Abstract

Menopause adalah tidak mengalami menstruasi selama 12 bulan berturut-turut diakibatkan oleh ovarium secara progresif yang telah gagal dalam memproduksi hormon estrogen. Kualitas tidur merupakan kepuasan seseorang terhadap tidur, sehingga seseorang tersebut tidak memperlihatkan tanda-tanda kurang tidur dan tidak mengalami masalah dalam tidurnya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini mengetahui adanya pengaruh pemberian aromat erapi cendana terhadap kualitas tidur ibu menopause usia 60-70 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif dengan pre eksperimen dan menggunakan rancangan penelitian one grup pretest and posttest. Teknik pengambilan sempel menggunakan teknik non-probability berupa purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 22 ibu menopause dengan usia 60-70 tahun. Menggunakan alat ukur kuisioner dengan kualitas tidur. Peneliti ini menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian diketahui kualitas tidur ibu menopause sebelum di berikan Adalah mean 23.41dan setelah diberikan diberikan nilai mean 8.91. Berdasarkan uji statistic terdapat pengaruh sebelum di berikan dan sesudah di berikan aromaterapi Cendana adalah p value-=0,00(p=0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi cendana terhadap Kualitas Tidur Ibu Menopause Usia 60-70 Tahun Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Alung. Disarankan bagi ibu menopause dapat menerapkan terapi non farmakologi menggunakan aroma erapi cendana. Hal ini karena pemberian aromatterapi cendana terbukti dapat meningkatkan kualitas tidur ibu menopause. Keywords: Ibu Menopause, Kualitas Tidur, Aromaterapi Cendana

Abstract

Colostrum is the first essential fluid for newborns because it contains antibodies, immunoglobulins, and essential nutrients that function to enhance the infant’s immune system. However, in some postpartum mothers, the release of colostrum is often delayed due to insufficient stimulation of the hormone oxytocin, which plays a key role in the let-down reflex. Oxytocin massage is one of the non-pharmacological methods that can increase oxytocin stimulation and thereby accelerate colostrum release. This study aimed to determine the effect of oxytocin massage on colostrum release among postpartum mothers. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest with control group approach. The sample consisted of postpartum mothers who met the inclusion criteria, selected using purposive sampling. The measurement of colostrum release was conducted by observing the time of the first colostrum appearance after the intervention. Data were analyzed using statistical tests such as the t-test or Mann–Whitney, depending on the data distribution. The results showed a significant difference in the time of colostrum release between the group that received oxytocin massage and the control group, with a p-value < 0.05. Postpartum mothers who received oxytocin massage experienced earlier colostrum release compared to those who did not receive the intervention. In conclusion, oxytocin massage has a significant effect on accelerating colostrum release among postpartum mothers. It is recommended that healthcare providers implement oxytocin massage as a complementary intervention to enhance the success of early breastfeeding initiation (EBI) and support adequate breast milk production during the postpartum period.

Abstract

Bullying is one of the problems that frequently occurs in the school environment and can have negative impacts on students’ mental health, self-confidence, and social development. Bullying behavior may take the form of physical, verbal, or psychological violence carried out repeatedly by individuals or groups against students who are considered weaker. The lack of students’ knowledge about the impacts of bullying and the low level of awareness regarding the importance of creating a safe and comfortable school environment are factors that contribute to the occurrence of bullying behavior. Therefore, educational efforts through a Child-Friendly School Program are needed to increase students’ understanding and awareness in preventing bullying. This community service activity aims to improve students’ knowledge and awareness regarding bullying prevention through education on the Child-Friendly School Program among students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Pariaman. The implementation method consisted of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The activity began with coordination with the school, followed by health education using lectures, discussions, and educational media presentations about bullying and its prevention. The evaluation of the activity was conducted through pretest and posttest to assess the improvement of students’ knowledge after the educational intervention. The results of the activity indicated an increase in students’ knowledge and understanding regarding the forms of bullying, its impacts, and ways to prevent bullying behavior in the school environment. In addition, students demonstrated more positive attitudes toward creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful school environment. This educational program is expected to serve as a promotive and preventive effort to support the implementation of a child-friendly school and reduce bullying incidents in the school environment.
