Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out how to make technical guidelines for the mechanical aspects of scientific work to increase student literacy levels. There are two important aspects that must be considered, namely substantive aspects and mechanical aspects. The substantive aspect is related to the substance of the science being studied, while the mechanical aspect is the aspect that becomes the means of conveying the substantive aspect. This community service activity uses a focus group discussion (FGD) method or technique and is continued with socialization or training on how to write scientific papers based on technical guidelines for mechanical aspects which are elaborated into documents entitled Technical Guidelines for Mechanical Aspects of Writing Scientific Papers. The results of the dedication show that the writing mistakes that are often made by students in writing scientific papers are mechanical aspects which include spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors. In addition, there were also errors in the composition aspect caused by the lack of attention of students in reading the writing guide. With existing technical guidelines for scientific work, students are able to adjust their writing style according to thesis and journal writing standards so as to increase student literacy levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Streotipe dalam novel Galaksi karya Poppi Pertiwi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan streotipe dalam novel karya Poppi Pertiwi. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks novel Galaksi karya Poppi Pertiwi dengan jumlah halaman 492 halaman, yang diterbitkan oleh Coconut Book di terbitkan di Depok tahun 2018. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik studi dokumen. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam novel Galaksi karya Poppi Pertiwi terdapat bentuk-bentuk streotipe yaitu: 1) Fakta streotipe, 2) Mitos streotie, 3) Aspek Esensia Streotie, 4) Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Streotipe, 5) Dampak Streotie, 6) Konsep Streotipe, 7) Pemberian Streotipe.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the image of the main female character in the novel Woman Who Cried to the Black Moon by Dian Purnomo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are women's self-image in the form of character or the formation of women who are also responsible for their potential as individual beings; Physical image in the form of a physical image or a woman's body, which includes beauty, posture, and beauty, like the figure of a mage who has the physical characteristics of a woman who comes from Eastern Indonesia; a psychic image which states that women are psychological beings who think, feel, and aspire. Women were created by straight psychics who are carried away by feelings, also by magi who always feel sad when separated from their friends, social image of the role of women in the family and community environment. Within the family circle, women have roles as children, homemakers, and wives. Based on research conducted on the novel Woman Crying to the Black Moon by Dian Purnomo, it can be concluded that the image of women in it is self-image, physical image, psychological image, and social image.
