Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that is a leading cause of death worldwide, with a prevalence of 341,727 hypertensive patients in Klaten District. In Juwiring Subdistrict, there were 15,951 residents in 2023. Hypertension treatment can be conducted using non-pharmacological methods such as isometric handgrip and deep breathing relaxation. To determine the effect of isometric handgrip exercise and deep breathing relaxation therapy on Mean Arterial Pressure in hypertensive patients at the Juwiring Health Center, Klaten. A quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest approach was used. The study population consisted of 126 individuals, with a sample of 62 respondents divided into an intervention group and a control group, each comprising 31 respondents, selected using purposive sampling. The intervention was conducted over five days, with each session lasting approximately four minutes. The Mann-Whitney MAP test yielded a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in MAP reduction after the intervention. This study found that isometric handgrip and deep breathing relaxation therapy are effective in lowering MAP in hypertensive patients. The intervention can serve as an alternative in hypertension management and improve quality of life.

Objective: To find out the results of the implementation regarding the administration of Benson relaxation therapy to reduce fatigue levels in CAD patients. Methods: Using a case study design, respondents to 2 patients treated at RSUD dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Measuring tool for fatigue using the Maastricht Questionnaire (MQ). The level of fatigue before the benson therapy was carried out, the two respondents were different. Abstract

Background: The prevalence of fractures in Indonesia is quite high, namely the incidence of fractures in the lower extremities is 46.2%. The habit of patients with extremity fractures does not mobilize, causing a negative impact on muscle and joint strength, namely physical mobilization barriers and followed by muscle atrophy. One of the efforts to improve muscle and joint strength is to do Range Of Motion independently. Objective: To determine the application of active Range Of Motion to muscle and joint strength in post op patients with extremity fractures in the operating room of RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali. Method: This application is descriptive in the form of a case study conducted on 2 respondents using the standard operating procedure Range of Motion and the MMT (Manual Muscle Testing) observation sheet. Findings: Before and after the application of active Range Of Motion, recovery of muscle and joint strength was obtained in the two respondents, Mrs. R from the value of bad muscle and joint strength to good and Mrs. S of the value of muscle and joint strength is slightly worse. Implication There are differences in development before and after active Range Of Motion in fracture post op patients
