Abstract

As a part of management disaster, the intervention of psycho education has been done by a nurse in Diploma IV nursing program as dedication to community. The aims of  dedication to community is to explore the effect of psycho education among survivor of landslide in Banjarnegara in decreasing psychosocial problem. Method: We used psycho education as intervention and After implementation for 50 hours with technique of focus group discussion there was a significant decrease in psychosocial problem among family with survivor of landslide. We recommended that psycho education become of disaster management.

Abstract

Along with the times and technology that is so fast requires everyone to improve their performance. One of them is the external auditor profession. This study aims to analyze the effect of work overload, intellectual quotient, emotional quotient, and spiritual quotient on the performance of external auditors. This study uses a quantitative method using primary data. The population used in this study is the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in DKI Jakarta. The sample used a purposive sampling method with a total of 75 respondents who had the criteria of being worked as an auditor at KAP in DKI Jakarta with a minimum of 6 months of works. The results of this study indicate that work overload has a negative effect on the performance of external auditors while the intellectual quotient, emotional quotient, and spiritual quotient have a positive effect on the performance of external auditors

Abstract

Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common cancer in children worldwide, which requires long treatment. This condition and its subsequent treatment change the body's physiology, reducing children’s quality of life. Objective To describe the quality of life in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Java, Indonesia. Methods This descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach included parents who had children with ALL at three referral hospitals in Java, Indonesia, between January 2021 and May 2022. We recruited 188 mothers or fathers who accompanied their children for follow-up visits or hospitalization. Children’s quality of life as the primary outcome was evaluated by parent proxy using the PedsQL 3.0 cancer module. Results Most parents were mothers (81.9%); parents’ ages ranged from 22 to 59 years. The mean age of children was 7.63 (SD 3.85) years, with 63.3% boys and 147 (78.2%) treated in maintenance phase during the study. The mean overall children’s QoL score was 84.37 and it classified as high (73.9% of subjects), no children had very low QoL. The lowest mean sub-scale QoL score was in procedural anxiety (72.25), whereas the highest sub-scale score was in communication (91.56). Conclusion There is an improvement in QoL of children with ALL in Indonesia. However, the procedural anxiety sub-scale requires more interventions to reduce anxiety and alleviate pain during invasive procedures.

Abstract

Reproductive Health is a serious problem that is often experienced throughout the life cycle that has become a concern for the government. The formation of adolescent cadres is one form of extension of health workers in conveying reproductive health information. This study aims to determine the formation of adolescent cadres to increase reproductive health knowledge at Miftahul Huda Tasikmalaya Islamic Boarding School, West Java. This  research design uses pre-experimental  research with one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique in this study used a total sampling  technique totaling 40 active adolescent students as administrators of Islamic boarding school health posts. The data collection tool in this study was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability with results of 0.850. The data collection method is carried out using primary data and secondary data. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with Wilcoxon test. The results of this study show that there is an influence of the formation of adolescent cadres by providing reproductive health counseling on increasing reproductive health knowledge at Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Manonjaya Tasikmalaya with Wilcoxon's statistical test producing P 0.000 < (p 0.05). There is a significant influence on increasing reproductive health knowledge at Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Manonjaya Tasikmalaya. It is hoped that adolescent cadres can pass on reproductive health information to their peers so that they can improve adolescent reproductive health.

Abstract

Good maternal knowledge will affect how mothers care for their children’s health, nutrition and monitor their child's growth and development. One of the strategies carried out is to bring toddlers to Posyandu. The regularity of mothers visiting Posyandu will be very useful in monitoring the early detection of toddlers' growth, development, and health status so that mothers know the abnormalities of their children. This study aims to find out how mothers' knowledge about toddler growth and development with the compliance of mothers visiting Posyandu. This study used a correlational quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. With the Saturated Sample Technique, the entire research sample was used as research respondents, as many as 30. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Primary data collection from questionnaires and secondary data was based on mothers' MCH/KMS books and Posyandu records. Data analysis using Chi-Square statistical test. The study results obtained an alternative value of the Chi-Square test, namely Fisher's Exact Test, with a p-value= 1,000, which means there is no correlation between the two variables. The mother's level of knowledge about toddler growth and development has nothing to do with the mother's obedience or disobedience to visit the posyandu regularly every month.

Abstract

Kanker payudara menjadi peringkat yang kedua di dunia dengan persentase sebesar 11,6%. Prevalensi kanker di Provinsi DI Yogyakarta tergolong tinggi dibandingkan provinsi lainnya, yaitu sebesar 4,1 pada Riskesdas 2013 dan 4,86% pada Riskesdas 2018. 80% pasien datang ke layanan Kesehatan saat sudah dalam kondisi stadium lanjut sehingga prognosisnya tidak baik. Deteksi dini yang dapat dilakukan secra mandiri adalah dengan Periksa Payudara Sendiri (SADARI). Pemerintah menetapkan prosedur (Pemeriksaan Payudara Klinis) SADANIS dan Mamografi pada pasien yang menemukan adanya kelainan dari SADARI. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan pada ibu wanita usia subur di wilayah Brontokusuman Yogyakarta. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan pemberian edukasi menggunakan powerpoint dan buku saku yang mencakup materi pengertian, prevalesi kanker payudara, kategori kanker payudara, gejala kanker payudara, faktor risiko kanker payudara, dan cara deteksi dini kanker payudara serta Langkah SADARI dan setelah pemberian edukasi dilaksanakan simulasi pelaksanaan SADARI. Hasil edukasi dan simulasi terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan SADARI pada peserta. Terdapat peningkatan nilai postest sebesar 40% pada peserta. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi bulan selanjutnya menunjukkan bahwa SADARI dilaksanakan oleh peserta.

Abstract

The use of radiation protection devices in the radiology installation is very important to dispel scatter radiation and reduce the effects of radiation, but during an examination in the panoramic room of the radiology installation, Ken Saras Hospital, Kab. Semarang radiographers do not use aprons on patients or themselves, for this reason this research was conducted with the aim of knowing radiographer compliance in using radiation protection devices and radiation protection procedures in the panoramic room of the radiology installation at Ken Saras Hospital, Kab. Semarang. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach which was carried out in June 2023 with the object of research in the form of an apron. The data in this study were obtained through observation and interviews with 1 radiation protection officer and 3 radiographers who served in the panoramic room of the radiology installation at Ken Saras Hospital, Kab. Semarang. The results showed that the radiographer did not use the apron available in the panoramic room and only used radiation shields, but the radiographer took other protective measures. The conclusion in this study is that radiographers comply in implementing radiation protection measures against themselves by using radiation protection devices in the form of radiation shields while radiation protection for patients is not carried out by providing aprons but through other protective measures in accordance with the principles of radiation protection, namely justification, optimization and limitation .

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the level of stunting in toddlers aged 1-3 years. This research uses a quantitative cross-sectional correlation approach. The sample method in this study was simple random sampling of 93 respondents who had stunted toddlers aged 1-3 years from two sub-districts in the Surakarta area in 2023. The instruments used in this study were height measurements and a demographic questionnaire. The research results were analyzed using frequency and Spearman distribution statistical tests. The results showed that there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the level of stunting with a value of 0.015 (p=<0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the level of stunting in toddlers aged 1-3 years. Keywords: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Toddlers, Stunting

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan komunikasi interaktif pada siswi MAN 1 Jombang yang tinggal di asrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei kuantitatif dengan instrumen skala kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan komunikasi interaktif yang telah divalidasi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 69 siswi asrama yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan komunikasi interaktif. Semakin tinggi tingkat kepercayaan diri siswi, semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan yang mereka alami saat berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan program intervensi untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri sebagai upaya mengurangi kecemasan komunikasi pada siswi yang tinggal di asrama.

Abstract

This research aimed to compile a toxic hazardous materials waste (LB3) disclosure index in Indonesia, knowing the difference between unweighted and weighted LB3 disclosures in manufacturing and oil and gas companies, mineral and coal mining management (Minerba). The data used was primary, sourced from FGD and questionnaires with the sampling technique used were accidental sampling. The secondary data used was the LB3 disclosure data of manufacturing and mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019 using purposive sampling techniques. The index preparation method used descriptive tests and independent t-test tests to look for differences in unweighted and weighted LB3 disclosures in manufacturing and mining companies. The results of this study in the form of LB3 disclosure index as many as 21 disclosure items with their respective weights. The test results were no different but the mean value of LB3 weighted disclosure (0.2945) was higher than the mean weighted value (0.283). The difference from the unweighted and weighted index is 0.0142, the difference is very small, so statistically there is no different LB3 disclosure in manufacturing companies and miners.
