Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa dalam topik elastisitas dan hukum Hooke melalui metode pembelajaran konvensional menuntut variasi strategi pembelajaran yang lebih sesuai dengan perkembangan dan inovasi dalam pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui implementasi problem based learning pada topik elastisitas dan hukum Hooke. Problem based learning merupakan strategi dimana peserta didik belajar melalui permasalahan praktis yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan nyata di sekitar. Pembelajaran konvensional dalam memahami konsep perlu divariasi sesuai dengan tuntutan kemajuan dan inovasi di pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan mengkaji sumber dari jurnal nasional dan internasional terindeks seperti Google Scholar, Garuda, dan Scopus untuk memperoleh data penelitiannya dan dibuat kesimpulan. Data-data yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa, namun pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki siswa tidak hanya saja melalui implementasi model pembelajaran problem based learning tetapi tidak terlepas dari kecerdasan yang dimiliki oleh setiap siswa. Model ini memerlukan keterampilan pengelolaan waktu dari guru. Abstract: The lack of understanding of students' concepts in the topic of elasticity and Hooke's law through conventional learning methods demands a variety of learning strategies that are more in line with developments and innovations in education. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in students' conceptual understanding through the implementation of problem based learning on the topic of elasticity and Hooke's law. Problem based learning is a strategy in which students learn through practical problems related to real life around them. Conventional learning in understanding concepts needs to be varied according to the demands of progress and innovation in learning. The method used in this study uses the literature review method by examining sources from indexed national and international journals such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and Scopus, to obtain research data and draw conclusions. The data generated in this study relate to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the problem-based learning model can improve students' understanding of concepts, but students' understanding of concepts is not only through the implementation of problem-based learning models but is inseparable from the intelligence possessed by each student. This model requires time management skills from the teacher.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini untuk mengembangkan kemampuan merancang dan melaksanakan kegiatan laboratorium IPA berorientasi pada pendekatan saintifik pada penekanan kemampuan mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menganalisis, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil. Metode pelaksanaan PkM dengan pemodelan kegiatan laboratorium, perancangan kegiatan laboratorium, dan implementasi hasil rancangan dalam pembelajaran. Peserta pelatihan guru SD sekolah Disabilitas di Bojonegoro. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument keterlaksanaan kegiatan PkM dan Angket Respon peserta pelatihan terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan: (1). Peserta pelatihan memiliki keterampilan dalam merancang dan melaksanakan kegiatan laboratorium. (2). Hasil Rancangan Kegiatan Laboratorium IPA berorientasi pada pendekatan saintifik berupa LKS. (3) Penerapan LKS yang dibuat peserta dapat dilaksanakan di sekolah masing-masing berjalan dengan baik dan tidak terdapat kendala yang berarti. (4) Peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dengan menggunakan metode proyek terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Proses belajar mengajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah umumnya dianggap tidak menarik, akibatnya banyak anak-anak sekolah yang kurang tertarik untuk mendalami mata pelajaran IPS. Untuk mengkaji permasalahan tersebut lebih mendalam, maka digunakan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen kuasi (quasi experiment). Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SDN Ngujung 2, Kecamatan Maospati, Kabupaten Magetan. Oleh karena itu untuk mempercepat pemahaman serta menghindarkan pemahaman yang keliru diperlukan pendekatan-pendekatan dan metode-metode pembelajaran yang tepat, sesuai dengan tingkat kematangan kejiwaan peserta didik. Pendekatan yang dianjurkan dalam KTSP dan K13 adalah pendekatan kontekstual termasuk dalam metode pembelajarannya. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang bisa digunakan adalah metode proyek. Dari pelaksanaan penelitian ternyata pengaruhnya sangat menonjol, guru-guru pun tertarik untuk menggunakan serta dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam belajar IPS.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the snowball throwing learning model was applied to social studies subjects of grade IV students at SDN ngujung 2.  The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model was able to increase student learning activity in social science subjects. In social science subjects, students have a fairly good activeness in the process of teaching and learning activities. Students are involved physically and mentally in the learning process such as asking questions, asking opinions, doing assignments, and discussing. Increasing student learning activity is in accordance with student learning activity indicators, namely participating in carrying out learning tasks, being involved in solving a problem, asking friends or teachers for example there is material that is not understood, trying to find information as problem solving, carrying out group discussions, measuring the abilities and results that have been obtained, practicing in solving a problem, applying the learning results obtained in solving  Problems Faced. The obstacles faced are such as the duration of learning time is lacking, classrooms that are less strategic, and interference from ignorant friends.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of an e-library as a social study (hereafter, IPS) learning resource for elementary school students in improving their literacy skills. When developing learning materials for social studies, Social Studies (IPS) teachers in elementary schools should have a clear goal and direction, including the use of e-library resources that can enhance students' literacy skills. A descriptive qualitative research approach was utilised to examine the efficacy of the e-library as a learning resource for primary school pupils in the field of social sciences, with a specific focus on enhancing their reading abilities. Data was collected through a literature review and document analysis on social studies learning in elementary schools, literacy skills, and e-libraries. In this investigation, up to  40 research articles were used. The findings indicated that the e-library was effective in helping primary school students study social subjects and develop their literacy skills. In order to optimize the potential of the library, the government or schools should: 1) provide relevant learning resources; 2) establish a 24-hour accessible system; 3) employ a creative librarian; and 4) utilize information technology to target students. This will enable students to access and acquire learning content easily. Additionally, the library should create a space for students to express their ideas freely and channel creativity, making library activities more lively and enjoyable.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology demands integrating digital ethics skills into the education process, including at the elementary school level. The study explores the transformation of social science teaching in elementary schools to build students' digital ethics skills. This study uses a qualitative method as a literature study, including analysing various relevant academic sources, such as journal articles, books, and previous research reports. The focus lies on how the pedagogical approach in Social Sciences can be adjusted to instil digital ethics values, such as responsible use of technology, privacy awareness, and critical thinking skills towards digital information. The study results indicate that teaching social Sciences has excellent potential as an effective medium for introducing the concept of digital ethics to students. Students can better understand the importance of ethical behaviour in the online environment through project-based learning methods, group discussions, and case studies related to social issues in the digital world. In addition, the role of teachers as facilitators is vital in guiding students to develop a critical understanding of the information they encounter online. The transformation of social science teaching integrated with digital ethics improves students' technological literacy and forms character as responsible technology users. The study's implications are expected to be a reference for educators in designing a curriculum relevant to the needs of the digital era.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa hendaknya selalu diterapkan pada setiap prosesbelajar mengajar. Pada setiap prosesnya, diperlukan kreativitas, keaktifan maupuninovasi oleh seorang guru agar hasil akhir dari suatu proses pembelajaran menuai hasilyang maksimal. Indikator keberhasilan suatu proses pembelajaran, salah satunya adalahhasil belajar siswa yang meningkat. Salah satu penerapan pembelajaran yang dapatmeningkatkan hasil belajar adalah penerapan Problem Based Learning dengan materipermasalahan sosial di sekitar lingkungan siswa. Problem Based Learning merupakansuatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang autentik dimana siswa diberikan masalah-masalahsosial yang ada dilingkunagan sehingga siswa membuat hubungan-hubungan yangdimilikinya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasilbelajar siswa kelas IV SDN Nglames 01 Kabupaten Madiun Jenis penelitian ini termasukpenelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis statistik signifikansiperbedaan pretest-posttest dengan Uji-t berpasangan untuk mengetahui signifikansipengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar antara pretest dengan posttest. Dari analisis statistikUji-t diperoleh hasil bahwa taraf signifikasi dengan sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05,artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan model Problem Based Learningterhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jadi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model ProblemBased Learning sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar pada materi masalah sosialsiswa kelas IV SDN Nglames 01 Kabupaten Madiun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki fenomena cyberbullying di lingkungan sekolah, terutama pada tingkat pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), serta platform digital utama yang terlibat, dengan fokus pada pemahaman dampaknya pada generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei yang melibatkan siswa dari berbagai sekolah di Indonesia sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil survei dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi temuan signifikan terkait cyberbullying di kalangan generasi muda. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa cyberbullying merupakan masalah serius dengan dampak fisik, psikologis, dan potensi kematian, terutama di platform media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan Snapchat. Generasi muda, terutama milenial dan generasi Z, rentan terhadap perundungan siber ini, menegaskan perlunya pendidikan etika digital yang dimulai sejak dini. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan kesadaran dan tindakan preventif di lingkungan pendidikan dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan online yang lebih aman dan mendukung bagi anak-remaja. Dalam mengatasi dampak cyberbullying, pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan berbagai teori penting seperti Teori Social Cognitive, konsep ketahanan, pola asuh responsif dan otoritatif, serta Teori Perkembangan menjadi strategi efektif dalam membantu anak-remaja menghadapi tantangan dunia digital yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social science in character education based on the Pancasila Student Profile (Profil Pelajar Pancasila). In accordance with the demands of the times and developments in people's lives including changes in the education curriculum, social studies learning must be returned in accordance with its latest conceptual framework which emphasizes interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary, with contextual and transformative, active and participatory learning in the perspective of social values. using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection carried out by literature study, observation, document analysis, and interviews. The results of the study show that in the social studies learning process, efforts should be made to include Pancasila values which are also currently in the context of the Merdeka curriculum already summarized in the Pancasila Student Profile which consists of dimensions of faith and piety to God Almighty and noble character, Global diversity, mutual cooperation, independent, creative, and able to reason critically. This is useful for the formation of student personality as a provision for living in society both as citizens and global citizens.
