Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan secara bersama oleh dosen dan mahasiswa dalam upaya kegiatan pemberdayaan pembelajaran di sekolah. Kemitraan sekolah (guru dan murid) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian dosen dan mahasiswa yang dilakukan secara lintas sektoral dan komprehensif. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian ini bertempat di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 060925 Amplas Kota Medan dan dilaksanakan selama 12 hari. Pihak sekolah sangat aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian yang berhubungan dengan pembelajaran di sekolah. Program kemitraan yang telah dilaksanakan yaitu berupa pemberdayaan guru dan murid dalam pembelajaran pada masa Covid-19. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memperkuat pemahaman guru dan murid dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas di sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan, guru dan murid mengatahui dan menerapkan proses pembelajaran pada masa Covid-19 dalam memaksimalkan pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Membangun lembar kerja data yang dapat digunakan pada kelas berbasis PjBL untuk siswa kelas IV SDN 060818 Medan merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan empat langkah definisi, desain, pengembangan, dan implementasi untuk mendapatkan hasil. Pengembangan LKS berbasis PjBL pada materi struktur data yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi satu-satunya fokus penelitian ini, sehingga peneliti hanya menggunakan metode pengembangan 4D sampai tahap pengembangan. Kuesioner atau angket dibagikan kepada validator validator ahli media, validator ahli materi, dan validator ahli pembelajaran untuk keperluan pengumpulan data. Persentase 82% dicapai berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli validasi materi tanpa ada catatan revisi. Rasio ini menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja siswa PjBL berdasarkan data merupakan alat pembelajaran yang bermanfaat. Rekor revisi mencapai 85%, menurut hasil validasi profesional media. Ahli validator media memberikan persentase 95% setelah merevisi LKS berbasis PjBL pada materi struktur data. Rasio ini menunjukkan daya adaptasi LKS konten struktur data berbasis PjBL terhadap proses pembelajaran. 93% tugas tidak memerlukan revisi, sesuai validasi temuan ahli pembelajaran. Dimungkinkan untuk menarik kesimpulan bahwa lembar kerja berbasis PjBL berdasarkan struktur data sangat mudah beradaptasi ketika belajar dari proporsi ini.

Abstract

Financial planning is a process of planning expenditure, investment and financing to optimize existing finances. Considering the inportance of personal financial planning in everyday life, the UMN AL Washliyah Community service team provides knowledge about how make financial plans through community service activities. Community service activities were carried out at JISDA Thailand with 40 students as socialization participants. The result of implementing community service, where JISDA Thailand students know and understand what financial planning is how to make good financial planning, the benefits of financial planning and simple bookkeeping. This activity can provide motivation for students to be financially literate in managing their finances. This activity went very well and smoothly.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to develop diorama media in thematic learning on the theme of caring for living creatures in class IV and efforts to improve student learning outcomes in class IV at Elementary School 104211 Marindal. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subject of this research is diorama media on the theme (caring for living creatures) and the object of this research is learning material on the theme (caring for living creatures) to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. Quantitative data is obtained from the formula used to determine the suitability of media and materials. The data obtained is used as a reference for making revisions to the products being developed. Based on the calculations above, the results of the overall assessment of the material experts reached the instrument used to collect data, namely a questionnaire. The results of media validation for the theme learning diorama (caring for living creatures) were media expert validation obtained 82% with the criteria being very suitable for use and suitable for development in learning the themes of caring for living creatures sub theme 1 very feasible, material expert validation obtained a score of 80% with the criteria are suitable for use, the teacher's response received a score of 97% with the criteria very suitable for use and the student response received a score of 95% with the criteria very suitable for use. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that diorama media can improve learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students. Can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students

Abstract

This study specifically aims to describe the effectiveness of the Wattpad media in increasing reading interest in class XI students at SMK YPK Mabar Kec. Medan Deli. This research is a type of non-experimental quantitative research using the correlational method, namely research by assessing the relationship between two or more phenomena. The sample in this study was class XI SMK YPK Mabar as many as 20 students with simple random sampling technique. The instruments and techniques used to collect data in this study were non-test instruments consisting of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the overall score for the X variable (use of the Wattpad application) reaches 774 scores, while the Y variable (reading interest) reaches 869 scores. The correlation between the x variable and the y variable is 0.789 with a sufficient correlation interpretation because it is between 0.600 to 0.800. If rxy (calculated value) = 0.789 is significant by r table product moment with the number of N = 20 at a significant level of 5% = 0.444 and at a level of 1% = 0.561, it turns out that the value obtained through calculations is greater than rcount, namely 0.220 < 0.789 > 0.561. So it can be said that there is a significant relationship between the use of the Wattpad application on the reading interest of the YPK Mabar Vocational High School students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve basic locomotor movement skills in grade 5 elementary school students through active learning interventions based on traditional games. In this research, researchers used a quasi-experimental research design with stratified random sampling. Two groups of students were selected, where one group was given active learning intervention, while the other group was a control group that received conventional learning. The research instruments used included basic movement skills tests, student response questionnaires, participant observation, and field notes. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and the T test to compare the differences between the two groups before and after the learning intervention. The statistical calculation method used was the T test, which was used to compare the differences between the experimental group and the control group in terms of improvement in basic locomotor movement skills after the intervention. By using the T test, researchers can evaluate whether there are significant differences between the two groups and whether traditional game-based active learning interventions are effective in improving the basic movement skills of grade 5 elementary school students. The research results show that traditional game-based active learning interventions have a significant positive impact in improving basic locomotor movement skills in grade 5 students. This shows the important potential of interactive and fun learning methods in improving the quality of learning and the development of students' motor skills. In conclusion, active learning interventions based on traditional games can be effective in improving basic locomotor movement skills in grade 5 elementary school students. This research provides important implications for the development of a more inclusive and student-centered curriculum at the elementary school level.
