Abstract

The Moncongloe District is an environment that is rich in potential with many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Business owners in this sector face challenges in managing business finances effectively. Limited financial knowledge is due to the fact that MSMEs do not have a financial background or formal education in this field. This makes it difficult for MSMEs to understand the terms and concepts used in financial reports. This community empowerment program aims to make a positive contribution to business development in Moncongloe District, particularly in recording business finances. The implementation method is through workshops, discussions, questions and answers, and evaluations to provide an understanding of the importance of financial reports for MSMEs. The results of the community empowerment program show that workshop participants experienced an in-depth increase in knowledge about the importance of financial reports which can improve business performance for MSME entrepreneurs and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) in Moncongloe District, Maros Regency. In addition, participants succeeded in understanding the tools for starting a business, namely the Business Model Canvas, and making simple financial records that can help community empowerment partners in developing more structured and innovative MSME businesses.

Abstract

This research explores the strategic imperative of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) integration within the Tiga Maharewa Group’s multi-unit business ecosystem, focusing on Umrah services. Qualitative inquiry and strategic analysis (IFAS/EFAS) revealed severe operational fragmentation (silos) and a critical lack of unified data, empirically positioning the firm in a strategic turnaround condition. To resolve this strategy-structure misalignment, the study developed a Conceptual Strategic Integration Model by synthesizing TOWS analysis and a revised Business Model Canvas. The proposed model is founded on Shared CRM Membership  and Collaborative Promotion, and crucially expands customer segmentation to formally incorporate Agents and External Merchants to facilitate Value Co-Creation. The study’s core contribution is a four-stage conceptual roadmap that recommends pragmatic implementation steps, from securing an executive mandate to system standardization. This model and roadmap provide a necessary strategic framework for the Tiga Maharewa Group to transform its siloed operations into a cohesive, data-driven ecosystem, ensuring enhanced efficiency, long-term competitive advantage, and alignment with the Islamic principle of Ta'awun (cooperation).

Abstract

Tourism in South Sulawesi holds significant potential, yet Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the sector frequently encounter challenges in expanding market reach and enhancing competitiveness. This study investigates the contributions of live streaming, viral marketing, and local community co-creation to the competitiveness of tourism MSMEs. This descriptive quantitative study involved 162 tourism MSME actors in South Sulawesi who actively utilize social media, have engaged in live streaming, leveraged viral moments for promotion, and collaborated with local communities. Data were collected via a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using PLS-SEM, processed with WarpPLS Version 8.0. The findings indicate that while live streaming does not directly enhance MSME competitiveness, it exerts a robust and positive influence on local community co-creation. Conversely, viral marketing demonstrably and significantly impacts both MSME competitiveness and local community co-creation. Most notably, local community co-creation directly and highly effectively boosts MSME competitiveness, also serving as a crucial mediator that transforms the effects of both live streaming and viral marketing into substantial gains in MSME competitiveness. These findings underscore the pivotal role of co-creation in converting the impact of digital marketing into a distinct competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study examines the role of transformational leadership communication in building digital culture within higher education institutions. As universities face increasing pressure to adapt to rapid technological advancements, digital transformation extends beyond the adoption of technology and requires a fundamental shift in organizational culture, values, and practices. This research adopts a qualitative approach using an exploratory multiple case study design to capture in-depth insights into leadership communication processes. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and observations involving academic leaders and faculty members engaged in institutional transformation initiatives. The findings reveal that visionary communication plays a crucial role in articulating a shared direction and aligning stakeholders, while dialogic communication fosters trust through open, participatory engagement. In addition, strategic communication helps manage resistance by addressing concerns, reframing change, and promoting acceptance. Communication also functions as a driver of organizational learning by enabling knowledge sharing, reflection, and continuous adaptation. The study highlights that effective leadership communication is not limited to information dissemination but involves meaning-making, relationship-building, and cultural integration. The integration of transformational and adaptive communication practices emerges as a key factor in sustaining digital transformation and embedding digital values into institutional practices. This research contributes to the literature by emphasizing the centrality of communication in leadership and digital culture development, particularly within the context of higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital financial services has transformed the way individuals manage their personal finances, particularly among productive-age populations who actively engage with financial technology. While digital financial inclusion continues to increase in Indonesia, disparities between financial access and financial literacy remain a significant challenge, potentially affecting individuals' financial well-being. This study aims to examine the influence of digital financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial socialization on the financial well-being of Indonesia's productive-age population. A quantitative research design was employed using a structured online questionnaire distributed to individuals aged within the productive workforce who had at least two years of work experience and had used digital financial services. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that digital financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial socialization each have a positive and significant effect on financial well-being. Individuals with stronger digital financial competencies, healthier financial behaviors, and greater exposure to financial socialization demonstrate higher levels of financial well-being. These findings highlight the importance of integrating financial education, behavioral development, and social influences to improve financial well-being in the digital era. The study contributes to the behavioral finance literature by providing empirical evidence from Indonesia's productive-age population and offers practical implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and financial education providers in designing programs that strengthen digital financial capability and sustainable financial well-being.
