Abstract

Trans Batam is a mode of public transportation offered by the Batam city government to the public. In an effort to maintain relationships with customers, the quality of services and facilities is key in maintaining customer and providing high value through customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and facilities on consumer satisfaction on users of Trans Batam bus transportation. The method used is a quantitative method with a type of causality research. The population in this study were trans Batam bus passengers. While the study sample consisted of 100 respondents who used purposive sampling technique. Based on this research, the hypothesis testing between service quality and facility variables partially and simultaneously has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, case studies on Transs Batam bus public transportation users. These results indicate that the better the quality of services and facilities provided will increase customer satisfaction as users of public transportation services.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the description of the variables of service quality, servicescape and customer satisfaction and to know and analyze partially and simultaneously service quality and servicescape to customer satisfaction at PT Bank Sinarmas Raflessia cash office in Batam branch. The population studied in the study was a customer of PT Bank Sinarmas, the Batam branch of Raflessia cash office with 3000 customers. The sample in this study amounted to 125 customers with probability sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative research. This study uses a multiple linear regression analysis method. Test the quality of data used in this study using validity and reliability tests which indicate that the indicators used are valid for measuring existing variables. From the results of this study conclusions are that service quality and servicescape have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at the PT Bank Sinarmas Raflessia cash office in the Batam branch.

Abstract

The issue of Compensation and Work Motivation for employees is a classic problem that must still be placed to get work productivity and Job Satisfaction for employees. By taking the title of research on the Effect of Compensation and Work Motivation on Employees of PT BPR Dana Nusantara in Batam City, to see the extent of the influence of these two variables on Employee Job Satisfaction. The research method used is to take a sample of 119 employees consisting of several divisions at BPR Dana Nusantara Batam. The Data Collection Technique used in this study was by interviewing directly and distributing randomly distributed questionnaires to employees of PT BPR Dana Nusantara in Batam City. Test the research data using Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Determination Coefficient Test (R2), Partial T Test and Simultaneous F Test. From this study found results that Fcount is greater than Ftable and Thitung is greater than Ttable which means that this study simultaneously and partially has a significant effect in increasing employee job satisfaction in a company.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi era teknologi seperti sekarang ini, semua Sumber Daya Manusia diharapkan dapat beradaptasi dengan cepat guna menyokong segala aktivitas. Begitu juga dengan tenaga pengajar seperti dosen yang dapat mengembangkan metode pembelajaran secara visual agar lebih efektif. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang sedang digalakkan pada Perguruan Tinggi XYZ yakni dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran yang dibuat dosen. Efektivitas metode tersebut dinilai dengan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran yang diberikan dosen. Oleh sebab itu dosen harus memiliki produktivitas pembuatan video pembelajaran yang baik. Oleh sebab itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas pembuatan video pembelajaran, di antaranya, efektivitas pelatihan, kompetensi dosen, dan dukungan institusional. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Smart PLS. Sampel yang digunakan adalah dosen Perguruan Tinggi XYZ yang turut membuat video pembelajaran. hasil yang diperoleh yakni efektivitas pelatihan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas pembuatan video pembelajaran, sedangkan kompetensi dosen dan dukungan institusional berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas pembuatan video pembelajaran. Selain itu efektivitas pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas pembuatan video pembelajaran melalui dukungan institusional, sementara kompetensi dosen tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas pembuatan video pembelajaran melalui dukungan institusional.

Abstract

Zakat is a form of charity that must be done by Muslims to help those in need, but in this digital era, the emergence of online fraud has the potential to reduce trust in zakat organizers and have an impact on a person's willingness to pay zakat online. This study aimed to explore the effect of trust in fundraisers and cyber-fraud perceptions on the willingness to pay zakat online by considering the moderating variables of perceived behavioral control and media literacy. This study was a quantitative study, with a sample of 237 Muslims in Indonesia who have been victims of fraud on social media. The research data obtained through a survey mechanism from June to October 2024 were then analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of this study showed that trust in fundraisers had a significant effect on the willingness to pay zakat online when control variables such as age group, gender, education level, and marital status are considered. Without considering the control variables, this effect was not significant. On the other hand, cyber-fraud perception did not significantly affect willingness to pay zakat in both models, although there was a negative tendency. Furthermore, perceived behavioral control does not act as a moderator in the relationship between trust in fundraisers and cyber-fraud perception on willingness to pay zakat. Media literacy showed a significant moderating effect in the model without control variables in the influence between trust in fundraisers and willingness to pay zakat online.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi, dan Work-Life Balance terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan di Perusahaan EPC di Jakarta, dengan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai variabel mediasi dan moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan total 259 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis dengan metode Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi, dan Work-Life Balance memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan. Selain itu, ketiga variabel tersebut juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa Kepuasan Kerja turut memberikan kontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan, namun tidak berperan sebagai variabel moderasi. Sebaliknya, Kepuasan Kerja berfungsi sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi, dan Work-Life Balance dengan Loyalitas Karyawan. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam meningkatkan retensi karyawan, serta memberikan implikasi teoretis yang dapat memperkaya kajian akademik di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of entrepreneurs that influence success in running a business. Through a survey method involving 50 entrepreneurs, this study explores various characteristics, including self-confidence, risk-taking, hard work, innovation, independence, forward-looking orientation, responsiveness, management, networking, and strategic skills. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and business performance. The Spearman Rank correlation test indicates that strategy, networking, and management skills have a solid relationship, confirming the importance of these skills in supporting entrepreneurial success. Meanwhile, characteristics such as risk-taking and innovation show a weaker relationship with other traits, indicating that the context and situation of the individual influence these factors. This study provides insight into how various entrepreneurial characteristics interact with each other and contribute to business success. These findings are expected to be a reference for developing training and support programs for entrepreneurs and increasing understanding of the importance of skills development in the world of entrepreneurship. Thus, this study contributes to the entrepreneurship literature by highlighting the relationship between individual characteristics and successful business outcomes

Abstract

This research is to determine and analyze the factors Compensation, Loyalty and Organizational Commitment influence on Employee Performance at PT Gici Group Batam. Results Data collection obtained sample of 87 respondents. Respondents in this study were employees of PT Gici Group Batam. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis, using Pearson rank validity test and Cronbach-Alpa reliability test against research instruments. To assess the influence of compensation, loyalty, and organizational commitment influence on employee performance in PT Gici Group Batam, used path analysis. After doing research and testing show Compensation, Loyalty, and Commitment of organization have positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Siliwangi Clinic in Cimahi to analyze the factors influencing employee performance, including training, work discipline, career development, and leadership style. The clinic faces several issues, such as difficulty in attending professional training due to a tight service schedule, low employee discipline (e.g., frequent tardiness and inappropriate work attire), lack of transparency in career development, and weak leadership presence and enforcement. The objectives of this research problem: (1) to analyze the influence of the relationship between training and employee performance at the Siliwangi Clinic, Cimahi, (2) to analyze the influence of work discipline on employee performance at the Siliwangi Clinic, Cimahi, (3) to analyze the influence of the relationship between career development and employee performance at the Siliwangi Clinic, Cimahi, (4) to analyze the influence of the relationship between leadership style and employee performance at the Siliwangi Clinic, Cimahi, (5) to analyze the influence of the relationship between training, work discipline, career development and leadership style on employee performance at the Siliwangi Clinic, Cimahi. The population of this study was 47 employees. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and interviews. The research method used the Multiple Linear Regression model. The research findings indicate that: Training (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a coefficient of 0.298. Work discipline (X2) also has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a coefficient of 0.250. Career development (X3) has no significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a coefficient of 0.045. Leadership style (X4) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a coefficient of 0.52. Simultaneously, all four variables have a significant effect on employee performance, as shown by F-value of 24.348, which is greater than the F-table value of 2.588.
