Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out and discuss the development of contemporary Islamic educational institutions. This study uses the literature review method by gathering information from literary sources, such as books, articles, research reports, and other sources that are relevant to the topics discussed. Islamic educational institutions which at first took place in a simple manner with simple management as well. However, along with the times and the development of the world of education, Islamic educational institutions are also developing. The development of Islamic educational institutions is a necessity and must occur. The results of this study are that there are five periods in the development of Islamic educational institutions, namely: the coaching period, the golden period, the decline period, the stagnation period and the modern period. It is this modern period Islamic educational institution that has developed to date, which is called a contemporary Islamic educational institution. Contemporary Islamic educational institutions exist in the form of formal, non-formal and informal educational institutions. Contemporary Islamic educational institutions are managed with modern management, complete infrastructure, integrated curriculum, and can meet the expectations of society, especially formal contemporary Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Teachers have a very large contribution to the success of learning in schools. In addition, the teacher also plays a very important role in helping the development of students to achieve their life goals optimally. In the classroom the teacher carries out two main activities, namely teaching and learning activities and class management. Teaching activities are essentially the process of organizing and organizing the environment around students. Classroom management is a series of actions taken by the teacher in an effort to create positive, productive and innovative learning environment conditions so that the teaching and learning process can run according to its objectives. In other words, classroom management is an effort to empower class potential through a set of teacher skills to create a conducive, positive, and productive learning climate and control it if there is a disruption in learning to optimize the learning process so that satisfactory results can be obtained.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is the process of learning and teaching at MAN 2 Padang Panjang City on the subjects of Al-Qur'an Hadith still tends to use the lecture method. In the teaching and learning process, students often only listen and take notes on the material presented by the teacher, resulting in students being less active and involved in the teaching and learning process. To overcome this problem, the researcher developed a video media for learning Al-Qur'an Hadith on halal and good food materials in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects. The purpose of this research is to develop valid, practical and effective video-based learning media. The research method used in this study is the Research And Development (R&D) method using the 4D version approach, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The product test used in this study is the validity test, namely content, construct and language using the Aiken's V formula. The practicality test by the Al-Qur'an Hadith teacher using the Moment Kappa formula and the effectiveness test by students using the N-Gain formula. The results of the study indicate that the learning media of the Qur'an Hadith on halal and good food materials can be used by teachers and students of class XI IPA 2 at MAN 2 Padang Panjang City. For product validity test of 0.87 which is declared valid, product practicality test results of 0.95 which are declared very practical and for product effectiveness test results of 0.82 which are stated to be very effective. So it can be concluded that the learning media of the Qur'an Hadith on halal and good food materials as learning media is valid, practical and effective. Abstract

Learning to learn is defined as the difficulty of students in receiving or absorbing lessons at school. And the learning difficulties experienced by these students occur at the time of learning that is delivered or assigned by the teacher. So this writing is motivated by the problems found, including the lack of utilization of facilities to support PAI learning. This type of research is using qualitative descriptive research methods. To collect data, the writer did by observation, interview and documentation. After the data is collected, data processing and analysis is carried out. Furthermore, the technique of guaranteeing the validity is carried out by means of trigulation. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that there are factors that cause learning difficulties because many students do not study MDA/TPQ so that they have difficulty memorizing, and there are still many students who study PAI so they have difficulty learning by studying well, and there are still many parents who do not unite or do not see how the association is outside their home so that students who are in school do not focus on learning because many of their children's friends are not in school, the next factor that causes difficulties for children to learn PAI is because there are still many students who do not intend because there are still many students who disturbing their friends who are studying, and there are still many students who are too fond of playing cellphones, so they forget to study, and when they are studied by the PAI teacher they can't answer because they don't study, then they don't learn to play a role in helping children learn because many people old only up to elementary school and less understand PAI learning. Abstract

Organizing the funeral prayer is one of the fard kifayah laws imposed on every Muslim. Teenagers' understanding in organizing funeral prayers is expected to improve the social attitudes of teenagers in society and help teenagers remember death that can come at any time in accordance with Q.S Ali-Imran verse: 185. The problems found, the lack of knowledge of teenagers related to the implementation of funeral prayers. There are still many teenagers who are not aware of the importance of holding funeral prayers, there is a sense of lack of care and laziness to learn to know the virtues and magnitude of the rewards of holding funeral prayers. Therefore, the author is interested in examining how the understanding of teenagers in organizing funeral prayers in Jorong Kampuang Baru. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and is in the form of field research. The location of this research is in Jorong Kampuang Baru and the researchers took this location because here the researchers found problems that needed to be discussed and were important to research. The key informants are late teens and the supporting informants are parents and mosque imams. To collect data, the authors conducted observations, interviews and documentation. After the data is collected, data processing and analysis is carried out. Furthermore, testing the validity of the data by means of triangulation of data. There are still many teenagers who give statements that they do not understand the implementation of the funeral prayer properly. The level of desire and motivation of adolescents to understand the funeral prayer is very low. Teenagers are also less aware of the importance of understanding the implementation of funeral prayers in order to show devotion to people who have died. Parents and imams of the mosque also revealed that the understanding of youth in organizing funeral prayers was indeed very lacking. There are several factors that cause a lack of understanding of adolescents including the educational background of adolescents, lack of motivation and education from parents, lack of a sense of caring for adolescents, and lack of awareness of adolescents about the importance of holding funeral prayers.  Keywords: Understanding, Youth, Funeral Services

Abstract

Parents have an important role in forming good manners for a child or teenager to avoid bad things, as well as ninik mamak who are obliged to guide their nephews in accordance with Q.S At-Tahrim: 6. With the cooperation between parents and ninik mamak in fostering and shaping the behavior of these teenagers so that they have good manners and can be a provision for teenagers to take their lives in the future. The problems raised were the lack of youth manners, both when speaking and in acting in the community, there were some teenagers who dressed less politely, especially teenage girls, there were some teenagers who often said dirty words in the community, there were some teenagers who lacked respect. older people, and there are some teenagers who often rebel and fight against their parents. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and is in the form of field research. The location of this research is in the Kapau Jorong Koto Gadang Hamlet and the researchers took this location because here the researchers found problems that needed to be discussed and were important to research. With key informants, namely parents and supporting informants, namely ninik mamak and teenagers. To collect data, the authors conducted observations, interviews and documentation. After the data is collected, data processing and analysis is carried out. Furthermore, testing the validity of the data by means of data triangulation. Based on the results of the research obtained, that in general there has been cooperation between parents and ninik mamak through various forms of cooperation such as group meetings or community development, through visits to ninik homes. Mamak or vice versa, via telephone, through mutual cooperation activities, through farmer group activities, through yasinan group activities, and through pasambahan training activities. Abstract

In the implementation of Islamic religious education learning based on the adat-based syarak, there are still some shortcomings in carrying out Islamic religious education learning, judging from the opening, core, and closing activities in classroom learning, there is still a learning process in the classroom that does not run properly. Some of the teachers also have not implemented the adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi Kitabullah in Islamic religious education subjects for class X concerning self-control (mujahadah annafs), good prejudice (husnuzzan), and brotherhood (ukhuwah) and promiscuity and adultery are prohibited by religion. , the teacher's core activities only explain learning, in the core activities of learning Islamic religious education teachers carry out learning in general. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The location of this research is in SMK Negeri 1 Palembayan, Kec. Palembang, Kab. Religion and researchers took this location because here the researchers found problems that needed to be discussed and important to be studied. With key informants, namely teachers of Islamic religious education and supporting informants, namely students and principals of SMK N 1 Palembayan. To collect data, the authors conducted observations, interviews, and documentation. After the data is collected, data processing and analysis is carried out. Furthermore, testing the validity of the data by means of triangulation of data. Based on the results of the research conducted, in learning Islamic religious education based on the Basandi Syrak custom, the Kitabullah Basandi Syarak has been going well, before doing other activities the teacher opens the lesson by reading greetings and giving a proverb to provide motivation to learn to students, then the teacher conducts opening activities. other. Abstract

This research is a quantitative correlation research. This research is located at MTs Muhammadiyah Kajai. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, amounting to 72 people. This study draws samples by random sampling as many as 36 students. Class VIII A 24 people, VIII B 24 people and VIII C 24 people. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. Based on research using product moment correlation testing, it is obtained that r count is 0.637 which is greater than r table, both at the level of 5% and 2%. So that the hypothesis is accepted, because r count 0.637 > r table 0.329, so there is a positive impact between muhadharah activities on student learning outcomes in the subjects of aqidah morality. That the calculated r value is 0.637 and is included in the strong category in the range 0.600-0.799 with a value of 40.57%. Thus, there is a strong relationship between muhadharah activities and student learning outcomes in the moral aqidah subjects at MTs Muhammadiyah Kajai. Abstract

The background of this research is that students tend to find their own fun such as telling stories with friends, doodling on books and also during the process and constantly asking for garden play. The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out the teacher's technique in instilling values ​​through the storytelling method. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The key informants are Al-Abrard Islamic Kindergarten teachers and the supporting informants are students and parents. The data collection methods are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used to examine all data, data reduction and data display. The results of the study revealed that the way teachers instill moral values ​​include learning to pray, getting children to say greetings, getting children to help and working together, getting children to always maintain cleanliness, getting children to speak politely, getting children to respect and appreciate each other. , train children to use their right hand when giving and receive something, prepare children not to leave class without permission, get children to say thank you. The teacher's methods in applying techniques include reading directly from story books, using illustrated pictures from books, telling fairy tales, using flannel boards, using puppet media, dramatizing a story. Abstract

The problem in this research is motivated by the results of the author's initial observations at SMP N 3 Bukittinggi, where the lack of enthusiasm of students in learning Islamic Religious Education, the methods used by teachers are still conventional, do not attract the attention of students and lack of interaction between teachers and students so that students students become less active, less focused, sleepy and lazy. The aim of this research was to determine the significant effect of the snowball throwing method on student learning activity. This type of research is an experiment with class VII.2 as an experiment that is treated using the snowball throwing method and VII.3 as a control class that is not given treatment. This research is a type of experimental research, with a static group comparison design. To obtain data using a questionnaire instrument. the data analysis technique uses the instrument test first, namely; validity test, reliability test. To test the prerequisites using normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing is carried out, namely the t test to find out whether the hypothesis is rejected or accepted. Before testing the hypothesis, the instrument was tested first to find out valid and reliable data. After testing the instrument, then testing the hypothesis with the T-Test test to find out if the hypothesis is rejected or accepted, so that it can be seen whether the snowball throwing method has an effect on student learning activity. The results of this study indicate that based on the calculation of the activeness questionnaire t-test, the sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 at a significance level of 5% so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it is proven that there is a significant influence of the snowball throwing learning method on student learning activeness in PAI learning at SMP N 3 Bukittinggi.
