Abstract

Abstract The first activity carried out in this service activity was observation to determine problems in activities at PT Bali Moda Busana. Observations are only focused on the production department and some management staff. Based on the observations that have been made, it is found that the working environment at PT Bali Moda Busana, has the potential for physical hazards and the workers have not Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work which allows work accidents. The expected results in service activities are that employees in the production department have more knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health (K3); acquire knowledge of identifying potential hazards in the workplace and preventive measures for work accidents; and gain knowledge about the types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Based on the results of this service activity in the form of counseling, training and mentoring that has been carried out; employees of the production department, to acquire knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health (K3); acquire knowledge of identifying potential hazards in the workplace and preventive measures for work accidents; and gain knowledge about the types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), then implement it in daily work, as the motto of work “Savety 1st”  Kata Kunci:  K3, APD, karyawan

Abstract

Abstract This community service activity aims to improve quality and productivity at Kaliboto Green Institute, an institution that focuses on goat farming, fish farming, and fermented animal feed processing, through the implementation of innovation-based Human Resource Management (HRM). The program is designed to strengthen employee skills, improve operational efficiency, and encourage innovation in the production process. The activity implementation method consists of several stages, namely preparation, training, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The preparation stage includes coordination with stakeholders and development of training materials. In the training phase, employees are provided with knowledge and skills in applying innovative HRM techniques. Implementation involves the direct application of the management practices that have been taught. Monitoring is conducted periodically to evaluate the implementation and its impact. The results of these activities showed a significant improvement in employee skills, especially in terms of time management, resource management, and problem solving. Operational efficiency also improved, as evidenced by reduced production time and improved end-product quality. In addition, there was increased innovation in the livestock and farming processes, such as the adoption of new technologies and more efficient management methods. Evaluation of the activities revealed several challenges faced, including resistance to change from some employees and limited resources to support long-term implementation. Based on the results, it is recommended to conduct capacity building on an ongoing basis and increase support from management to ensure the sustainability of the program. The program has also had a positive impact on the welfare of the local community and can serve as a model for the development of other small and medium enterprises. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang sudah memakan waktu lebih dari satu tahun berdampak pada segala sendi kehidupan, masyarakat berubah dan menyesuaikan diri dengan era New Normal yang harus taat terhadap protocol Kesehatan. Tak terkecuali aktivitas perekonomian sampai pada pada hiburan dan cara menikmatinya. Masyarakat mulai berfikir kreatif dalam mensiasati tingkat stress yang tingia kibat perubahan pola hidup yang signifikan. Pariwisata adalah satu sector yang sangat terdampak, masyarakat enggan berpergian terlalu jauh karea factor resiko paparan serta biaya yang harus dileuarkan meskipun hasrat berwisata harus tersalurkan. Desa wisata menjadi alternatif bagi masyarakat baik cara menikmati wisata maupun sebagai salah satu upaya usaha pemberdayaan daerah berbasis lingkungan. Permasalahan yang timbul adalah bagaimana pemerintah desa pakahan dalam mengidentifikasi kekayaan alam mensinergikan sumberdaya masyarakat dan lingkungan serta strategi komunikasi agar program tersebut dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Team pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari Universitas Surakarta berusaha menjembatani permasalahan tersebut. Dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang Strategi Komunikasi Melalui Media social kepada team Inisiator di Pemerintah desa Pakahan,Jogoalan, Klaten diharapkan program desa wisata desa Pakahan tersebut dapat berjalan efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan media social seperti facebook, Instagram, youtube, tiktok dapat lebih maksimal hasilnya jika materi / content disusun dengan baik sehingga pesan dapat dipahami oleh sasaran yang telah ditentukan karakteristiknya.
