Abstract

The research was aim to know pedagogic competence teachers’ and factors relating to the competence of teachers. The population in this study are all biology teachers at 20 schools. The research sample as many as 34 teachers of biology. Data was collected by observation sheet, assessment lesson plan sheet, teacher questionnaire and data analyze were qualitative descriptive.The result revealed teacher pedagogic competence in arrange lesson plan was 11 persons (32.35%) categorized very good, 23 persons (67,65%) is good and the total average value 80,32 is good. Learning performance was 14 persons (41,18%) categorized very good and 20 persons (58,82%) is good and the total average value 80,68 is good.Factors that influence the pedagogical competence of teachers is level education background with compile lesson plan was 0.037, frequency certification acceptance was 0.025. An frequency activity of MGMP with learning performance was 0.012.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know whether there was a significant influence between mirror mastery on student’s achievement in light subject at twelfth grade student’s of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. The population of this research was all the twelfth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan which include 3 classes or 75 students. By applying total sampling techbique, the writer took 101 students as the sample. In colleting the data, the writer used test. Based on the result of this research, mirror mastery had the average 53,20, it was categorized “fair”. While the students achievement in light subject had the average 61,70, it was categorized “enough”. Based on statistics analysis calcution, it could be gotten rcount = 0,622, in error level significant 5%, confident level significant 95%, df = N – 2 = 75-2=73. it could be gotten that ttable = 0,228. It could be seen that tcount was greater ttable (0,622>0,228). The alternative hypothesis was accepted. It maens that there was a significant influence between mirror mastery on students achievement in light subject at the twelfth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 padangsidimpuan

Abstract

Based on this study, the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education (PAK) for seventh-grade students at SMP Santo Antonius Bangun Mulia Medan will be evaluated for its effectiveness using the CORE Learning Model. Over two research cycles, 26 students participated in this action research using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. In addition to tracking the learning process, data were collected through pre- and post-tests. Empirical evidence shows that the CORE Learning Model can significantly improve student learning outcomes. Cycle I obtained an average post-test score of 88.2, while Cycle II obtained an average post-test score of 96.3. Compared to the previous average pre-test scores of 63.3 and 89, these figures indicate progress. These findings are consistent with previous research showing the effectiveness of the CORE Learning Model in increasing student engagement and academic performance. The conclusion of this study is that the CORE Learning Model can serve as a tool to enhance student learning outcomes in PAK and promote the development of more engaging and effective teaching strategies. This research aims to assist academics and educators in developing innovative and effective teaching methods.
