Abstract

This qualitative descriptive research was conducted at the Sub-district Office, Alang-alang Lebar Palembang. In collecting the research data, interviews with informants, observation activities and documentation studies were carried out. This research found information that the Sub-district head as the leader had played a good role in improving employees` discipline at the sub-district office Alang-alang Lebar Palembang. The Interpersonal role was carried out by providing model of discipline and giving motivation to his employees. In the informational role, the sub-district head gave freedom in spreading responsible information and conveyed information to his employees in easy way to understand. Furthermore, the role of decision-making showed that the Sub-district head provided opportunities for all employees to be involved and participated in the decision-making process. In addition, there were factors which influenced the increase in employee discipline at the Sub-district Office Alang-alang Lebar Palembang. They were, first, the lack of employees' awareness of obeying the rules. Second, the lack of support in the form of employee promotions. Third, the lack of quality human resources within the organization.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented serious challenges for small industry players in Indonesia, forcing them to respond with innovation to survive. In this context, collaborative innovation with small industry players is the key to creating shared value and responding to rapid economic changes. This research aims to deepen understanding of the role of innovation with small industry players during the COVID-19 period in Indonesia, exploring how this collaboration forms a business ecosystem, creates shared value, and contributes to sustainable economic growth. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, involving in-depth interviews with small industry players, documentation analysis and case studies. Data is collected and analyzed to identify patterns, trends and impacts of collaborative innovation during COVID-19. The research results show that innovation with small industry players in Indonesia during the COVID-19 period has created a strong collaborative ecosystem. This collaboration not only responds to crises, but also forms the foundation for sustainable growth. Sharing knowledge, operational efficiency through collaboration, and the use of digital technology are the main pillars in creating shared value amidst uncertainty.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted to determine the effect of supervision on employee work discipline at PT PLN (Persero) Palembang area. The aim of this research is to determine and test whether there is an influence of supervision on employee work discipline at PT PLN (Persero) Palembang Area. The data collection technique used in this research was through distributing questionnaires to 60 employees of PT PLN (Persero) Palembang Area. Data analysis in this research is quantitative and uses the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) Version 22 program. Data testing techniques in this research include validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression tests, correlation coefficient tests, and t tests. Based on data processing, the simple linear regression equation obtained for the variable supervision (X) on work discipline (Y) is Y= 23.508+0.450, and the correlation coefficient (R) value between supervision (X) and work discipline (Y) is 0.564. where this value is a fairly positive value between supervision (X) and work discipline (Y). Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, tcount = 5.207. With a significant value of (0.000 < α 0.05). This means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the supervision variable has a significant influence on the employee work discipline variable. Keywords : Supervision and work discipline ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pengawasan Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Karyawan pada PT PLN (Persero) Area Palembang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menguji ada tidaknya Pengaruh Pengawasan Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Karyawan pada PT PLN (Persero) Area Palembang. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 60 orang karyawan PT PLN (Persero) Area Palembang. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) Versi 22. Teknik pengujian data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, uji regresi linier sederhana, uji koefisien korelasi, dan uji t. Berdasarkan pengolahan data diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana untuk variabel pengawasan (X) terhadap disiplin kerja (Y) adalah Y= 23,508+0,450, dan diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (R) antara pengawasan (X) terhadap disiplin kerja (Y) adalah sebesar 0,564, dimana nilai tersebut merupakan nilai yang cukup positif antara pengawasan (X) terhadap disiplin kerja (Y). Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh thitung = 5,207. Dengan nilai signifikan sebesar (0,000 < α 0,05). Artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian variabel pengawasan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel disiplin kerja karyawan. Keywords : Pengawasan dan disipilin kerja

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of career development on employee work motivation at PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) South Sumatra Branch. The data used is primary data analysis by observing and filling out questionnaires. The population is all employees of PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) South Sumatra Branch. The total population in this study was 68 respondents. Analysis techniques include correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing with the t test. The correlation coefficient equation of 0.397 means low. The coefficient of determination is 15.76%. The results of simple linear regression research show that Y = 18.783+0.457 Jasa Raharja (Persero) South Sumatra Branch. The research results show a relationship between career development and work motivation of employees of PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) South Sumatra Branch. is low with a correlation coefficient of 0.397%, the contribution of career development to employee work motivation is 15.76% and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. The simple linear regression equation is Y = 18.783 + 0.457. Keywords: Career Development, Work Motivation ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah Pengaruh Pengembangan Karir terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan pada PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Sumatera Selatan. Data yang digunakan analisis data primer dengan melakukan observasi dan isi kuesioner. Populasi adalah semua karyawan PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Sumatera Selatan. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 68 responden. Teknik analisis meliputi koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t. Persamaan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,397 berarti rendah. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 15,76%. Menunjukan hasil penelitian regresi linier sederhana adalah Y = X dan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dan taraf nyata 5% diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Sumatera Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hubungan antara pengembangan karir terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Sumatera Selatan. adalah rendah dengan koefisien korelasi 0,397%, kontribusi pengembangan karir terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan sebesar 15,76% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Persamaan regresi linier sederhana adalah Y = 18,783 + 0,457 X serta kesimpulan hipotesis bahwa ada pengaruh Pengembangan karir terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan pada PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Sumatera Selatan. Abstract

Dynamics of Consumer Payment Preferences: Exploring the Role of Mental Accounting in Per-Use Service Fees is an interesting topic in the study of consumer behavior. This research aims to understand how mental accounting influences consumer payment preferences in the context of per-use service fees. The concept of mental accounting encompasses the way individuals process financial information and make purchasing decisions based on their mental representation of financial circumstances. Per-use service fees offer a payment model that allows consumers to pay based on their actual usage, which is considered more fair and efficient. However, consumer payment preferences are also influenced by psychological factors such as perceived value, control, and fairness. Qualitative research and content analysis are used to explore the dynamics of consumer payment preferences in this context. The results show that mental accounting plays an important role in how consumers evaluate and choose per-use service rates. Psychological factors such as perceived value, control, and fairness also influence consumer payment preferences. The implication of these findings is the importance of paying attention to psychological factors in designing effective tariff strategies and understanding complex consumer behavior. By understanding how mental accounting and other psychological factors influence consumer payment preferences, business practitioners can develop more effective marketing strategies and increase consumer satisfaction in an increasingly dynamic and competitive marketplace.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, companies are faced with increasingly complex challenges in managing the work environment for both employees and robots, as well as formulating effective marketing strategies. Digital spatiotemporal dynamics affect various aspects of human resource management (HRM), including recruitment, development, talent retention, and the interaction between humans and machines in the workplace. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the impact of these dynamics on HRM to create an optimal work environment and effective marketing strategies. This research aims to analyze the impact of digital spatiotemporal dynamics on human resource management, particularly in the context of optimizing the work environment for employees and robots, as well as relevant marketing strategies. The main objective is to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by organizations in managing these dynamics, and to formulate best practices in addressing these changes. The research method employed in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through a literature review of relevant sources, including journals, articles, and related books. Analysis was conducted by summarizing and synthesizing findings from various sources, as well as identifying patterns and trends that emerge in the context of optimizing the work environment for employees, robots, and marketing strategies in digital spatiotemporal dynamics. The results of the study indicate that digital spatiotemporal dynamics have a significant impact on human resource management. Digital transformation has changed the way organizations recruit, develop, and retain talent, as well as interact with customers through adaptive and innovative marketing strategies. Challenges include integrating complex technologies, data protection, and the need for new digital skills, while opportunities include increased operational efficiency, personalized content, and access to global markets.

Abstract

Brand Awareness dan Brand Loyalty merupakan faktor yang cukup penting dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian, dalam penelitian ini adalah produk deodorant Rexona di Kota Palembang. Persentasi didapat dari iklan deodorant Rexona di media sosial Youtube dan Instagram sebesar 54% dari responden yang sangat setuju untuk membeli produk deodorant Rexona setelah melihat iklan dari Youtube dan Instagram. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari Brand Awareness dan Brand Loyalty terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Populasi mencakup seluruh konsumen perempuan maupun laki-laki dari umur 12 sampai 50 tahun yang memutuskan untuk menggunakan produk deodorant Rexona di Kota Palembang. Besaran sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 272 orang dikarenakan populasi tidak terhingga, dengan error level 10% atau 0,1. Dalam pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan baik secara simultan maupun parsial Brand Awareness berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,788 atau 78,8% dan sisanya 21,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 78,8% keputusan pembelian dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Brand Awareness dan Brand Loyalty. Sedangkan 21,2% dari dua variabel, variabel Brand Awareness (X1) sebesar 7,8% dan variabel Brand Loyalty (X2) sebesar 71,0%.
