Abstract

The Implementation of the Supervision of Hindu Religious Education is an act done by the Supervisors of Hindu Religious Education in order to be able to achieve the established goals, one of the aims is to improve the performance of Hindu Religious Education Teachers in improving the quality of education. Supervision in improving the performance of Hindu Religious Education Teachers in an effort to improve the quality of education is inseparable from the existence of an action to achieve the goal by utilizing the existing elements. In the supervisory action conducted by the Supervisor of Hindu Education on Hindu Religious Education Teachers, there are factors that hinder the implementation of the Hindu Religious Education Supervisory strategy. Inhibiting factors may arise from the Supervisors of Hindu Religious Education, Hindu Religious Education Teachers, as well as from the policy of supervisors.

Abstract

The development of the quality of education in Indonesia should be done together not only for the government and educators but to the community, because the community has an important role to achieve a goal of educationquality. In fact in the field of our education system fully devolved public education students or learners to teachers. This can be caused by a lack of public understanding of the importance of the role of the community in education.

Abstract

The character education refers to the efforst to bring up the children to be mature with good ethics and morales. In Hindu, the education is setting the foundation, orientation, and perspectives that could be used mentally and spiritually for the character building. The mental toughness is related to the intelectuality as well as the personality that could avoid negativity and keep on progressing and understanding the tests of life. Spirituality is related to the belief in God, developing the devotion to Him, and taking any works as a service to Him. With these all Hindus may always do good deeds and compete through ages.

Abstract

The theories in education are reflections of both the Renaissance and modern era. In the history of science the discrepancy between the epistemology of the Rationalism, Empiricism, Positivism, and Saintism have become the major interest. The first theory of modern education is the Humanismand the post classical ones which include Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Humanismand Cybernetics.

Abstract

Lontar is one form of ancient manuscripts (manuscripts) that exist in the archipelago. Lontar is commonly found on the island of Bali, especially in Griya Agung Puri Tegaltamu, Br. Tegaltamu, Batubulan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency is a priceless heritage. Therefore, it is necessary to preserve the manuscript through conservation activities and identification of both physical and content. Based on the results of the activities carried out on 49 lontar manuscripts. The identified characters can be classified into several types of text groups. Identification is obtained after all the lontar manuscripts are preserved and can be read clearly.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap keberadaan pasraman formal Adi Widya. Pasraman Gurukula Bangli dengan segala bentuk dan pola pembelajarannya, berimplikasi pada rendahnya minat masyarakat untuk menyekolahkan anak-anaknya pada lembaga pendidikan ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami manajemen pendidikan pasraman formal Adi Widya Pasraman Gurukula Bangli, untuk menganalisis kendala dan upaya penanggulangan masalah manajemennya, dan menkonstruksi manajemen pendidikannya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi teori fungsional struktural, teori behaviorisme dan teori kontruktivisme. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, yang menggunakan data berupa wacana, hasil wawancara dan observasi dengan narasi sistematis. Penentuan informan dipilih dengan snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah teknik kepustakaan, teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik dokumentasi. Metode penyajian hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskritif atau analisa deskritif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Manajemen pendidikan pasarman formal Adi Widya Pasraman Gurukula Bangli dirancang untuk meningkatkan kualitas peserta didik pasraman, yang meliputi manajemen perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Manajemen pendidikan pasraman formal Adi Widya Pasraman Gurukula Bangli pada hakekatnya sama dengan lembaga pendidikan formal lainnya, namun di lembaga ini menerapkan kurikulum keagamaan, dan juga mengupayakan pola pembinaan Budi Pekerti pada murid. Kendala dalam pelaksanaannya meliputi, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, pelayanan proses pendidikan, terbatasnya sumber pendanaan dan seringnya perubahan kebijakan. Sedangkan upaya mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan Manajemen pendidikannya adalah dengan peningkatan kopetensi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, mengupayakan pemenuhan sarana prasarana, dan peningkatan kesadaran komunal. Konstruksi manajemen pendidikan Adi Widya Pasraman Gurukula Bangli meliputi tiga aspek pokok yakni: konstruksi personal, konstruksi sosial dan konstruksi budaya.

Abstract

Hindu religion teacher are axpacted to perform at their best in their teaching practices, inorder to produce students with good spiritual quality and character. However, entering the 5.0 erabrings many dynamics in the education space tha pose challenges to the learning process of Hindureligion by Hindu teacher, including demanding the extence of school principals to contribute to theperformance of Hindu religion teachers. This also occurs at SMP Negeri 1 Tembuku as one of theeducational institutions in Bangli Regency, Bali. The data in this study is sourced from primary andsecondary data, which is collected by observation techniques, interviews, documentation studies andliterature. The collected data was then analyzed with leadership theory, integrative constructiontheory and achievement motivation theory. The results of the study are then described descriptively.The results of this study are as follows: first, the academic supervision of the school principal inmotivating the performance of Hindu religion teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Tembuku Bangli begins withplanning and realizing performance targets. Second, the strengthening of the academic supervisionprocess of the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Tembuku Bangli is achieved through collaborationregardless of professional background or work culture, intense communication with internal andexternal parties of the school, and establishing contexts to facilitate the development targets of Hindureligion teachers. The third implications of academic supervision are the development of Hinducognition, emotional stability, and real actions to achieve optimal performance. The analysis isbeneficial to inspire the movement of supervision and the advancement of Hindu religious teachers'performance in all junior high school units. It can be concluded that through academic supervision,the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Tembuku is able to provide motivation both morally and through theacademic administration system towards improving the quality of Hindu religious teachers'performance.
