Abstract

Telah dilakukan penstabilan sumber cahaya laser He-Ne berdasarkan pada sistem optis. Sistem optis ini terdiri dari polarisator, pelat λ/4, analisator, fotodetektor dan multimeter digital. Variasi dilakukan dengan penggunaan satu pelat λ/4 dan dua pelat λ/4. Sudut cepat retardasi pada masing-masing pelat λ/4 divariasikan dengan sudut 0o, 30o, 45o, 60o, 90o, -30o, -45o, -60o, dan -90o.  Hasil analisis nilai SNR menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang memiliki tingkat kestabilan paling tinggi pada Tingkat kestabilan sistem dilihat dari nilai analisis SNR dari tegangan keluaran fotodetektor. Eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem penstabil yang paling efektif adalah sistem penstabil satu pelat λ/4 pada sudut pelat λ/4 60o. Sistem pada keadaan ini memiliki tingkat kestabilan dalam jangka waktu pengukuran 113 sekon sebesar 41,0403 ± 0,0328 dB, dengan simpangan terhadap tegangan awal sebesar 0,025 mV. Sehingga selama pengukuran nilai intensitas laser He-Ne yang diterima fotodetektor memiliki nilai yang mendekati konstan, yaitu pada angka 34,786 ± 0,025 mV.

Abstract

A number of diseases have been stigmatized as a side effect of smoking and its smoke. Reducing the dangers of smoking by capturing radioactive substances from cigarette smoke is one way to reduce or reduce the level of danger. This study aims to make a filter made from bidara leaf powder to bind free radicals in cigarette smoke. Bidara leaf powder with PEG solution was mixed and stirred until homogeneous with variations in the mass of bidara powder 0.7 grams, 0.8 grams, 0.8 grams, 0.9 grams and 1 gram. The product was molded with a 0.7 cm diameter pipe hose, allowed to dry before being removed from the mold, and heated at a temperature of 105o C for 20 minutes. Biofilter matrix using polyethylene glycol (PEG) and egg white, bidara leaf powder as a biofilter filler. The physical characteristics of the membrane were obtained by conducting density and porosity tests with SEM. The effectiveness of the biofilter membrane is known by passing cigarette smoke, then the number of free radicals trapped in the biofilter is analyzed using ESR. The results showed that the use of a biofilter made from bidara leaf powder with a mass of 0.9 grams with an egg white matrix was able to bind 85.7% of free radicals (C, O2-, C, Peroxy, CO2-, and Hydroperoxides) with 100% effectiveness, density. 0.893 g/cm3 and porosity 0.6788%. Testing the characteristics of the biofilter with SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) shows the size of the biofilter pores between 2-3 m, while the size of free radicals in cigarette smoke ranges from 20-430 nm. This indicates that the ability to bind free radicals in cigarette smoke is influenced by the antioxidant activity of bidara leaf powder (filler biofilter).

Abstract

Rice is the staple food of Indonesian. Rice quality is a factor that needs attention because it is related to consumer health.Checking the quality of rice using digital images can be applied because it is non-invasive, so the rice will be more hygienic. The method of utilizing digital images that can be used for checking the quality of rice is LSCI (Laser Speckel Imaging). This method uses a speckle image, that contrast value is analyzedusingImageJ or MATLAB software. To obtain the optimum speckle image contrast value, the arrival angle (laser angle) and capture angle (camera angle) must be adjusted properly. Obtained angle values that produce the optimum speckle image contrast, are at the arrival angle 40o and capture angle 30o at 60o data capture position. The average of the optimum contrast value is 1.2617 a.u. To simplify the speckle image processing, a speckle image contrast analysis application based on the GUI MATLAB was created. Obtained the measurement accuracy from the application is ranged from 99,99 % to 100.00%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring merupakan pilihan yang diambil dalam mengantisipasi pandemi covid-19. Sayangnya dengan pembelajaran daring ini praktikum sebagai salah satu pilar pembelajaran sering ditiadakan karena tidak dapat dilaksanakan di luar laboratorium. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mendampingi guru-guru dalam melaksanakan praktikum secara daring berbasis internet. Praktikum dilaksanakan di laboratorium oleh guru tetapi disiarkan secara daring kepada siswa dirumah. Dengan demikian praktikum tetap dapat dilakukan. Titik titik pengamatan disorot dengan kamera sehingga siswa dapat mengamati data yang harus dicatat dalam LKS secara daring.  Jika diperlukan dapat menggunakan lebih dari satu kamera untuk menyorot titik-titik pengamatan data. Untuk mengakomodasi beberapa kamera yang disiarakan secara langsung maka perlu software yang dapat mengakomodasi keperluan itu. Salah satu software yang dapat digunakan adalah OBS. Dengan melakukan streaming beberapa kamera secara bersamaan maka data yang harus diambil secara simultan dapat diamati oleh siswa. Dengan cara seperti ini maka praktikum tetap dapat dilaksanakan walaupun secara daring. Siswa tidak perlu datang ke sekolah untuk melaksanakan praktikum tetapi tetap mendapatkan data praktikum yang dilakukan oleh guru secara daring.Kata Kunci: Praktikum, daring, pandemi, multistreaming, OBS Studio

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of hardware and software required to implement optical sensor technology. The optical sensor used is the MAX30102, equipped with infrared (IR) and red-light sources along with a receiver. The signals generated by the sensor are processed by NodeMCU and displayed on the OLED. The calibration results indicate the relationship between hemoglobin obtained using the invasive method and the output of the MAX30102 sensor, which is in the form of wavelength. It has the equation  with an  value of 0.9114. This equation is utilized to program the NodeMCU through the Arduino IDE. Validation and clinical trials have been conducted to evaluate its accuracy and applicability in clinical contexts. The results show that the non-invasive device has an average standard deviation of 0.32, indicating consistent measurement values. The non-invasive device demonstrates an average accuracy of 99.24%, signifying high precision and similarity to invasive methods. This suggests that the device holds potential as an innovative solution for Hemoglobin measurement.

Abstract

Pengukuran mutu beras sebagian besar menggunakan cara manual yang rawan dalam mengakibatkan terjadinya kesalahan karena keterbatasan penglihatan manusia dan subjektivitas penguji. Sehingga pengolahan citra digital dengan memanfaatkan metode Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging (LSCI) dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif. Citra spekel diamati dengan melihat perubahan nilai kontras pada software MATLAB. Dilakukan pengambilan data penelitian berupa kadar air, persentase beras kuning, nilai kontras, dan lama waktu penyimpanan pada beberapa merek beras serta kadar air beras yang berbeda. Data persentase beras kuning dan kontras beras dikarakterisasi berdasarkan nilai kadar airnya untuk menentukan nilai minimum dan maksimum. Diperoleh data karakterisasi kadar air beras baik yaitu 12,5 % - 13 % dengan persentase beras kuning ≤ 0,89 % dan nilai kontras ≤ 1,3183 a.u, pada beras sedang yaitu 13,5 % - 14 % dan 15 % dengan persentase beras kuning 0,9 % - 1,1 % dan nilai kontras 1,1698 a.u - 1,2542 a.u, dan pada beras buruk yaitu 14,5 % - 15 % dengan persentase beras kuning 0,95 % - 1,186 % dan nilai kontras 1,1818 a.u - 1,259 a.u. Hasil tersebut digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi analisis kontras spekel beras berbasis GUI MATLAB Most of the measurement of rice quality uses manual methods which are susceptible to causing errors due to limited human vision and subjectivity of testers. So that digital image processing using the Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging (LSCI) method can be an alternative. Speckle image was observed by looking at the change in contrast value in MATLAB software. The research data were collected in the form of water content, percentage of yellow rice, contrast value, and storage time for different rice brands also different rice moisture content. Data on the percentage of yellow rice and rice contrast were characterized based on their water content values to determine the minimum and maximum values. Obtained water content characterization data of good rice that are 12.5 % - 13 % with a percentage of yellow rice ≤ 0.89 % and a contrast value ≤ 1.3183 a.u, on medium rice, that are 13.5 % - 14 % and 15 % with a percentage of rice yellow 0.9 % - 1.1 % and a contrast value 1.1698 a.u - 1.2542 a.u, and bad rice is 14.5 % - 15 % with a percentage of yellow rice 0.95 % - 1.186 % and a contrast 1.1818 a.u - 1.259 a.u. Abstract

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensors are proficient at detecting minute changes in refractive index, making them ideal for biomolecule detection. Traditional prism-based SPR sensors encounter miniaturization challenges, encouraging exploration of alternatives like fiber optic-based SPR (FO-SPR) sensors. This study comprehensively investigates the effects of material and geometrical parameters on the performance of single-mode FO-SPR sensors using Maxwell's equation solver software based on the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The findings highlight the influence of plasmonic thin film materials and thickness on SPR spectrum profiles and sensitivity. Silver (Ag) demonstrates superior performance compared to copper (Cu) and gold (Au) in transmission type, achieving a sensitivity of up to 2×103 nm/RIU, while the sensitivities of Cu and Au are lower. Probe length and core diameter impact spectrum profiles, specifically resonance depth, without affecting sensitivity. Furthermore, variations in core refractive index influence both spectrum profiles and sensitivity. Probe types significantly affect both spectrum profiles and sensitivity, with the reflection type surpassing the transmission type. These results provide suggestions for optimizing FO-SPR sensors in biotechnological applications.

Abstract

Refillable drinking water was chosen as an alternative to bottled drinking water because the price is cheaper. Drinking water has benefits for the body, but if the levels of heavy metals contained exceed the Ministry of Health's standards, it will have a negative impact on body health. This research was conducted with the aim of determining the quality of refillable drinking water in terms of heavy metal levels. Atomic absorption spectroscopy was used to test the levels of heavy metals (Pb, Cu, Cd, and Hg) in the samples. Research data shows that refill drinking water samples A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5 contain heavy metals at levels that exceed the Ministry of Health's standards. PC1 and PC2 have the highest eigenvalues, with a proportion of PC1 of 60.86% and PC2 of 22.69%. The two PCs have a cumulative proportion of 83.55% and are considered capable of representing the entire data. PCA method was used to identify patterns and group samples based on heavy metal content, with PC1 and PC2 reflecting 83.55% of the data variability. Pb and Cd are the variables that have the longest resultant lines, which shows that these two variables have a large contribution to the formation of new variables. The three secondary data samples, namely A6, A7, and A8, are control samples because their quality is good. Refill drinking water samples that are almost close to control are samples A1, A4, and A5, while samples A2 and A3 are far from control. The further the sample is from the control, the lower the quality. The results of this study highlight the need for strict supervision of refillable drinking water depots and the implementation of more effective purification methods to reduce heavy metal content exceeding health standards.

Abstract

Improved management of reading houses in the Ar-Ridlo Mosque, Belung Village, Poncokusumo, Malang District. The application used is SLIMS 8. The Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) is an open source library management system (library management system) licensed under GPL v3. The steps we have taken are making a cataloging module, making a tracking module, creating a circulation module, making a membership management module, making a collection inventory module, making a series of serial management modules and a workshop on reading house management based on Slims 8. A management workshop has been conducted with material install programs, carry out an inventory of books, register members, save and borrow activities, member card printing and book numbers
