Abstract

Masyarakat Dayak Bakumpai merupakan suku yang memiliki banyak adat istiadat. Masyarakat suku Dayak Bakumpai merupakan salah satu suku yang banyak tinggal di daerah pulau Kalimantan, salah satunya yaitu di wilayah kelurahan Lepasan dari provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Masyarakat ini memiliki salah satu adat yaitu adat mandi 7 bulanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apa saja tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam ritual adat tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 4 kunci utama narasumber yang berasal dari suku Dayak Bakumpai. Pengamatan data dilakukan dengan cara mengamati lalu mendokumentasi foto-foto tumbuhan dengan bantuan alat berupa handphone, meteran jahit dan aplikasi untuk mengukur ketinggian pohon. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara terdapat 7 jenis tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam adat mandi 7 bulanan yaitu mawar, melati, kenanga, cempaka putih, kelapa, pinang, dan tebu. Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan yaitu bunga dan buah. Penelitian yang dilkukan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat setempat melestarikan tanaman-tanaman tersebut sampai saat ini sebagai bentuk pelestarian terhadap budaya setempat.

Abstract

The tradition of bridal bathing or called mandi bapapai is carried out from generation to generation by the Dayak Bakumpai tribe in Lepasan Village, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan. This tradition is a traditional event that utilizes plants as a symbol in its implementation. The purpose of this article is to determine the local potential of plants used in traditional events and focuses on the use of plant species and parts used. This research uses a descriptive approach to produce a systematic, factual, and accurate description of the facts, characteristics, and relationships between plant phenomena used in the traditional ritual of bridal bathing or bathing bapapai. The results of research through interview instruments show that the community utilizes as many as nine species in seven families in the traditional ritual of bridal bathing, including Rosaceae (Rosa hybrida L.), Oleaceae (Jasmimum sambac), Anonaceae (Cananga odorata), and Magnoliaceae (Michelia champaca L). Araceae (Areca catechu Cocos nucifera), Poaceae (Saccharum officinarum Oriza sativa), and Musaceae (Musa paradisiaca L.).

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the implementation of the discovery learning model based on mind mapping in online learning on colloid materials. This study aims to determine the difference in knowledge learning outcomes, attitudes, and student responses to the discovery learning model based on mind mapping in online learning on colloid materials. The method used is a quasi-experiment using a "non-equivalent control group design" design. The research sample was students of class XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIA 2 as the control class at MAN 2 Tabalong. Data collection used test and non-test techniques. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed (1) there was a significant difference in knowledge learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class where the t-value > t-table (α = 0.05) with an average value for the experimental class of 86.67 with an average N-gain value of 0.74, while for the control class it was 77.56 with an average N-gain value of 0.60, (2) the attitudes of students' learning outcomes had different average values where in the experimental class it was 78.59 higher than the control class which was 72.30, (3) student responses to the discovery learning model based on mind mapping in online learning on colloid materials were in the good category.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai implementasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan aplikasi modul Chemondroid terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi tatanama senyawa di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian bertujuan agar mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, peningkatan hasil belajar, dan respon peserta didik terhadap implementasi model PjBL berbantuan aplikasi modul Chemondroid pada materi tatanama senyawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X Multimedia B di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non-tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan N-gain sebesar 0,63 dalam kategori sedang, (2) terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan N-gain sebesar 0,76 dalam kategori tinggi, (3) Rata-rata nilai respon peserta didik sebesar 39,49 memenuhi level pada rentang kriteria positif. Sehingga implementasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan aplikasi modul Chemondroid berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMK Negeri 2 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an important aspect of the skills expected in 21st-century learning, especially in chemistry learning. Based on preliminary studies that have been carried out, critical thinking skills are still not practiced in the learning process, and the teaching materials used are still only a few that relate daily life problems to the material. This study aimed to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The ADDIE model was used as the method of this research, 36 students of class X-E of Senior High School 5 Banjarmasin were the subjects of the development research. Data were collected with test and non-test instruments. Analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness were the analysis techniques used in this study. The findings of this study are that the e-module has a very high level of validity which is 94.93, very practical with a practicality score of 84.46, and effective with an N-Gain of 81.15. Suggestions for future researchers are that the developed e-modules can be accessed without using the internet and the testing of the developed products can be more than one school.

Abstract

Improving Students’ Self-Efficacy in Studying Salt Hydrolysis Using the SCCrT Model. Objectives: This study aims to determine the differences in the Self-Efficacy of students who learn to use the SCCrT (Scientific Critical Creative Thinking) model with the DI (Direct Instruction) model. Methods: This research is an experimental study of quasi-experimental design with a sample of 69 people consisting of 2 classes with data collection techniques using a questionnaire consisting of 15 statements using four aspects of self-efficacy. Data analysis was descriptive quantitative, and quantitative inferential with SPSS version 25. Findings:  The application of the SCCrT model affects students' self-efficacy acquisition, which is characterized by differences in the self-efficacy results with classes that apply the DI model with an average significance value of 0.00. Conclusion: There are differences in students’ self-efficacy between classes that study with the SCCrT model and courses that use the DI model. The SCCrT model performed better than the DI model in the average category, and the DI model performed well in the salt hydrolysis material category. Keywords: self-efficacy, salt hydrolysis, SCCrT model.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v13.i2.202322

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengembangan e-modul berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi asam basa di MAN Katingan pada Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji kevalidan, uji kepraktisan, dan uji keefektifan e-modul yang dikembangkan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE, subjek penelitian yaitu 27 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 MAN Katingan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket, lembar observasi, dan instrumen tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul berbasis proyek. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan nilai 86,95, secara kepraktisan menunjukkan sangat praktis dengan nilai 89,38 diperoleh dari hasil respon peserta didik dan angket lembar observasi, dan secara efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa e-modul efektif dengan nilai 76,06 e-modul yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang dilihat dari hasil pretest dengan nilai 31,02 dan memperoleh nilai posttest sebesar 83,18 sehingga mencapai peningkatan pada kategori tinggi yang ditunjukkan dengan data dari nilai N-Gain yaitu 0,76. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan e-modul berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.
