Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to optimize the empowerment of the Tambakan Independent Marine and Fisheries Training Center (P2MKP) based on the blue economy to increase the economic independence of the Bugel Village community, Padarincang District, Serang Regency. This village has significant pond fisheries potential, but its utilization has not been maximized. The blue economy approach is focused on developing sustainable and efficient fisheries. The community service methods used include financial management skills training, counseling on blue economy practices, and the development of local resource-based businesses. The results of this community service are improving community skills in managing resources and the formation of an e-commerce-based marketing system, improving neat and documented business financial records through financial system records with the SIAPIK application, blue economy-based businesses, and the formation of independent business groups. In addition, there is a higher awareness of sustainable practices and positive impacts on the environment. Thus, the economic independence of the Bugel Village community can be realized sustainably. Increased sales turnover in September to November 2024, there was an increase in sales in October by 12%, then in November 18%. Based on the survey, it stated that there was an increase in understanding related to financial management by 67%, the average value before the activity was 52.7 while after the activity it became 88.1.

Abstract

IoT adoption and integration has increased over the past few years due to the increasing consumer demand for convenience, security, and energy savings, creating opportunities for us to interact with our surroundings by integrating physical devices through IoT. Fundamentally, the Internet Society cares about IoT because it is an evolving aspect of how people and institutions are likely to interact with the Internet in their personal, social, and economic lives. MIT App Inventor is an intuitive visual programming environment that allows anyone to build applications including IoT for Android/iOS phones or tablets. Although a number of block-based approaches are available to program some IoT hardware, it is still an area that has not been widely explored. In this study, we will discuss how to implement IoT Smart Home with a block-based programming approach using MIT App Inventor. The application development method uses the ADDIE method with stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The results of the research evaluation using the EUCS method with dimensions of Content, Accuracy Ease of Use, Format, Timeliness, the results obtained in the study average indexes of 79.80%, the hope for future research is how blocks based can inspire people to be creative with IoT so that beginners can build mobile applications integrated with IoT technology.

Abstract

Cyberbullying on social media is a serious problem that can have a negative impact on victims. The main causes of cyberbullying include anonymity in cyberspace, lack of empathy, and abuse of freedom of speech. This phenomenon has a serious impact on the mental and social health of victims, such as decreased self-confidence, anxiety disorders, depression, and in some extreme cases can even encourage victims to withdraw from social circles or commit self-harm. To overcome this, digital education is needed, which we conducted through Community Service activities at the Kedaung youth organization, Sawangan District, Depok City, West Java, at the Parigi Reading Park. The objectives of the Community Service Program (PKM) were to introduce cyberbullying, identify the causes of cyberbullying on social media, analyze the impact of cyberbullying on victims, and find solutions to overcome cyberbullying on social media. The results of the PKM activity fostered empathy and moral awareness among participants to be wiser and more responsible in communicating in the digital space. The participants' active involvement in discussions, simulation exercises, and digital campaigns demonstrated that this activity was not only informative but also transformational in changing participants' perspectives and behaviors regarding the issue of online bullying. The target outputs were activity videos, articles in print or online media, and scientific journal articles on community service.  Keywords: Socialization, Solutions, Cyberbullying; Social Media
