersaji di media sosial baik sifatnya benar maupun salah. Masyarakat menjadi terbiasa menemukan kebenaran tunggal, tanpa penjelasan dan pengayaan. Hal ini bisa memicu konflik antar kelompok disebabkan beragam pendapat yang berbeda. Dalam kehidupan multikultural, diperlukan sikap menghargai perbedaan, kemajemukan dan kemauan berinteraksi dengan siapapun secara adil dan seimbang. Sejatinya perbedaan bukan sumber konflik tetapi sebagai bagian kekayaan modal budaya yang seharusnya dapat dikelola sebagai potensi bagi pengembangan kekuatan moralitas bangsa yang berbudaya

Abstract

إن من مشكلات الطلبة في دراسة اللغة العربية خاصة القراءة أنهم لم يستطيعوا قراءة الكلمات والجمل قراءة فصيحة وصحيحة. فلابد هناك من الطريقة المناسبة لترقية قدرتهم على مهارة القراءة. فحاول هذا البحث تطبيق طريقة القراءة الجهرية لأهميتها في معالجة مشكلات الطلبة في القراءة. أما أغراض هذا البحث فهي معرفة كيفية التطبيق لطريقة القراءة الجهرية ومعرفة أثر طريقة القراءة الجهرية في قدرة الطلبة على مهارة القراءة بالمدرسة العالية الإسلامية الحكومية 1 أتشيه الغربية. ونُهِج في هذا البحث مدخل كمّي باستخدام طريقة البحث التجريبي مع تصميم المجموعة الواحدة التي أُجرِي عليها الاختبار القبلي والبعدي. واستُخدمت فيه الأدوات لجمع البيانات منها الملاحظة والاختبار والاستبيان. ومن نتائج هذا البحث أن تطبيق طريقة القراءة الجهرية في الدراسة اللغة العربية من ثلاث مراحل، مرحلة المقدمة، مرحلة الأنشطة الأساسية، ومرحلة الأنشطة الختامية. وكان تطبيق طريقة القراءة الجهرية فعالًا لترقية قدرة الطلبة على مهارة القراءة حيث وُجِدت من خلالها نتيجة 1% < to > 5% وهي 2,431 < 14,73 > 1,687 وبذلك نتيجة ت-الحساب (to) أكبر من نتيجة ت-الجدول (tt).

Abstract

This research examines the growing interest in language attitudes over recent decades. Focusing on Kluet Raya region, this study explores the regional languages used across various sub-districts and the attitudes of residents toward them. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the geographic distribution and attitudes of local community in the Kluet Raya region toward their heritage languages. The researchers also use linguistic maps to reconstruct areas where Acehnese, Aneuk Jamee, and Kluet languages are spoken within the sub-districts in Aceh Selatan district. This study adopts a qualitative approach in an attempt to gain a comprehensive understanding of community attitudes on language diversity in the region. Twelve participants, selected through purposeful sampling to represent diverse backgrounds, participated in in-depth interviews. Findings reveal a strong positive attitude toward heritage languages, with local languages viewed as equally prestigious across the region. There is also a clear preference for bilingual education that includes both Indonesian and local languages for children in Kluet Raya.

Abstract

مستخلص البحث : تهدف هذه الدراسة لوصف عملية تعلم اللغة العربية ببرنامج زوم في الجامعة الإسلامية تنجكوا ديرندنج مولابوه بأتشية غربية و تحليل مزايا و عيوبها. استخدمت الباحثة المدخل الكيفي و المنهج الوصفي في وجود البيانات. ثم حللت الباحثة عن البيانات بنظرية التحليلية مايليس وهيبرمان منها تكثيف البيانات و عرضها و إستنتاجها. أما نتائج البحث فهي أن تعلم اللغة العربية ببرنامج زوم هو نقل العلوم من مراكز تجمعه إلى أماكن بعيدة، و يتم الاتصال بين المعلم و المتعلم تفاعليا، يستطيع المعلم أن يلقي المحاضرات و الدروس ولو كان مكان التعلم بعيد من مصدر مكان المعلم. أما مزايا هذا البرنامج منها يشعر المعلم سهولة في شرح المادة من خلال عرض شاشة المشاركة حتى يكون التفاعل بينهم بشكل مباشر، و يجيد زيادة حماسة التعلم في نفس المتعلمين و يزيد الخبرة للمتعلم في أنشطة التعلم جديدة. الكلمة المفتاحية : تعلم اللغة العربية، برنامج زوم Abstract: This study aims to describe the process of learning the Arabic language using zoom meeting application at the Islamic University of Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh in West Aceh, and to analyze its advantages and disadvantages. The researcher used the qualitative approach and the descriptive approach in the presence of the data. Then the researcher analyzed the data with the analytical theory of Miles and Huberman, including data condensation, presentation and conclusion. As for the results of the research, learning Arabic language using Zoom meeting application is able to transfer knowledge from regular places to distant places, and communication is made between teacher and learners interactively, the teacher can deliver lectures and lessons even the place of learning is far away from the teacher’s place. As for the advantages of this program, the teacher feels easy to explain the material by displaying the participation screen so that the interaction between them is established, and it is good to increase the enthusiasm for learning in the same learners and increase the experience of the learner in new learning activities. Keyword : learning the Arabic language, Zoom Meeting Application Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting di Universitas Islam Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh Aceh Barat, serta menganalisis kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif dengan adanya data. Kemudian peneliti menganalisis data dengan teori analisis Miles dan Huberman, meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun dari hasil penelitian, pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan aplikasi Zoom meeting mampu mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan dari tempat biasa ke tempat yang jauh, dan komunikasi terjalin antara guru dan peserta didik secara interaktif, guru dapat menyampaikan ceramah dan pembelajaran meskipun tempat belajarnya berada. jauh dari tempat guru. Adapun kelebihan dari program ini adalah guru merasa mudah dalam menjelaskan materi dengan menampilkan layar partisipasi sehingga terjalin interaksi diantara mereka, serta baik untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar pada peserta didik yang sama dan menambah pengalaman peserta didik. pembelajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran baru. Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka to improve students' foreign language proficiency and examines the challenges faced by language teachers in its application within Acehnese schools. The selected schools represent diverse geographical contexts, including urban, suburban, and boarding schools, allowing for a comparative analysis of implementation strategies. In-depth, semi-structured interviews with ten foreign language teachers (English and Arabic), school principals, and staff provided qualitative data, supplemented by field notes, class discussion transcriptions, and textbook reviews. Findings show disparities in curriculum implementation by school type and location, with challenges including limited resources, insufficient training, and complexity, especially in under-resourced schools. However, the curriculum's student-centered, goal-oriented approach is seen as transformative for language classrooms. This study contributes to the literature on curriculum implementation and language education as well as providing insights for educational policymakers. It also provides practical recommendations for improving the integration of the Kurikulum Merdeka in Acehnese schools and ensuring its successful adoption in language education.
