Abstract

The current development of smal and medium enterprise (MSMEs) is not accompanied by the application of information technology, which is increasingly developing rapidly. This is experienced by almost all laundry business actors in North Sulawesi. This study aims to develop the Yunit Laundry application which can support the operations of laundry entrepreneurs. On the other hand, it can help laundry service users in accessing laundry services or using laundry services. This study applies the Scrum framework as a guide in the system development process. Meanwhile, system modeling uses the Unified Modeling Language. The results of this research are a series of web site applications that will be used by laundry entrepreneur admins and Android-based mobile applications for laundry service users.

Abstract

Based on observations made by researchers at Informatics Engineering Universitas Negeri Manado, there is no Thesis Repository that functions to accommodate data on Thesis Titles of Informatics Engineering Study Program Students. Based on this, researchers plan to develop a web-based Thesis Repository System at Universitas Negeri Manado Informatics using the Agile Software Development method. After the web-based Thesis Repository System in Informatics Engineering Universitas Negeri Manado was successfully developed using the Agile Software Development method, testing carried out using the black box testing method obtained good results, where 12 test points were successfully achieved and the developed system could help the study program in recording thesis data from students.

Abstract

This study designed and implemented a web-based queuing system at the Pangolombian Health Center. The method applied is the waiting line method with the waterfall system development method. This system uses PHP and MySQL as the programming language and database. Key features include patient registration, scheduling, calling, and real-time queue status display. After implementation, functionality and performance testing is carried out. The results show that this web-based queuing system improves efficiency and patient experience. Patients can register and schedule queues online, reducing waiting times. Automatic queue calling makes it easier for puskesmas staff. Staff and schedule management features help manage queues more efficiently. This research produces an efficient and convenient web-based queuing system. This system has the potential to provide a better experience for patients by reducing waiting times and long queues. This system also assists puskesmas staff in managing queues efficiently. The results of this study can contribute to developing a web-based queuing system at puskesmas and other health institutions

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed people's life patterns by enabling easy access to information via smart devices such as smartphones. One of the pressing needs is easy access to information on nearby health services, especially in emergency situations or to get timely treatment. This research aims to develop an Android-based health service search application by utilizing the Haversine algorithm and Google Maps API. The Google Maps API was chosen because of its ability to provide accurate location data and various visualization features that help users navigate. The result of this research is a health service search application that utilizes the Haversine algorithm to calculate the distance between users and the nearest health facility to easily find health services that suit their needs based on the closest location. Application testing shows satisfactory results, with a high level of accuracy in determining the location of the nearest health facility. This application is expected to be an effective solution in making it easier for people to find the nearest health services quickly and efficiently via their smart devices.

Abstract

The attendance system used by the Education Department can be said to be still manual. Where they use the Timestamp application to take photos. Where the application only takes faces without detecting the face. Therefore, researchers created a face detection presence system by applying the Multi-Task Cascaded Convolutional Neural Network algorithm using the face-api.min.js library for the face detection process. The aim of this research is to make it easier for school supervisors to manage attendance, so they can provide accurate information. Then, based on the research results, a face detection and location detection system for school supervisors was successfully developed using the Multi-Task Cascaded Convolutional Neural Network (MTCNN) algorithm. From the results of tests carried out using a dataset of 140 images from 28 people with different photos taken (face view, top view, bottom view, left side view, right side view). Test results on the facial presence detection system using the MTCNN (Multi-Task Cascaded Convolutional Neural Network) algorithm succeeded in detecting faces by 100%.

Abstract

Di PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Lahendong, proses pendataan pengunjung masih belum tersistem dan masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Saat ini, para pengunjung diwajibkan mengisi formulir kunjungan dan meninggalkan Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) di pos satpam untuk mendapatkan kartu pengunjung. Namun, hal ini seringkali menimbulkan kendala dalam pengisian formulir pengunjung. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pendataan pengunjung berbasis website yang menerapkan teknologi Optical Character Recognition (OCR) yang tujuannya untuk mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pendataan pengunjung di PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Lahendong. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap utama: tahap Research yang terdiri dari analisis masalah dan pengumpulan data, tahap System Development yang terdiri dari desain dan pengkodean, serta tahapn Testing melalui usability testing dan evaluasi hasil proses OCR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pendataan pengunjung berbasis website dengan teknologi Optical Character Recognition (OCR) memperoleh nilai ketergunaan sebesar 79,1%, menunjukkan tingkat kebaikan aplikasi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Sementara itu, penerapan teknologi OCR dalam proses ekstraksi data dari Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) menghasilkan rata-rata nilai sebesar 73,06%. Menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi telah berhasil dalam mengambil data dari KTP. Kata Kunci : KTP, OCR, Pendataan Pengunjung, Usability Testing, Website

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) refer to a group of diseases that do not spread between individuals. To address this issue, a tool known as an expert system is needed. An expert system is a computer program containing information from one or more human experts in a specific field. The method used in this expert system is forward chaining, a reasoning approach starting from facts to reach conclusions. Forward chaining is considered an inference strategy beginning with known facts, searching for new facts based on rules whose premises match existing facts. Testing this application demonstrates its effectiveness in diagnosing non-communicable diseases. Thus, an expert system using forward chaining can provide accurate and efficient solutions in handling NCDs.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan pesat industri pariwisata di Kota Tomohon menuntut solusi teknologis yang canggih untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengunjung secara keseluruhan. Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) menawarkan solusi yang menjanjikan untuk analisis data spasial dan pengambilan keputusan di sektor pariwisata. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan GIS yang disesuaikan dengan sektor pariwisata Kota Tomohon. Penelitian ini secara khusus fokus pada integrasi algoritma A* untuk mengoptimalkan perencanaan rute dan navigasi di dalam objek wisata. Implementasi GIS melibatkan desain arsitektur sistem yang komprehensif. Data geografis, termasuk peta dan lokasi wisata, menjalani proses pemrosesan yang teliti. Algoritma A* kemudian diintegrasikan ke dalam GIS untuk memberikan perencanaan rute yang efisien dan optimal bagi pengunjung. Implementasi ini menunjukkan peningkatan navigasi dan optimasi rute di sektor pariwisata Kota Tomohon. Analisis perbandingan dengan metode alternatif menegaskan efektivitas algoritma A* dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna. Sebagai kesimpulan, integrasi GIS dengan algoritma A* terbukti menjadi aset berharga untuk industri pariwisata di Kota Tomohon.

Abstract

Marinsow Village is one of the emerging tourist destinations in North Sulawesi, with its main attractions being the natural beauty and authentic local culture. Homestays have become a popular accommodation choice for tourists. This study aims to analyze the booking patterns of homestays in Marinsow Village by applying the Apriori algorithm, which is expected to help improve marketing strategies and optimize homestay booking services. The research method used is the prototype method, along with UML (Unified Modeling Language) to assist in system design. The data used in this study includes homestay bookings from August 2023 to May 2024, with a total of 750 transaction records. The analysis results reveal certain booking patterns that have the potential to be utilized in the development of more targeted promotional strategies and the enhancement of homestay services tailored to tourist preferences.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perbandingan dua algoritma untuk estimasi timbulan sampah yaitu algoritma regresi linear dengan algoritma backpropagation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui model algoritma dengan performa terbaik yang dihasilkan dari kedua algoritma tersebut yang mana algoritma dengan kinerja terbaik akan digunakan dalam pembuatan sistem estimasi timbulan sampah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil evaluasi model untuk kedua algoritma menggunakan data uji didapatkan bahwa model regresi linear sederhana memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik dari pada model backpropagation. Untuk nilai error pengujian data uji dengan metrik evaluasi MSE dan MAE pada model algoritma regresi linear yaitu sebesar 0,034382 dan 0,13332 dibandingkan dengan backpropagation didapatkan nilai MSE dan MAE sebesar 0,03457 dan 0.13974. Dan pada penelitian ini telah dibuat sistem estimasi timbulan sampah menggunakan algoritma regresi linear sederhana dengan pengujian algoritma memiliki nilai error MAPE kurang dari 10% yang mana masuk dalam kategori sangat akurat.
