Abstract

Kemampuan lahan merupakan potensi lahan untuk penggunaan berbagai sistem pertanian secara umum untuk penggunaan lahan berkelanjutan. Kemampuan lahan adalah salah satu metode untuk mengetahui daya dukung lahan. Kabupaten Majene merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Sulawesi Barat yang sebagian besar mata pencaharian penduduknya adalah sebagai petani. Komoditas pertanian seperti perkebunan dianggap sangat membantu perekonomian masyarakat, tetapi penurunan produktivitas perkebunan mengakibatkan dampak negatif bagi pendapatan masyarakat. Kegiatan pertanian selalu ditandai dengan pembukaan lahan baru. Oleh karena itu, jika aktivitas pertanian mengabaikan kemampuan lahan maka lahan akan menjadi rusak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian penggunaan lahan dengan kemampuan lahan dan RTRW dan menyusun strategi pengembangan komoditas unggulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 kelas kemampuan lahan dan 12 sub-kelas kemampuan lahan dengan faktor pembatas dominan adalah lereng. Sebagian penggunaan lahan di beberapa area tidak cocok dengan kemampuan lahannya yaitu sebesar 28%, sedangkan ketidakcocokan penggunaan lahan dengan RTRW jauh lebih sedikit, yakni 14,8%. Strategi yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan komoditas perkebunan adalah menjaga kesuburan tanah, pengendalian hama terpadu, penerapan pola tanam, meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya petani, meningkatkan peran penyuluh, pembangunan dan perbaikan infrastruktur serta manajemen panen/pasca panen.Kata kunci: Strategi pengembangan komoditas, kemampuan lahan, komoditas unggulanABSTRACTLand capability is potentials land for uses of various agricultural systems for general sustainable land uses. Land capability is one of methods to determine carrying capacity of land. Majene Regency is one of regencies in West Sulawesi Province with major of livelihoods is as farmers. Agricultural commodities especially plantation is very important for the people‟s welfare in this area, but the decrease in productivity have negative impacts to the farmers‟ income. Agricultural activities always be marked with opening new land. Therefore, if land capability ignored then the land will be degraded. This research aims to evaluate conformity of the existing land use and land capability with spatial planning (RTRW) and to arrange a leading community development strategy. The results showed that land has four capability classes and twelve capability sub-classes with slope concerns as the dominant limiting factor. The land uses in some areas do not match with their land capabilities accounted for 28%, while unconformity land uses to spatial planning (RTRW) is far less, accounted for 14,8%. The strategies to increase the plantation commodities are by maintaining soil fertility, integrated pest management, implementation of cropping patterns, development of farmer resource, development role of agricultural extension agents, development and improvement of infrastructure and management of harvest and postharvest.Keywords : commodity development strategy, land capability, leading commodity

Abstract

Business continuity that provides a home meal especially palekko menu can not be predicted so that business owners are required to develop appropriate strategies to develop the quality of the product in maintaining their business. This study aims to determine the strategy for developing the culinary quality of palekko ducks in Sidenreng Rappang Regency using SWOT analysis. The results of the matrix show the strategies that can be applied by the business owner is to open a business branch, promote, maintain and improve the quality of products, services, and HR by compiling a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), working with suppliers with a work contract system to ensure availability of materials raw.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the effects of the fermented-seaweed meal waste available in the ration to the performance (weight gain, consumption and convertion of ration, carcass production (carcass percentage, carcass components, and abdominal fat). This research applied 80 local day oldduck (DOD). The research design applied was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments which were repeated for 5 times. Every repetition consists of 4 local duck. The treatments applied were: R0 = Controlled Ration, R1 = Ration containing of 2,5%fermented-seaweed meal waste. R2 = Ration containing of 5% fermented-seaweed meal waste, and R3 = Ration containing of 7,5% fermented-seaweed meal waste.The result of this research shows that the treatments hadnot significant influence on the duck performance and abdominal fat, butsignificantly influence on the percentage of carcass and the carcass components, while  abdominal fat decreaseto the higher fermented seaweed meal waste contained in the ration. Abstract

Introduction: Stunting is a serious issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas (34.8%) compared to urban areas (27.3%), caused by a lack of nutritional knowledge among women of reproductive age. The aim of the research is to develop Nastar Abolecam to improve the nutritional intake of women of reproductive age in order to prevent stunting by providing a healthy, nutrient-rich snack. Method: This research employs an experimental design with three variations of Nastar Abolecam formula, comparing ratios of red bean flour and wheat flour (25%, 50%, and 75%). It involves an organoleptic test by 75 panelists of women of reproductive age, as well as analyzing the nutritional value and food cost to determine the product's selling price. Results: The results showed that formula 2 of Nastar Abolecam with catfish floss was the most preferred by panelists in the hedonic test. This formula excels in color, aroma, taste, and texture, with the highest value on the Likert scale. These findings align with previous studies that show consumer preference for products with attractive visual characteristics, a distinctive buttery aroma, a savory taste, and a crunchy texture. Analysis of nutritional content also shows that formula 2 contains good nutrition, including increased iron, so it has the potential to be a healthy snack for pregnant women. With affordable food costs, formula 2 is expected to be well-accepted in the market and contribute to preventing stunting. Conclusion: Formula 2 of Nastar Abolecam with catfish floss proved to be the most preferred by panelists, indicating the success of the combination of ingredients and proportions in meeting consumer preferences. Manufacturers are advised to adopt Formula 2 in large-scale production and conduct further research to develop product variations and improve quality through innovation of raw materials and processing techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of information technology usage on improving teacher performance at SMP Negeri 26 Palembang. The use of information technology is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the teaching process, particularly in planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of educational programs. The research method employed is a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques including observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects of this research are teachers at SMP Negeri 26 Palembang. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression tests and prerequisite tests to ensure the validity and reliability of the collected data. The research findings indicate that the use of information technology has a positive effect on enhancing teacher performance at SMP Negeri 26 Palembang. The regression coefficient of 0.606 suggests that every increase in the use of information technology can improve teacher performance. The t-test results show a value of t_calculated = 7.386 and t_table = 1.676 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating a significant effect. The determination test shows that information technology accounts for 52.2% of the improvement in teacher performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, optimizing the use of information technology has a positive impact on teacher performance, and it is recommended that schools continue to support training and development of technology skills for teachers in the future

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the zonation system for new student admissions at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data in this research was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the zonation system for new student admissions at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang has been carried out effectively. This can be observed through the execution of several key indicators in the new student admission process, including analyzing student needs, registering prospective students, selecting students, determining accepted students, and re-registration. The overall process of implementing the zonation system for new student admissions has been well-organized and effectively managed

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers after participating in the Teacher Professional Education Program at SD Negeri 01 Pemulutan, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation study. The informants consisted of key informants (Islamic Religious Education teachers) and supporting informants (principal, school supervisor, and students), totaling 14 people selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation. The results showed an increase in the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers after the program. This improvement was evident in professional competence, particularly in mastering subject matter and teaching strategies, as well as in more relevant educational qualifications. The use of technology in learning became more optimal, supported by effective communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents, thus strengthening the teacher's role as a professional educator

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the arrangement of classroom facilities in supporting the learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir. The type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. There were 4 informants, with data collection methods through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, presentation and verification and conclusions. Data validity checking techniques through triangulation. The results and discussions stated that the arrangement of classroom facilities at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir had been carried out quite well, namely the availability of adequate learning facilities in each class, orderly and comfortable room arrangement for students, and the use of facilities such as whiteboards, LCD projectors, and other learning equipment that support the learning process. This arrangement provides a conducive learning atmosphere and increases student involvement in teaching and learning activities.
