Abstract

Criminal acts often occur in recent times. In addition, each company also needs to create an instrument in the attendance administration process. Computer vision method by using human faces is used in this research. The method in this research is divided into three parts, namely data collection, analytical, and prototypes methods. To get maximum system design results, at least an analysis is needed to determine the system requirements. At the system design stage, the system is designed with images such as flowcharts and block diagrams. Testing using black box gets several evaluation results. The door lock system uses the facial recognition method, by matching the face image with the database that has been saved from the camera module captures. All data displayed in a web based application. This research is expected to assist companies in creating an automated attendance system, so that it can be useful as assisting companies in maintaining employee discipline and office security.

Abstract

All companies want a better attendance system which can increase the level of employee discipline in attendance. In this case, a problem must be sought for a solution and requires facilities or design in the form of a presence system that can facilitate attendance and reduce the occurrence of errors and fraud. This research develops the system as a solution to the problem of the presence system that already exists today with the presence system with face recognition. Raspberry Pi is used as a microcomputer to perform data processing to activate a webcam that will detect faces when motion has been detected by the PIR sensor as input and design using the Python programming language that is run on the Raspbian operating system platform. The purpose of this study is to be able to implement a system that can read employee faces to input attendance in real time. Keywords: Presence, Raspberry, Face Recognition, Webcam, Python

Abstract

Social media platforms, particularly Twitter, are frequently employed by individuals to articulate their opinions on various subjects in textual form. The proliferation of viewpoints from diverse sources can influence public perceptions on these topics. The greater the popularity of a topic, the more abundant the opinions generated. Currently, the most widely discussed topic is the 2024 Indonesian presidential election. Sentiment analysis, or opinion mining, is an academic discipline that examines sentiments towards a given entity, while text mining involves the extraction of information through processing, classifying, and analyzing extensive datasets. This study will utilize data crawling techniques to gather data from Twitter which will subsequently undergo preprocessing and cleaning. Following this, the cleaned data will be classified by sentiment (positive, negative, or neutral) using a pre-trained language model (BERT) and Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK). The classified data will then be visualized with tools such as Matplotlib and Wordcloud to elucidate the data distribution.

Abstract

Early detection of COVID-19 transmission relies heavily on taking a body temperature reading. The use of touch-based methods for measuring core body temperature increases the risk of infection at SMPN 1 Mekar Baru. Data collecting, block diagrams, analyses, prototypes, and tests are all used in this study. The GY-906 sensor and the Infrared Obstacle sensor are used in the creation of an automatic hand sanitizer and thermometer, respectively; the Node Mcu V3 processes the data. The 20x4 Lcd layer is next in line to display the data. The goal of this study is to develop an automatic body temperature detector that can send data to the officer's smartphone by way of the blynk app. Automatic controls, monitoring, and alerts eliminate the need for a human officer to be present.

Abstract

Burung adalah salah satu binatang dari beberapa hama atau hewan perusak yang terdapat pada area persawahan. Luasnya area menjadi perhatian khusus bagi petani. Oleh karena itu petani menggunakan peralatan-peralatan tradisional seperti tali plastik dan orang-orangan sawah untuk mengusir hama tersebut. Tentu saja cara pengusiran ini butuh dukungan dari teknologi terbaru, dikarenakan masih terlihat adanya hama burung yang mengganggu area persawahan, dan akhirnya mengakibatkan produktivitas hasil panen yang tidak optimal. Sebuah metode dengan automasi yang cerdas dibutuhkan sebagai jawaban dari kesulitan yang dialami selama ini oleh para petani. Penerapan sistem pengusir burung secara otomatis dengan cara mendeteksi keberadaan burung serta teknik pengusiran memanfaatkan frekuensi suara yang tidak disukai oleh burung, diharapkan dapat mengusir hama burung. Perancangan purwarupa Bird repellent device bekerja dengan cara memanfaatkan teknik computer vision melalui sensor kamera untuk menangkap objek burung dalam setiap frame, kemudian diproses oleh Raspberry Pi. Setelah objek tertangkap pada kamera maka Raspberry Pi mengaktifkan aktuator berupa frekuensi suara.

Abstract

Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) merupakan teknologi yang bertujuan untuk mengenali kondisi emosional seseorang berdasarkan sinyal suara. Seiring dengan kemajuan dalam bidang machine learning dan deep learning, akurasi dan efisiensi sistem SER semakin meningkat melalui penggunaan fitur akustik canggih seperti MFCC, GFCC, BFCC, Cochleagram, dan Hilbert Spectrum. Penelitian ini menganalisis pendekatan teknis yang digunakan dalam pengembangan SER berdasarkan studi literatur dari lima artikel ilmiah terpilih. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi CNN dengan attention mechanism, serta penerapan auto-encoder untuk reduksi dimensi, mampu meningkatkan performa klasifikasi emosi secara signifikan. Selain itu, implementasi sistem SER pada perangkat portabel seperti Raspberry Pi menunjukkan potensi besar dalam pemantauan psikologis berbasis suara. Namun, aspek keamanan masih menjadi tantangan serius, terutama dalam mendeteksi suara palsu atau hasil sintesis. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan SER masa depan perlu memperhatikan integrasi antara akurasi teknis, efisiensi komputasi, keamanan digital, serta aspek etika dan privasi pengguna.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi perawatan taman di MI Sabilussalam, Pasarkemis, Kabupaten Tangerang, melalui penerapan sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dan energi surya. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model sekuensial, yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sistem dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 untuk mengontrol dan membaca sensor kelembaban tanah, sensor hujan, sensor intensitas cahaya (LDR), dan sensor tegangan baterai. Pompa air diaktifkan secara otomatis saat tanah kering dan tidak ada hujan. Data lingkungan dikirimkan secara real-time ke dashboard berbasis web melalui koneksi Wi-Fi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berlangsung selama Mei hingga Juli di lingkungan sekolah. Sistem yang dibangun sepenuhnya menggunakan energi dari panel surya 10 WP dan baterai 12 V 7 Ah, dirancang hemat energi, tahan cuaca, dan mudah dioperasikan tanpa pelatihan khusus. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi secara responsif dan aman, serta dapat diakses melalui antarmuka web yang kompatibel dengan berbagai perangkat. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya kesadaran teknologi di kalangan guru dan siswa, serta efisiensi dalam penggunaan air dan energi dalam pemeliharaan taman sekolah secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research presents the design and development of an automatic fish feeder based on the Internet of Things (IoT), integrated with the Telegram application. The device is intended to assist fish farmers, particularly those farming catfish, in feeding their fish automatically or remotely while away. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method, utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model in the system development process. The stages include requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is capable of dispensing feed automatically based on a predefined schedule using an RTC module, and it enables control and monitoring through commands sent via a Telegram bot. Testing results indicate that the system operates effectively, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of fish feeding. The implementation of this device is expected to serve as an innovative solution to support productivity and sustainability in modern catfish farming practices.

Abstract

The gacha mechanism is analyzed as a contemporary form of maysir (gambling) and gharar (uncertainty) that are forbidden, as they involve spending real treasures to acquire virtual items at random with low probability. The research uses a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach with content analysis methods and in-depth interviews with Islamic legal experts. The results of the study show that gacha not only contradicts sharia principles, but also negatively impacts the consumptive, spiritual, and socio-economic behavior of players, especially generation Z. Evaluation based on sharia maqashid reveals that gacha threatens five main goals of sharia: religion, intellect, property, descent, and honor. The implications of the research emphasize the importance of strict regulation, probability transparency, Islamic financial literacy education, and the development of a more ethical game monetization model.
