Abstract

The rapid growth of online shopping in Indonesia has led platforms like Shopee to implement live streaming to enhance customer engagement and encourage impulsive purchases. This study examines the effects of sales promotion, store atmosphere, hedonic motivation, and fashion involvement on impulsive buying behavior in Shopee Live streaming, with positive emotion serving as an intervening variable. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 200 Shopee users in Jakarta through purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied for data analysis to test the relationships between variables. Results indicate that sales promotion, store atmosphere, hedonic motivation, and fashion involvement significantly influence impulsive buying behavior directly and through positive emotion. The findings reveal that positive emotion plays a crucial mediating role, particularly with sales promotions, hedonic motivation, and fashion involvement, enhancing impulsive buying tendencies. These insights offer valuable implications for e-commerce platforms and marketers aiming to optimize live-streaming features to drive impulsive purchases through engaging and emotionally resonant experiences.

Abstract

Safety citizenship behavior (SCB) of the ship crew is essential to maritime safety. Therefore, using safety motivation as a mediating mechanism, this research attempts to understand and quantify the impact of safety leadership, social capital, and safety awareness on ship crew SCB. The study employs a causal design and survey methods in a quantitative manner. 120 crew members of passenger ships that were docked at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta made up the sample. A Likert scale questionnaire was utilized as the research tool for safety leadership, social capital, safety awareness, safety motivation, and SCB. Google Forms-formatted questionnaires were sent out by email and WhatsApp. Partial least squares (PLS)-based structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was used to analyze the data. The study's findings indicate that safety leadership, social capital, safety awareness, and safety motivation all have a significant impact on SCB; additionally, safety leadership, social capital, and safety awareness all have a significant impact on safety motivation, which in turn has a significant impact on SCB through safety motivation. These results validate the novelty of the safety leadership, social capital, and safety awareness mediation model's effect on the SCB of passenger ship crew through safety motivation.

Abstract

The ship crew's safety citizenship behavior (SCB) is essential for protecting shipping. Based on the perspectives of safety awareness and motivation, this research aims to examine the SCB issue that mariners encounter while working on passenger ships. This investigation endeavors to assess the impact of safety awareness and motivation on the SCB of ship crews using the mediation mechanism of safety motivation. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method and a causal design. A total of 120 crew members from passenger ships that were operating at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta were in the sample. The research instrument employed was a Likert scale-based questionnaire. In the Google Forms format, questionnaires were distributed via WhatsApp and email. Structured equation modeling analysis based on partial least squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to analyze the Data. The research findings show a significant correlation between safety motivation and safety awareness in ship crew SCB. Furthermore, safety awareness substantially impacts the safety motivation of the crew, and safety motivation mediates the effect of safety awareness on SCB. This evidence demonstrates the originality of the mediation concept, which posits that safety awareness impacts the SCB of passenger ship crew members through safety motivation.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates how Ease of Use in an e?procurement system impacts User Loyalty within a national upstream oil and gas company, with User Satisfaction serving as a mediating factor. The aim is to clarify the indirect effect of system usability on loyalty by evaluating the mediation pathway through satisfaction Methodology: Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 296 e?procurement users across 15 national hulu migas companies using structured surveys. Responses were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via SmartPLS 4 Results: The study found that ease of use significantly impacts user satisfaction (? = 0.779, p < .000) and user loyalty (? = 0.293, p < .000), with user satisfaction mediating the relationship between ease of use and loyalty (indirect effect = 0.537, p = .000). These results align with recent research indicating that ease of use enhances user satisfaction and loyalty, with satisfaction serving as a mediator in this relationship. Conclusions: Ease of use significantly effect on user satisfaction and loyalty. User satisfaction has positive and significant mediating ease of use and loyalty. Limitations: The study does not account for variations across different platforms or consider deeper system factors such as security, technical complexity, and usability challenges—issues highlighted in the literature as significant barriers to e-procurement adoption Contribution: This Research contributes to both management practice and academic understanding by showing that improving system usability can enhance loyalty through user satisfaction—offering a clear direction for strategic enhancements in e?procurement platforms.
