Abstract

This study analyzes the factors affecting Non-Performing Financing (NPF) in the sharia bank in Indonesia. The independent variable in this research uses microeconomic variables such as Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Productive Financing Ratio (PFR), and Earning Asset Quality (EAQ). The sample used in this research is all population of Sharia Commercial Bank in Indonesia. The data used in this study were obtained from the Sharia Banking Statistics Report issued by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan - OJK) with the observation period from 2015 to 2017. The results showed that simultaneously CAR, ROA, FDR, PFR, and EAQ significantly influence NPF. Partially only variable FDR and EAQ which have the positive and significant influence to NPF, while CAR, ROA, and PFR has no significant effect on NPF.

Abstract

This article analyzes the loss of carbon dioxide (CO2) released in the forest conversion to oil palm plantations. This research data gathered from the relevant secondary data and relate published reports. This research finds that a loss of release of carbon dioxide (CO2) per hectare of US $ 9,800 with a carbon price of USD2 of US $ 14,000 carbon price of USD3 and US $ 19,600 in carbon price of USD4. In addition, this conversion also has a significant impact on global warming (GWP) and global climate change. Keywords: oil palm plantation, CO2 release, GWP, climate change.

Abstract

The issues concerning deficit spending have been a major concern in macroeconomic policies. Each country has a different method to solve the problems, including by devising appropriate deficit spending policies. This study investigates the effect of deficit spending in Indonesia. The effect of deficit management is seen from the sources to finance budget deficit, the efforts that are made, and the ability to contribute to the economy. Another research objective is to identify the magnitude of the effect of deficit spending and its effect on the national economy. This study attempts to explain that the applied model is able to determine the factors that contribute to deficit spending in Indonesia. The findings of this study reveal that both in the short- and long-run, external debts have a positive and significant effect on deficit spending. On the contrary, the economic growth and inflation rate have no significant effect on deficit spending.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of Religiosity, Location and Social Affairs on Students' Interest in Choosing a Sharia Business Management Study Program (Study of Undergraduate Students in Sharia Business Management at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta). This research uses a population of students from Surakarta. The sample was selected using a non- probability sampling method, totaling 300 respondents by distributing questionnaires online using Google Form. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results research are that there is a positive influence on Location and Social Affairs on Interest in Choosing a Sharia Business Management Study Program (Study for Undergraduate Students in Sharia Business Management at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta) while Religiosity has no influence. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Store atmosphere, service quality and product quality on repurchase interest in Kopi Berarti in Solo Baru. The population in this study is the community in Sukoharjo Regency who are 20-50 years old. The sampling technique in this study uses non-probability sampling with the type of sampling used is pursposive sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. The variables used in this study consist of two types of variables, namely independent (X) and dependent variables (Y). The independent variables in this study are Store atmosphere, service quality and product quality. While the dependent variable used is Repurchase Interest. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression analysis method. Data processing uses the regretion. The results of the study showed that the variables of Store Atmosphere, Service Quality and Product Quality had a positive and significant effect on Repurchase Interest in Kopi Berarti in Solo Baru. the Adjusted R square value of 0.481 which means that Store Atmosphere, Service Quality, and Product Quality have an influence on repurchase interest of 48.1%. The remaining 51.9% was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of brand trust, brand satisfaction, and brand personality on brand loyalty for Vaseline hand & body lotion products among Generation Z in Boyolali. This research uses quantitative methods, with purposive sampling techniques. The sample in this study amounted to 152 respondents, namely Generation Z users of Vaseline hand & body lotion products in the Boyolali area and who have made purchases two or more. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. The questionnaire distribution was carried out online and offline. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program using multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that brand satisfaction and brand personality have a significant positive effect on brand loyalty. While brand trust has a negative and insignificant effect on brand loyalty. Of the three variables, there is one variable that has a negative and insignificant effect on brand loyalty, therefore it can be a concern for the Company to be able to increase brand trust to influence the brand loyalty of Vaseline hand & body lotion products.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the significant influence of the variables of facilities, accessibility and attractiveness on the decision to visit. Therefore, this research uses a quantitative approach. Using a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 157 respondents in Ponorogo Regency who had visited the Ngebel Lake tourist attraction twice. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The distribution of the questionnaire was carried out online via social media platforms such as WhatsApp which received 114 respondents and offline it was distributed by printing the questionnaire that had been made and then distributing it to 43 respondents. This research used multiple linear analysis, assisted by the IBM SPSS Statistics data analysis tool 23 to process data that has been taken by researchers. The results of this research suggest that the variables of facilities, accessibility and attractiveness have a significant and simultaneous influence on the decision to visit. So all the variables that have been studied show that they have an influence and are significant on the decision to visit the Telaga Ngebel Ponorogo tourist attraction.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to determine the influence of green awareness, brand image, and trust on purchasing decisions. The sample used in this research was 100 respondents from The Body Shop consumers in Surakarta City. The data collection method was a questionnaire distributed to The Body Shop Surakarta City consumers. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach where the researcher selects samples using certain and subjective criteria. Data analysis in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis by looking at the F statistical value and the T statistic. This research shows that the green awareness variable has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the brand image variable has a negative and insignificant influence on purchasing decisions, and the brand trust variable has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously or together, green awareness, brand image, and trust influence purchasing decisions. It is hoped that future researchers will use other variables or factors that can influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Palm oil development in Jambi cause problems of society. This study was to estimate the economic loss of indigenous cultural communities palm oil development area. Economic concepts need to take into account cultural values consisting of value to direct and indirect use values which become elements of the construction costs. Direct use value from the perspective of the user community was estimated using TCM. Indirect use value is estimated using techniques CVM. The results obtained by the loss of indigenous cultural values of Rp4.517,4 million - Rp17.107,4 million. Area of research offers benefits to tourists and potential to become an eco-tourism destination nationally advanced culture to international efforts if it were made innovative improvements. This cultural value estimated using the lowest number based on population in Jambi Province alone, and do not take into account the population of other provinces in Indonesia as well as the population in the world. Increased public awareness of the importance of cultural and environmental preservation, cultural and environmental value benefits can go beyond the boundaries of a country.
