Abstract

Education helps students make the best possible adjustment to their surroundings and can produce changes in themselves that allow them to operate in communal life. Character education is essential for guiding people towards excellent ethics or morals. The Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) is part of the government's efforts to address the long-standing learning crisis, which is exacerbated by the epidemic, by imparting student character education in accordance with the Pancasila student profile. Students will develop positive character traits as a result of the design of appropriate educational modules. Because this research will discuss the design of instructional modules, it will be conducted qualitatively. The findings suggest that the ideal teaching module design incorporates criteria and components from the Pancasila (P5) student profile.

Abstract

Technology advancements are acknowledged to make it simpler for young learners to access information and knowledge, but they also lead to a change in values in people's outlook on life and their religious practices due to a leaning towards freedom and hyper technology. Islamic education must act in response to these circumstances by implementing a number of tactical measures to transform the difficulties encountered into opportunities in an endeavour to raise an excellent generation that is morally upright and intelligent. This article will discuss the crucial function of Islamic education in fostering responsibility in the face of rapidly advancing technological advancements in both communication and educational resources from the perspective of Hasan al-Banna. This article uses library research techniques to gather a variety of ideas, facts, research findings, and expert opinions along with pertinent analysis. As a result, it is clear how Hasan al-Banna’s viewpoints on Islamic education is in producing a generation that is excellent in every way, including intellectually, materially, morally, and spiritually, where they are collected to the character building. Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi diakui telah memudahkan pelajar muda untuk mengakses informasi dan pengetahuan, namun juga membawa perubahan nilai-nilai dalam pandangan hidup masyarakat dan praktik keagamaan mereka akibat kecenderungan menuju kebebasan dan hiper teknologi. Pendidikan Islam harus merespons kondisi ini dengan menerapkan sejumlah langkah taktis untuk mengubah kesulitan yang dihadapi menjadi peluang dalam upaya mendidik generasi yang unggul secara moral dan cerdas. Artikel ini akan membahas peran penting pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk tanggung jawab menghadapi kemajuan teknologi yang pesat dalam komunikasi dan sumber daya pendidikan, ditinjau dari perspektif Hasan al-Banna. Artikel ini menggunakan teknik penelitian pustaka untuk mengumpulkan berbagai ide, fakta, temuan penelitian, dan pandangan ahli beserta analisis yang relevan. Sebagai hasilnya, jelas bagaimana pandangan Hasan al-Banna tentang pendidikan Islam berkontribusi dalam menciptakan generasi yang unggul dalam segala hal, termasuk secara intelektual, materi, moral, dan spiritual yang semuanya tergabung dalam pembangunan karakter.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguasaan terhadap fiqih khutbah dan problematikanya merupakan salah satu aspek yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan pemahaman dan kompetensi para dari dan Muballigh, maka tujuan pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis persyarikatan Muhammadiyah ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan serta sosialisasi fiqih khutbah perspektif Tarjih Muhammadiyah pada Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah Gamping Yogyakarta dalam rangka meningkatan kompetensi para muballigh serta para dai di lingkungan Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Gamping yang berjumlah 25 peserta dari utusan setiap Pimpinan Ranting Muhammadiyah (PRM). Program ini terdiri dari tiga materi utama, pertama; materi terkait urgensi dan tantangan dakwah Muhammadiyah di Era Revoluosi Industri 5.0. Kedua, adalah materi tentang sosialisasi serta pemahaman fikih khutbah perspektif Tarjih Muhammadiyah, yang telah terdokumentasikan pada buku Himpunan Putusan Tarjih Muhammadiyah (HPT) maupun buku Tanya Jawab Agama Jilid 1-8 yang membahas terkait persoalan-persoalan dalam fiqih khutbah, serta membahas masalah-masalah khilafiyah terkait khutbah. Ketiga, materi terkait retotrika khutbah dan pelatihan penulisan naskah khutbah, dan diakhiri dengan praktik khutbah bagi tiap peserta. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan ini antara lain: (1) peningkatan pengetahuan serta wawasan para peserta tentang fikih khutbah perspektif Tarjih Muhammadiyah dan segala problematikanya; dan (2) Meningkatkan kemampuan, keberanian serta kompetensi para muballigh muda Muhammadiyah dalam berceramah maupun berkhutbah Jumat.Abstract: Mastery of fiqih khutbah and its problems is one of the most important aspects in increasing the understanding and competence of preachers, So the purpose of implementing this community service program based on the Muhammadiyah organization is to provide training and socialization of the jurisprudence of sermons from the Tarjih Muhammadiyah perspective to the Muhammadiyah Gamping Youth Generation (AMM) in Yogyakarta to increase the competence of preachers within The Branch Board of Muhammadiyah (PCM) of Gamping Sleman Yogyakarta. This program consists of three primary materials, first; material related to the urgency and challenges of Muhammadiyah da'wah in the Era of Industrial Revolution 5.0, which will be taught by one of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Tabligh Council, secondly, is material about the socialization and understanding of the fiqh khutbah from the perspective of Tarjih Muhammadiyah, which has been documented in the book of Association of Muhammadiyah Tarjih Decisions (HPT) as well as the book Questions and Answers on Religion Volumes 1-8 which discuss issues related to sermon fiqh, as well as discuss khilafiyah issues related to sermons. Third, the sermon rhetoric and sermon script writing training material ended with each participant's sermon practice. The results achieved from this activity include: (1) increasing the knowledge and insight of the participants about the fiqh of khutbah from the perspective of Tarjih Muhammadiyah and all its problems; and (2) increasing the ability, courage and competence of the preachers.

Abstract

This article aims to develop innovations in the form of education applications, parenting and help parents understand the correct concept in providing education to children. The methodology of this research uses a qualitative approach whose samples are parents as the main actors in the role of the family. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. By doing research, it can be concluded that there is a need for an application that can help parents in implementing good and quality parenting by utilizing technology in the form of smart application innovations.

Abstract

This study examines on Strengthening Character Education (PPK) in Islamic education. Strengthening Character Education (PPK) is a systematic approach to shaping and developing positive character in individuals, particularly in the setting of education. This qualitative research used a qualitative descriptive approach to investigate the subject of one of the SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar, Bali. Data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings demonstrate that SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar, Bali has adopted Strengthening Character Education (PPK) in its Islamic curriculum. Implementing PPK improves learning outcomes and student behaviour by enhancing learning motivation, moral strength, social skills, and self-confidence. The curriculum that includes character education and supports extracurricular activities is the key to success in shaping student’s character.

Abstract

Abstract: Through educational institutions, Malaysian education is focused on producing competitive human capital. The physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual models are the realization of Malaysia's educational goal in the assessment of the national education philosophy (PIES). This study investigates the PIES (physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual) ideas that have been formed in the National Education Philosophy and compares them to the Qur'an (NEP). This study, which analyzes the P.I.E.S. Master Book, the Fi Zilalil Qur'an, as well as narrative texts and articles on NEP, is qualitative. The findings demonstrated that Sayid Qutb's perspective on self-balance views it as having developed critical, balanced, and competent knowledge. The NEP review strengthens the connection between spiritual and physical, intellectual, emotional, and emotional qualities. To generate highly educated, civilized, reliable, competent, and skilled people to pursue lifetime educational leadership into the 21st century, all persons and parties concerned must follow the NEP paradigm. The PIES philosophy model's structure is essential to raising educational standards in Malaysia. Practical ramifications for those working in the field of education, including religious instructors, educators, writers, planners, and implementers of universal education. Abstrak: Orientasi pendidikan di Malaysia adalah menghasilkan modal manusia kompetitif melalui lembaga pendidikan. Realisasi terhadap capaian visi pendidikan Malaysia dalam tinjauan filsafat pendidikan nasional adalah model jasmani, intelektual, emosional dan spiritual (PIES). Penelitian ini merupakan pandangan dan pembahasan dibandingkan Al-Qur'an yang mendalami konsep Jasmani, Intelektual, Emosional, dan Spiritual (PIES) yang telah ditetapkan dalam National Education Philosophy (NEP). Kajian ini merupakan kajian kualitatif melalui analisis isi dari buku Master P.I.E.S, Fi Zilalil Qur'an dan teks naratif serta artikel yang membahas tentang NEP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen keseimbangan diri melalui perspektif Sayid Qutb adalah berkembangnya pengetahuan yang kritis, seimbang, dan mumpuni. Tinjauan NEP mengarah kepada penguatan integrasi nilai jasmani-intelektual-emosional dan spiritual. Semua individu dan pihak yang terlibat perlu mempraktekkan paradigma NEP untuk menghasilkan orang-orang berilmu dan bertakwa yang berpendidikan tinggi, beradab, amanah, dan memiliki keterampilan yang sangat baik untuk mengeksplorasi kepemimpinan pendidikan seumur hidup di luar abad ke-21. Konstruk model filosofi PIES berperan krusial terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Malaysia. Implikasi praktis bagi praktisi pendidikan yang terdiri dari guru agama, pendidik, penyusun, pemimpin, dan pelaksana pendidikan universal.

Abstract

This research focuses on teachers' challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in coastal areas, especially at State Senior High School 3 Cilacap, in the context of coastal children's education. The Merdeka Curriculum is an education policy that provides flexibility in learning by optimising local potential and strengthening character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data is collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data collection technique used the triangulation method to ensure the accuracy and richness of the information obtained. Data validity was guaranteed through matching research findings with the reality observed by researchers in the field. Data analysis was conducted using the thematic method, which enabled the researcher to identify key themes from the interviews and documentation. These themes include the main challenges in teachers' understanding of the curriculum, limited educational resources, and efforts to integrate local potential into learning. The results show that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in coastal areas faces various obstacles, such as low teacher understanding and challenging geographical conditions. However, environment-based programs, such as mangrove planting, have significantly strengthened students' character and ecological awareness. This research confirms the need for close collaboration between schools, government, and communities to overcome teachers' challenges and maximise the benefits of the Merdeka Curriculum in coastal areas.

Abstract

Teaching the Qur'an is an essential part of Muslims in enhancing their understanding and practice of Islamic values, especially for converts who have recently embraced Islam. It serves as a fundamental foundation in deepening the teachings of Islam and building spiritual attachment. This study examines the teaching of the Qur'an for converts using an Islamic education approach. Qur'anic teaching is of great importance and needs to be conducted to form a Muslim who is fully committed to their faith and has a basic understanding of Islamic teachings. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to gain a deep understanding of the phenomenon being studied and comprehensively explore individuals' perspectives and experiences. The research was conducted at the Mualaf Center in Yogyakarta. In this study, the researcher conducted observations and interviews with teachers and converts at the Mualaf Center Yogyakarta. Based on the research findings, it was found that the teaching of the Qur'an at the Mualaf Center Yogyakarta focuses not only on aspects of memorization and recitation of the Qur'an but also on contextual understanding and the application of Islamic educational values in everyday life. The implementation of Qur'anic teaching with an Islamic education approach at the Mualaf Center Yogyakarta is carried out through teaching Islamic educational values such as aqidah (faith), ibadah (worship), akhlak (morality), and the Qur'an, using a unique book as a guide for the converts to understand the fundamentals of Islamic teachings, routine studies every weekend, muroja'ah and Qur'an reading activities, tadabur (reflection) or the instilling of Qur'anic values by the teachers, free tattoo removal program, and social activities as part of da'wah (Islamic preaching) to instill Islamic values and so on.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of using the Blooket application in enhancing Akidah Akhlak learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Kasihan. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed by using primary and secondary data sources. Primary data is obtained from interviews and observations, while secondary data is collected through documentation. The data was collected through interviews and questionnaires involving Akidah Akhlak teachers and 7th-grade students around 25 students. The analysis process included data reduction, presentation, and verification. The study found that before using Blooket, learning relied on traditional, less engaging methods, leading to low student participation. After implementing Blooket, student motivation and involvement increased significantly. All students found Blooket accessible, 96% considered it effective for learning, and 92% found it more engaging. The app's strength lies in its gamification features, making learning enjoyable and competitive. Gamification tools like Blooket offer an innovative approach to enhancing Akidah Akhlak education in the digital era.

Abstract

Purpose – This research explores the role of schools in implementing anti-bullying education and student protection at SDN 001 Rantau, Rokan Hilir. The phenomenon of bullying in the school environment, both verbal and non-verbal, often hurts students' mental health, sense of security, and learning motivation. Methods – This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews with the principal and teachers, direct observation, and students as the main informants, with documentation serving as supporting data. The results showed that the school had implemented various strategies, including the formation of a special team to prevent bullying. Findings – The results showed that the school had implemented various strategies, including the formation of a special team to prevent bullying. The implementation of anti-bullying programs through learning activities, and cooperation with external parties such as the health department and the police. In addition, the programs such as anti-bullying chants and claps, as well as the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), have proven effective in instilling positive values and creating an inclusive school culture. Limitations – This research is limited to literature studies and field data obtained from a single school context. Value – This study recommends strengthening anti-bullying policies through deeper curriculum integration, enhanced teacher training, and increased parental involvement to foster a safer and more supportive educational environment for students.
