Abstract

Social media is essential for introducing Islamic educational institutions to the broader community. The presence of social media is beneficial and provides benefits for Islamic educational institutions in the digital publication of the educational services offered. This study aims to describe the use of social media as an effort for digital publications carried out by the Nurul Ulum Islamic boarding school Blitar City. This research uses a qualitative approach, and this type of research is descriptive. This study's data sources were Islamic boarding school caretakers, public relations schools, teaching boards, and administrative staff. This study used several data collection methods: participatory observation methods, in-depth interview methods, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study's results stated that the types of social media users at the Nurul Ulum Islamic boarding school included Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This research shows that YouTube is a social media often used as a digital publication. The purpose of using social media at the Nurul Ulum Islamic boarding school is as a medium of communication, media for promotion, and media to build institutional brands. The real implication of using social media is that the wider community increasingly recognizes the Nurul Ulum Islamic boarding school, the number of students is increasing yearly and has received broad public trust.

Abstract

Classroom action research was carried out because the percentage of student completion was only 59% of students whose scores met the KKM, with the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Fiqh learning it is hoped that it will be able to improve student learning outcomes in accordance with the learning objectives. The formulation of the research problem is how to implement fiqh learning using the PBL method and how to improve student learning outcomes in fiqh lessons using the PBL method at MI Miftahul Anwar Kurungrejo Prambon Nganjuk. This research uses the steps of preparing a plan, taking action, making observations, and doing reflection. The object of this research is MI class VI student Miftahul Anwar in the fiqh subject. The results of classroom action research are the application of the PBL learning method with several stages starting from preparing problems or problems that will be solved by students. The application of the PBL learning method is based on data obtained from cycles I and II. It can be seen that the application of the PBL learning model in Fiqh subjects can improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I the percentage of achieving the minimum completeness criteria was 70.59% and in cycle II the percentage of achieving the minimum completeness criteria was 94.18% > 90% so that with these data it can beconcluded that the success criteria for student learning outcomes research have been achieved.

Abstract

Kebijakan dalam pendidikan menjadi sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa pendidikan di Indonesia dapat berkembang secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi kebijakan untuk meningkatkan kondisi pendidikan secara menyeluruh. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Review Literature, Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber tertulis, termasuk artikel, dokumen, dan literatur terkait, yang kemudian dianalisis untuk menemukan strategi yang efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat fokus utama: (1) pengembangan kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan evaluasi sekolah, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran, (2) peningkatan aksesibilitas pendidikan melalui alokasi anggaran, beasiswa, dan insentif, sehingga pendidikan dapat diakses oleh semua lapisan masyarakat, (3) inovasi dalam pembelajaran seperti integrasi teknologi dan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yang bertujuan untuk membuat proses belajar mengajar lebih relevan dan menarik, (4) optimalisasi efisiensi pendidikan dengan transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan penggunaan data, untuk memastikan pengelolaan sumber daya yang efektif dan efisien. Implementasi kebijakan holistik ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi berbagai masalah pendidikan dan membentuk generasi yang kompeten untuk menghadapi era globalisasi, serta mendorong kemajuan bangsa secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) maintain their Islamic identity and institutional character amid the currents of digitalization and global competition through the implementation of brand image strategies. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, employing observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that PTKI successfully built a brand image by constructing a unique institutional narrative with distinct characteristics, strengthening networks through leaders, lecturers, and alums, and optimizing the use of digital media for communication and to broaden the institution's awareness. Furthermore, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted to assess the strategy's effectiveness. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of PTKI actively adapting to the demands of the times, without losing its ideological roots and traditional values. The implications of this research broaden the understanding of the application of brand image strategies in building institutional image, as well as the role of public networks in strengthening the existence of higher education in the digital era.
