Abstract

Construction failure is not uncommon as the construction industry is very complex, where many parties involved and processes take place in an open space. The construction failure and the building failure might be caused by either the technical or non-technical factors. The non-technical factors mostly derive from the lack of resources competence in the business entities, the employee skill, and the expertise. This paper discusses the mutual relationship between the SBU (Business Entity Competence), the SKA and the SKT (Man power Competence), and the Construction failure. This research is conducted to analyse the construction failure from the perspective of the resources competence with regard to specially the SBU, the SKA, the SKT, where as the aims of this research is to indentify the non-technical factors causing the construction failure and the building failure in Central of Jawa, and also to analyse the contributions of the SBU and the SKA and the SKT toward the Construction failure. The factors that influence the failure was measured in the qualitative model and simulated with the LPS method using the causal relationship approaches between the variables supported by the TETRAD program IV vertion 4.3.9-18. The result of the research reveals that the failure variable are structurally affected by the SBU variable 0,1181, by the SKT variable at 0,0501, and by the SKT for 0,0250. The test processes of the SBU, the SKA, and the SKT has not been implemented properly so that the certificates issue can not yet be justified. The resource conditions in the district and the city around the project area are still troublesome, such as lack of the man power having the SKT, and the SKT, and there are many skilled workers that have not got the competence test.

Abstract

Kondisi tahun 2020 New normal di pandemi covid 19 berdampak pada pengusaha kocar-kacir ekonomi di semua sektor PHK dimana-mana tidak terkecuali di kampung Barito Semarang sehingga mata pencaharian yang tidak menentu untuk menghasilkan uang, kita harus punya skill keahlian yang mumpuni untuk mengatasi pengangguran usia remaja perlu memperdayakan masyarakat angkatan kerja yang masih muda muda atau remaja dibekali skill pemotongan LPG secara bertahap sampai mahir. New normal 2020 di Kompleks Barito Semarang untulan usaha-usaha jasa pemotongan LPG untuk plat baja FC NP tempat yang menjadi tenaga pemotong LPG plat baja yang dari luar kota kondisi sepi menjadi dirumahkan atau PHK untuk menyediakan tempat kost untuk pekerja dari luar kota menjadi masalah dari kelangkaan tenaga ahli potong LPG plat baja menjadikan masalah untuk pengusaha pengusaha pemotongan LPG  Untuk mengatasi problem tersebut tim pengabdian masyarakat jurusan Teknik Sipil Polines untuk mengadakan Pelatihan memperdayakan Masyarakat untuk kaum remaja putus sekolah dengan skill 9 pembuatan sifat baja dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun selalu mengalami perkembangan. Meningkatnya kebutuhan akan tempat tinggal tidak seimbang dengan jumlah pertumbuhan kayu yang mengakibatkan langkanya kayu dibidang konstruksi. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan, struktur dibidang Teknik Sipil dituntut untuk menjadi lebih berkualitas dari segala aspek kekuatan yang harus dipenuhi seperti aspek ekonomi dan kemudahan dalam pembangunan. Salah satu struktur yang banyak menarik perhatian saat ini adalah struktur rangka atap dengan menggunakan profil baja ringan. Adapun keuntungan menggunakan rangka atap baja adalah: merupakan material baru yang makin diminati, bahan ini dapat dibuat dengan bermacam bentangan (panjang atau lebar atap), bahan yang bila dirancang dengan benar, akan lebih kuat dari atap kayu, serta lebih aman, material ini lebih awet, tidak dimakan rayap, tahan terhadap api, sifat materialnya ringan dan mudah dirakit, bila dibandingkan rangka kayu pada luasan yang sama pemasangan kerangka atap baja ringan, bobotnya yang ringan dibandingkan kayu, beban yang harus ditanggung oleh struktur dibawahnya lebih rendah, dan sisa material sedikit.Kata kunci: Konstruksi rangka atap baja, pelatihan, tenaga terampil.

Abstract

SMKN 5 Surakarta students encountered a challenge during the initial assessment of the civil construction implementation, particularly concerning field soil testing. This challenge was exacerbated by the absence of soil mechanics courses in the curriculum. While the students possessed a fundamental grasp of civil engineering competencies, they faced difficulties in various aspects, with field soil testing being a notable area of concern. To address these competency gaps and enhance the vocational school curriculum, training sessions were conducted to educate students on the practical application of soil tests in the field. The specific training covered sand cone and DCP tests. According to the questionnaire results, post-training, over 50% of SMKN 5 Surakarta students exhibited a clear understanding of how to perform field tests using DCP, Sand Cone, and Speedy Moisture test equipment, along with the ability to analyze the resulting test data. The effectiveness of direct training and intensive mentoring was evident in facilitating students' comprehension of the provided material. Notably, 90% of the students affirmed that the training was easily comprehensible.

Abstract

Abstract Land transportation traffic accidents in Indonesia were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 pandemic, several transportation policies were implemented. An absolute must for implementing transportation safety. During the Covid pandemic in 2019 and 2020, the average number of traffic accidents was 25%, the number of fatalities was 24%, the number of injured victims was 21% and the number of accidents was 25%. In 2021, Indonesian people will begin to face new normal conditions, where all activities run normally in line with the presence of the Covid 19 virus. So that in 2021 and 2022 there will be another increase in the number of traffic accidents, deaths, injuries and accidents. The average figures for 2021 and 2022 for the number of traffic accidents are 26%, the number of fatalities is 26%, the number of injured victims is 23% and the number of accidents is 28%. With the presence of Regulation Number 21 of 2020 concerning PSBB, the number of accidents in Indonesia can be reduced, but the reduction in the accident rate has not occurred significantly. In 2019 the accident rate was 31% and in the year the PSBB policy was implemented the accident rate was 23%, the reduction in the accident rate was only 8%.
