Peningkatan jumlah lansia di masa yang akan datang dapat memberikan dampak positif dan negatif. Peningkatan jumlah lansia akan meningkat ketika kondisi lansia sehat, aktif dan produktif, namun di satu sisi dapat berdampak kurang baik ketika kondisi lansia mengalami penurunan kesehatan. Pada lansia banyak terjadi kemunduran, termasuk unsur kemampuan fisik, seperti kelenturan atau kelenturan. Rentang gerak sendi yang terbatas akan membatasi kelenturan atau kelenturan yang mengakibatkan terbatasnya aktivitas fungsional. Memasuki usia lanjut akan mengalami penurunan fisik, penurunan fisik akan mengakibatkan penurunan massa otot dan kelenturan. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada lansia di Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta adalah pengetahuan lansia tentang informasi penurunan fleksibilitas masih rendah sehingga dapat mengganggu aktivitas lansia sehari-hari. Selain itu, kesadaran lansia akan penurunan fleksibilitas dapat meningkatkan risiko jatuh pada lansia. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, solusi yang ditawarkan kepada kelompok mitra adalah memberikan sosialisasi guna meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang risiko penurunan fleksibilitas dan memeriksa penurunan fleksibilitas pada lansia. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu, 30 Maret 2022 di Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat diberikan kepada kader lansia di Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta dengan jumlah peserta 68 orang. Dari 68 peserta, 8 di antaranya memiliki skor fleksibilitas otot hamstring yang baik. Sedangkan 60 lainnya mengalami penurunan kelenturan otot hamstring dengan kisaran nilai 140-160 derajat. Namun peserta sangat antusias mengikuti latihan yang telah diajarkan.

Latar Belakang; Seiring bertambahnya usia banyak perubahan yang terjadi pada lansia salah satunya penurunan fungsi fisiologis yang mengakibatkan terjadinya gangguan degeneratif yaitu penurunan fungsi keseimbangan dan peningkatan resiko jatuh. Angka kejadian jatuh pada pasien dengan usia lebih dari 65 tahun sebesar 30 %, dan usia lebih dari 80 tahun sebesar 50 % setiap tahunnya. Salah satu modalitas fisioterapi dalam kasus ini dengan pemberian latihan. Otago Home Exercise Programme adalah program latihan untuk lansia yang didesain khusus untuk mengurangi kejadian jatuh, dengan cara meningkatkan kekuatan anggota gerak bawah, meningkatkan keseimbangan dan memberikan latihan jalan. Tujuan; Mengetahui adanya pengaruh Otago Home Exercise Programme terhadap penurunan resiko jatuh pada lansia. Metode; Penelitian kuantitatif jenis pre-experimental design dengan teknik one group pre-test dan post-test design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 17 lansia. Instrument penelitian menggunakan TUG (Time Up and Go test). Hasil; Hasil uji Wilcoxon diketahui bahwa data dari nilai TUG sebelum dan sesudah diberikan otago home exercisi programme diperoleh signifikansi sebesar p=0,025 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan; Terdapat pengaruh pemberian otago home exercise programme terhadap penurunan resiko jatuh pada lansia di Panti ‘Aisyiyah Sumber Baluarti Surakarta.

The elderly experience physiological changes that cause balance and anxiety disorders, it is important to provide a combination exercise program that can maximize balance while reducing anxiety. The purpose of the study was to find out that the combination of balance twelve exercises with hatha yoga can maximize dynamic balance and reduce anxiety in the elderly. Experimental research, with pretest and posttest control group design. The research sample amounted to 28 pre-elderly who were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Divided into Group 1 is given hatha yoga, and Group 2 is given a combination of balance twelve exercises with hatha yoga. Training for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week. Measurement of balance with the Berg balance scale, and measurement of anxiety with the Hamilton anxiety rating scale. The results of the balance value of Group 2 p> 0.000 with a mean difference and a percentage increase of 6.86±0.663 (15.50 %). for anxiety, the results were p> 0.001 with a mean difference and a decreasing percentage of 4.64±1.82 (50.76%). In the balance of Group 1, the results were p>0.000 with a mean difference and a percentage increase of 4.50±0.519 (10.51%) for anxiety, the results were p>0.000 with a mean difference and a percentage decrease of 1.85±0.363 (20.08%). It can be concluded that the combination of balance twelve exercises with hatha yoga maximizes dynamic balance and reduces anxiety.

The aging process in the elderly has an effect on the decline of various functions of body systems. The increase in the number of the elderly population is something that needs to be watched out for this can result in an increase in the incidence of non-contagious chronic conditions, an increase in morbidity and disability. The aging process that occurs in the elderly is also related to various problems in the elderly. The development of technology and creativity in the field of physiotherapy leads to develop community service programs in the field of geriatric physiotherapy. Community service with the theme of knowing and preparing succesfull ageing aims to develop, maintain and restore body movement and function in the elderly. The method used in this service is to increase the knowledge of elderly cadres about the preparations that need to be known in realizing succesfull ageing when entering old the knowledge gained by elderly cadres in this activity is expected to be applied and change the behavior of elderly people in order to realize full ageing success. Physiological changes in the elderly occur related to skeletal muscle changes and are related to the balance of the fall risk assessment. Therefore, researchers provide Square Stepping, Gaze stabilization, and Core stability exercise interventions to improve dynamic balance. Square stepping exercise is an exercise to improve lower extremity functional fitness. Gaze Stabilization is an exercise to improve balance by way of cooperation between the vestibular system and the visual system. While Core Stability is a special exercise intended to help improve abdominal and lumbo pelvic muscles in trunk stability. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in the effect between the combination of Square stepping and Gaze stabilization exercise with Square stepping and Core stability exercise on improving dynamic balance in the elderly. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi experimental type of research. The sample amounted to 30 respondents with a purposive sampling technique. Measurement of dynamic balance using TUGT. The Square Stepping intervention was carried out 3 times a week for 4 weeks, Gaze Stabilisation was carried out 3 times a week for 4 weeks and Core Stability was carried out 2 times a week for 4 weeks. Based on the Mann-Whitney Test using the TUGT measurement instrument, a significance value of 0.034 (p 0.05) was obtained. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in the effect between giving square stepping and gaze stabilization with square stepping and core stability exercise on improving dynamic balance in the elderly.

A pattern of muscle imbalance is seen clinically in osteoarthritis. Quadriceps weakness has been identified as a cause of osteoarthritis in the genu, indicating a link between muscle imbalance and osteoarthritis. The DNS approach aims to exploit brain plasticity and reactivate the patient's dormant natural motor patterns, stimulating global motor reactions and minimizing muscle imbalance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of giving dynamic neuromuscular stabilization exercise on pain reduction in the elderly with genu osteoarthritis. This type of research is quantitative: a quasi-experimental pre-post test with a control group design non random sampling with a sample of 50 subjects divided into two groups, namely 25 experimental groups and 25 control groups. The research instruments used closed questionnaires, structured interviews, and pain measurements with NRS. Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise intervention was carried out twice a week for 4 weeks. Data processing in this study used SPSS software program version 26. Data analysis was carried out in the form of a data normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test because the number of subjects was 50 (≥50) people, and the differential effect test used was the Mann-Whitney Test because the data was not normally distributed. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in influence between the experimental group and the control group of NRS values of p=0.044. There is an effect on the experimental group, and there is a difference in the effect on the experimental group compared to the control group. For future research, it is hoped that if you want to use the same DNS exercise, choose a different dose from this study so that you can see the difference in results and have a newer reference from a different dose.

Latar belakang: World Health Organization (WHO) memperkirakan pada tahun 2015 - 2050 penduduk yabg berusia 60 tahun ke atas mengalami meningkat dari 12% menjadi 22%. Data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menyebutkan bahwa pada tahun 2010 penduduk lansia meningkat dari 18 juta jiwa (7,6%) menjadi 27 juta jiwa (10%) pada tahun 2020. Penuaan tidak hanya berhubungan dengan perubahan fisik / biologis. Tahap ini juga berhubungan dengan perubahan dalam kehidupan seseorang. Salah satu problema psikologis yang sering terjadi pada lansia yaitu adanya kesepian. Tujuan: untuk melihat faktor yang paling berpengaruh pada kesepian lansia. Metode: Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik. Penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh lansia di Kelurahan Bedoro sebanyak 1.329 orang. Sampel adalah 10% dari total populasi yaitu sebanyak 133 lansia. Analisis fackor yang paling berhubungan dengan menggunakan uji regresi logistic. Hasil: Semua variable mempunyai nila signifikansi di atas 0,05. Tidak ada korelasi antara Usia, jenis kelamin, kondisi psikologis dan spiritualitas dengan kesepian lansia. Nilai Odd rasio terbesar adalah kondisi psikologis, mempunyai pengaruh lebih banyak 4,079 kali terhadap kesepian lansia. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada korelasi antara Usia, jenis kelamin, kondisi psikologis dan spiritualitas dengan kesepian lansia. Kondisi psikologis mempunyai pengaruh lebih banyak 4,079 kali terhadap kesepian lansia.

Elderly people at the Kenanga 1 elderly posyandu who were given core stability exercises and chair base exercises. This type of quasi-experimental research is a two group pre and post test design approach, with a sample size of 50 people measured using the modified Schober test. From the test results using the wilcoxon sig value. Amoundted to 0,001(sig,<0,005) there wasan infulance of the core stability exercise treatment group, while the wilcoxon tets in the chair based exercise group resulted in a sig equal to 0,001(sig<0,005) there is influence on the chair based exercise treatment group. Man Whitney, a value of 0.210 (sig, > 0.05) was obtained, which means there was no difference in effect between the chair based exercise and core stability exercise groups. There is no significant difference between the core stability exercise and chair based exercise groups.
