Abstract

The purpose of this service is to increase the independence of the Muhammadiyah Putri Aisyah Orphanage through the processing of nuggets of emotion. Through this activity, knowledge and skills are provided as provisions for entrepreneurship for foster children after leaving the orphanage. As well as providing knowledge and skills for managing orphanages as an alternative to be used as a productive economic business that can support the basic needs of orphanages. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of training carried out in groups. The series of training activities carried out consisted of meeting I, namely (a) Motivating partners, using the lecture and question and answer method and (b) Training on processing haruan nuggets using demonstration and practice methods. The second meeting consisted of (a) Partners practicing again processing Haruan nuggets, and (b) practicing packing processed nuggets. Meeting III, namely financial calculations, using lectures and questions and answers. Meeting IV consists of (a) marketing strategy, using discussion and question and answer methods and (b) Evaluation. Evaluation through interviews. The results of this dedication show that there is an increase in the independence of partners, namely partners who are skilled at processing and packaging Haruan nuggets, 75% partners master the calculation of the cost of goods and selling prices. 85% know and understand how to promote and sell Haruan nuggets.

Abstract

Agricultural waste is generally in the form of straw which after the harvest season is simply thrown away so that if this is done continuously it will be wasteful and will not produce any other benefits. However, agricultural waste can be processed into more useful things such as fertilizer and fuel (briquettes). In the community service outreach here, efforts are being made to provide knowledge and training regarding the processing of straw waste as natural fertilizer and alternative fuel in the form of briquettes so that it can provide more benefits to the community. The target audience is 30 PKK women from Indah Sari Village, Mekarsari District, Barito Kuala Regency. The results of this community service are an increase in understanding and knowledge of PKK women in Indah Sari Village regarding the benefits of straw waste, outreach and training activities can solve the problem of PKK women in Indah Sari Village regarding agricultural waste, PKK women in Indah Sari Village know how to process straw waste into fertilizer and briquettes.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact before and after the existence of a minimarket on grocery stores in Jalan HKSN Banjarmasin. This type of exploratory descriptive research with data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Quantitative analysis technique using crosstabulation with SPSS. The qualitative technique used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The number of samples in this study was 15 grocers. The results of the study show that traders who have an impact on the existence of minimarkets have experience of more than 10 years plus the uncertain changes in market prices are the cause of the difficulty in competing with minimarket companies that have large capital and for new traders or trading experience that does not last too long, minimarkets are not too much impact on their results.
