Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance, digital leadership, employee well-being, and work flexibility on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) at the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of Manggarai Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 120 Generation Z employees who were selected using purposive sampling techniques according to the research criteria. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through the SmartPLS application to test the validity, reliability, and direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study show that work-life balance, digital leadership, employee well-being, and work flexibility have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction has also been proven to have a positive influence on improving employee performance. In the mediation effect test, job satisfaction was only able to mediate the relationship between employee well-being and employee performance, while the relationship between work-life balance, digital leadership, and work flexibility on employee performance was not significantly mediated by job satisfaction. The findings of this study indicate that improving employee welfare, implementing adaptive leadership to digital developments, providing work flexibility, and creating a balance between personal and work life are important factors in increasing job satisfaction and performance of Generation Z employees in the Free Nutritious Meal Program. The results of the research are expected to be a reference for SPPG managers in designing more effective human resource management policies and oriented towards increasing organizational productivity.

Abstract

The digital transformation of healthcare services has shifted the determinants of patient loyalty from solely clinical outcomes to relational dimensions and digital communication. Despite the growing use of social media in healthcare, studies that simultaneously integrate social media communication and service quality on patient loyalty, mediated by trust, particularly in eye healthcare services, are still limited. To analyze the direct and indirect effects of social media communication and service quality on patient loyalty through the mediation of patient trust in eye healthcare services in Surabaya. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted with 100 randomly selected eye clinic patients. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. Measurement and structural model evaluations were conducted, along with mediation testing using bootstrapping. Social media communication and service quality significantly influenced patient trust. The direct effect on patient loyalty was also significant for social media communication, service quality , and patient trust. Patient trust partially mediated the relationship between social media communication and loyalty (indirect effect) and the relationship between service quality and loyalty (indirect effect). The model explained 52.1% of the variance in patient trust and 61.2% of the variance in patient loyalty, with satisfactory predictive relevance. Social media communication serves not only as an informational tool but also as a relational channel for building trust in ophthalmology services. Service quality remains the primary foundation of trust and loyalty. Managers need to integrate digital communication strategies with service excellence, leveraging patient trust as a key mechanism for maintaining long-term loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to examine the empirical and theoretical evidence concerning the role of influencer marketing and Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) in shaping online decision-making, with Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) serving as a mediating variable among Indonesian e-commerce users aged 25–45 years. This research employs a systematic literature review approach using narrative synthesis. Five national and international indexed journal articles, along with one consumer behavior textbook, were selected and analyzed based on the relevance of the variables, population characteristics, and their applicability to the Indonesian context. The findings consistently demonstrate that influencer marketing and SMMA exert a significant positive influence on Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), which subsequently mediates the relationship between these marketing activities and online purchasing decisions. Furthermore, two of the reviewed studies involving respondents within age ranges overlapping the target group (18–40 years and 25–44 years) indicate that FOMO is prevalent among individuals in the productive age category. Additional theoretical support is provided by the consumer behavior literature, which highlights the importance of social influence and consumer motivation in shaping purchasing behavior. From a managerial perspective, marketing strategies that leverage influencers and social media platforms to stimulate FOMO can effectively encourage purchasing decisions among consumers in the productive age segment. Future studies are recommended to focus specifically on e-commerce users aged 25–45 years to provide more comprehensive empirical evidence regarding this relationship
