Abstract

Educational innovation itself is a new change that is sought to improve learning in order to achieve goals in education, educational innovation is sought as a reference for a better education movement. With educational innovation, it is hoped that it will be able to solve educational problems and realize quality education in the future. This paper aims to describe educational innovation as a solution to education problems and Indonesia's readiness to solve educational problems. In Indonesia, readiness to face educational challenges is carried out by increasing the knowledge and skills of human resources through educational innovation. Education management policies in Indonesia currently encourage all levels of education, especially higher education, to take advantage of advances in digital technology in the modern era. In today's digital era, technology can be used as a driving factor for the success of educational innovation with the presence of sophisticated technology that can encourage the achievement of educational reform goals. In addition to the use of technology in the modern era, it is necessary to innovate learning methods that can make it easier for students to understand learning materials, so as to improve the quality of education in Indonesia!

Abstract

The school library is a very necessary means by the provider of educational institutions as a material container and resource for teachers and students. Therefore, a good quality library will have a good impact on its students. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of PAI teachers in using school libraries as a means of learning in SMP TAKHASSUS AL-QUR’AN, knowing the supporting factors and inhibiting factors PAI teacher in using the chool library. This time the research uses qualitative methods, where the method used is not using data but a sentence or a picture, that is, by doing observations, interviews and documentation. As for the results of the research showed that PAI teacher has been very good in performing his role as a teacher in utilizing the school library that is by growing students interest in reading by using the library as a place and means of learning other than in the classroom, giving the student the task to find material to be discussed, read and discussed both in group and individually. As for the constraints in the library only lack of duration, due to PAI lesson hours at the end of the lesson and the majority of students in SMP TAKHASSUS AL-QUR’AN live in the neighborhood of Pondok Pesantren.

Abstract

The low level of religious literacy among students poses a challenge in Islamic education, particularly in shaping religious character. Islamic Education teachers play an important role in instilling values and guiding students to comprehensively understand and practice the teachings of Islam. This study aims to examine the role and strategies of Islamic Education teachers in enhancing students' religious literacy at SMP Takhassus Al-Qur'an Kalibeber, Wonosobo. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers function as educators, guides, facilitators, and role models. The main strategies implemented include reading the classical book Al-Ibriz every morning, habituation of worship, contextual learning, and the implementation of as well as the utilization of school libraries. Supporting factors include the religious culture in schools and pesantren programs, while inhibiting factors include the limited reading materials and the low interest in reading among students.
