Abstract

Lighting is one of the human basic needs that must be fullfiled. Compact fluorescent lamps is the most used lamp as source of lighting. However, they contain mercury, which is classified as heavy metals, that can potentially harm the environment. Even as mercury container, many people didnt know that. Many people dont know the method to handle the broken or used compact fluorescent lamp. They just dispose the broken compact fluorescent lamp to trash without considering the effect of mercury contained.Inverse Manufacturing concept is about designing product life cycle that aims to repair and reuse product components so that the negative impact can be reduced and minimized. In this research, the concept of Inverse Manufacturing is applied on handling the compact fluorescent lamp product in Bandung, West Java. The study is begun with designing the Inverse Manufacturing concept’s model by adding the step of collecting back (two scenarios), sorting, repairing, remanufacturing, and recycling into the life cycle of compact fluorescent lamp. The results of recycling rates of 15 Watt compact fluorescent lamp  (about 234 grams) starts from the lowest value,  and the maximum value are 27,51 % (64,366 grams),  and 27,61 % (64,609 grams). By applying this concept, the result are the reduction on the amount of compact fluorescent lamp waste dumped into the environment and the achievement of  the conservation of natural resources through the reuse of used components.

Abstract

The patterns of batik are strongly influenced by geographical location of the area of manufacture, the state of environment surrounding, and the flora and fauna. Sarolangun area which travesed by Batang Tembesi river makes people familiar with their natural environment. Seluang fish is small fish that Sarolangun endemic which are often waited its existence by the fishermen because of their habit swimming on the river surface in groups. The purpose of the research is to analyze batik patterns Seluang Mudik in Sarolangun regency, Jambi province. The method used in this research was qualitative with observation, interview, and document study as the technique of data collecting. The data validity used the technique of information triangulation from various sources, methods, and theories. The data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results show that batik motif Seluang Mudik that has various decoration Seluang fish that together swim to a destination to ease the burden against the flow when they immigrate to upstream. It closely relates to the identity of Sarolangun-Jambi society means the knitted togetherness. This togetherness can be found at the events held in society that always be together. One of them is in Lumbo Biduk event, hand in hand in Baralek event, and so on. Implications given by this research is that it can be beneficial for development of batik, for the society surrounding toward environment, for young generations to recognize culture in Sarolangun and for government to support regional potential.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang cepat telah mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pengelolaan inventaris. CV Sinar Rezeki Motor, sebuah perusahaan penjual suku cadang kendaraan bermotor, saat ini masih menggunakan sistem konvensional untuk mengelola inventory-nya. Sistem ini memiliki beberapa kelemahan, seperti kurangnya efektivitas, waktu pelacakan yang lama, dan risiko kehilangan atau kerusakan data manual. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi inventaris berbasis web guna meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan barang di CV Sinar Rezeki Motor. Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) digunakan dalam perancangan sistem ini untuk mempermudah pekerjaan dan meningkatkan kinerja operasional. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menyediakan informasi yang diperlukan secara cepat dan akurat, serta meningkatkan keamanan data inventaris. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan solusi praktis dan efisien bagi CV Sinar Rezeki Motor dalam mengelola inventaris, sesuai dengan kebutuhan teknologi modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis budaya visual yang ditampilkan oleh website Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) menggunakan pendekatan teori encoding dan decoding dari Stuart Hall (1999). Budaya visual dipahami sebagai representasi simbolik yang sarat makna dan mempengaruhi persepsi khalayk terhadap institusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melibatkan enam responden siswa-siswi SMAN 12 Merangin, Jambi yang mengakses dan dan memberi respon tampilan awal website UNP. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa khalayak memiliki beragam respon khalayak yakni dominan, negosiasi, oposisi.  Tampilan visual seperti ikon layanan digital, informasi akreditasi dan berita institusi dinilai mencerminkan citra professional dan birokratis. Sebagian responden menerima pesan visual seperti yang diharapkan oleh produsen (Universitas Negeri Padang) sementara lainnya menolak karena tampilan dianggap terlalu formal dan kurang menarik bagi generasi muda. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya visual pada website isntitusi dipengarudi oleh konteks sosial dan latar belakang pengguna. Oleh karena itu, strategi visual perlu adaptif terhadap kebutuhan khalayak digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan memahami pengalaman guru dalam mengintegrasi teknologi digital pada pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah menengah di Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, yang berfokus pada pemaknaan subjektifitas guru terhadap pengalaman mereka pada proses digitalisasi pembelajaran seni rupa.   Subjek penelitian terdiri dari sepuluh guru seni rupa dari berbagai sekolah menengah, baik negeri maupun swasta, yang berapa di berbagai wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan di Sumatera Selatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur, dokumentasi, dan observasi nonpartisipatif. Proses analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, identifikasi tema, dan interpretasi makna esensial berdasarkan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mengalami dinamika dalam proses integrasi teknologi digital, termasuk antusiasme terhadap media baru, tantangan keterbatasan infrastruktur, serta proses adaptasi dalam pendekatan pedagogis. Guru diwilayah perkotaan cenderung memiliki akses lebih luas terhadap perangkat dan platform digital, sementara guru di wilayah pedesaan menunjukkan kreatifitas dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya terbatas. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa guru seni rupa di sekolah menengah di Sumatera Selatan memiliki pemaknaan tentang integrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran seni rupa dalam empat tema besar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan pelatihan guru, kebijakan pendidikan, dan inovasi kurikulum diera digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggambar anatomi berdasarkan teori garis estetis William Hogarth di Program Studi Seni Rupa Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui klasifikasi gaya visual dalam kemampuan mahasiswa menggambar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah anatomi plastis, berdasarkan teori garis estetis Hogarth. Teori ini memperhatikan garis utama, yakni Line of Beauty (garis S yang dinamis). Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan masukan bagi dosen mata kuliah dalam membangun potensi sumber daya mahasiswa dalam menggambar anatomi plastis, serta memberi gambaran kepada mahasiswa dalam memilih teknik-teknik menggambar anatomi plastis yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, yaitu metode yang bertujuan menggambarkan suatu fenomena dengan data berupa angka, persentase, dan tabel distribusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampling total dengan populasi sebanyak 60 mahasiswa pendidikan seni rupa. Data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi karya mahasiswa dan observasi visual, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik klasifikasi garis serta penilaian penerapan prinsip estetika Hogarth. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa berada dalam kategori Line of Beauty, dengan variasi tingkat keluwesan dan kompleksitas garis. Mahasiswa yang mampu menggabungkan ketepatan proporsi dengan kelenturan garis cenderung menghasilkan karya yang sesuai dengan prinsip estetika Hogarth. Sementara itu, mahasiswa yang masih fokus pada ketepatan teknis sering kali menghasilkan garis yang lurus dan kaku.
