Abstract

Until now, the education system in our country is more emphasis on the cognitive aspect than educating for character. Meanwhile, the globalization in 21st has given rise to the phenomenon of free trade, dependence science and technology (ICT, Bio-technology, Nano-technology), global life (Speed, Conectivity, Intangable, and Compatibility), human rights, issues of democratization, environment, gender, and multiculturalism. SDIT Nur Hidayah is a school has applied to try appliying character building. These programs of character building is implementating from their own religion. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Subject of these researchs are teachers and students. And informan of these researchs are headmaster, employees, and parents of the children.The results of this research shows that the information program of the characters in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta applied intensively (daily, weekly, monthly). The programs include 1. integrated in the leraning process, 2. any other programs: Pekan Pembiasaan, Pekan Kedisiplinan, Mentoring, Mutaba’ah Alyaumiyah. The purpose of these programs is intended to build characters of the students. These programs are not only comprehensive, but also very unique. The children are so enjoy and enthusiastic in carrying out various characters, and we hope they have a basic foundation of strong character.Keywords: Character Building, based on Religion

Abstract

In the digital era, universities are required to be more accountable and professional in managing institutions’ records. Archival institutions play a fundamental role in managing all matters related to university archives. This study aims to reveal the performance of higher education archive institutions that have been carried in two universities in Indonesia which are UGM and Airlangga University. This research gathered the main sources via the universitys’ website. The method used a qualitative research methodology. While the approach used in this study is content analysis which begins with unitizing, data reduction, abductively inferring contextual phenomena, and analysis. The study found that the two universities through their archives units have performed well by following the mandate of the law. It can be seen in both website features, as well as the development in each segment is complete and explorative owned by UGM compared to Airlangga University. In addition, Airlangga University provided the AMERTA Archives Audit System (SAKA).

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to answer two crucial problems in education, especially school refusal for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. First, to express the students' reasons why they do school refusal. The second is to reveal the implications for the students' psychological and academic factors. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach to describe natural phenomena or human manipulation phenomena. The data was obtained through an interview with the seven students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Semarang. To analyze the data, the researcher used non-statistical methods with interactive methods developed by Miles and Huberman. This research indicated that the students refuse to go to school because of physical conditions such as getting a fever or sick and psychological conditions such as not doing the homework and being bullied. The absence of the students during the learning process, especially Mathematics, affects their academic achievement.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab dua masalah krusial dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya school refusal pada siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Pertama, untuk mengungkapkan alasan siswa melakukan penolakan sekolah. Kedua, untuk mengungkap implikasi faktor psikologis dan akademis siswa. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena yang ada, baik fenomena alam maupun manipulasi manusia. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara kepada tujuh siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Semarang. Untuk menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan metode non statistik dengan metode interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa menolak bersekolah karena kondisi fisik seperti demam atau sakit dan kondisi psikologis seperti tidak mengerjakan PR dan di-bully. Ketidakhadiran siswa selama proses pembelajaran khususnya pelajaran Matematika mempengaruhi prestasi akademiknya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the trend of followers of each social media and the use of social media at four State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia. This study used a content analysis approach with data from websites. These documents could be downloaded from websites related to social media. The sample taken was four UIN which have relatively active social media in updating. Data validity was done by validating data internally as well as cross-data. The data analysis used interactive analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. Moreover, the results showed that the use of social media was varied. Facebook and Instagram were for academic activities, including promotion for prospective new students. It dominantly occurs in all research locations and is balanced with the content of national and religious activities.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui trend followers masing-masing media sosial, serta penggunaan media sosial di 4 Perguruan Tinggi Islam Negeri (UIN) di Indonesia yang fokus pada masing-masing pulau satu UIN. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi dengan data dari website berupa dokumen yang dapat diunduh dari website yang berhubungan dengan media sosial. Sampel yang diambil adalah 4 UIN yang memiliki media sosial yang relatif aktif melakukan update. Validitas data dilakukan dengan validasi data secara internal maupun data silang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial bervariasi, di Facebook dan Instagram untuk kegiatan akademik termasuk promosi untuk calon mahasiswa baru dominan terjadi di semua lokasi penelitian dan diimbangi dengan konten ucapan kegiatan nasional dan keagamaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengelolaan website dan subdomain dalam konteks akreditasi 9 kriteria terutama pada kriteria 4, kriteria 7 dan 8 terutama karya yang dihasilkan dosen, tenaga kependidikan serta mahasiswa. Metode yang dipakai dalam riset ini adalah analisis konten. Cara menelaahnya dengan mengamati konten yang ada di website perguruan tinggi dan subdomain dengan validasi teks-teks yang diunggah secara umum maupun secara khusus pada IAIN Surakarta. Website utama maupun subdomain ada 13 tetapi yang diambil hanya 7 buah dengan dasar unit kerja yang langsung bersinggungan dengan civitas akademika dan melaksanakan aktivitas tridharma perguruan tinggi. Data bersumber dari konten pada website dan subdomain dengan divalidasi melalui angket. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan dijelaskan dengan menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengacu pada akreditasi 9 kriteria dengan titik tekan pada kriteria 4, 7 dan 8. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa website dan subdomain masih belum lengkap dilihat dari kriteria 4, 7 dan 8.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how educational institutions prepare strategies and concepts for their students in the current era of disruption, especially in strengthening character formation in Generation Z. An era that offers acceleration in various areas of life, one of them is acceleration in uprooting the established foundations of life. The research method used in this research is library research with an analytical descriptive approach. The results of this study are that education must be able to present linear strategies and concepts with the characteristics of the Z-generation. One of these concepts is through a personal-constructive approach in strengthening the character education of students, especially the Z-generation. This approach was carried out as the Sufis in ancient times tried to improve their morals in totality before God and humans, namely through self-awareness of their spiritual potential and concrete actions that focused on fundamental things such as repentance, patience, sincerity, etc.

Abstract

This study explores the leadership of Sultan Suleiman I (1520-1566), focusing on the reforms he implemented and their impact on the stability and prosperity of the Ottoman Empire, as well as the ambiguities in the line of succession that contributed to the empire's decline. The aim of the research is to analyze reforms in the fields of economy, military, culture, and politics, along with the implications of internal conflicts among Suleiman's sons. The methodology employed is historical research consisting of five stages: topic selection, source collection, verification, interpretation, and historiography, utilizing data from books, journals, and articles. This research differs from previous studies that primarily emphasize the positive aspects of Suleiman's leadership by highlighting the failures in succession training and the resulting internal tensions. The findings indicate that while Suleiman I achieved significant advancements, his lack of attention to succession training and clear lines of succession contributed to the decline of power and influence of the Ottoman Empire after his death, underscoring the importance of effective leadership in maintaining the continuity of a kingdom. Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam bagaimana Pendidikan Islam itu harus direkonstruksi di tengah-tengah keterdesakan degradasi moral dan karakter yang semakin merosot. Hal menarik lainnya, tantangan yang semakin kompleks tersebut berada pada era di mana kecerdasan buatan atau Artificial Intelligence sudah sangat mendominasi kehidupan umat manusia yang pada akhirnya merubah totalitas perilaku manusia baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan, di mana acuan utamanya adalah mencoba menggabungkan berbagai literatur yang kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Islam harus memiliki komitmen yang lebih di dalam mengembangkan pendidikan akhlak, adab, maupun pendidikan karakter dengan tidak hanya berbicara ayat Al-Qur`an, namun bagaimana ayat Al-Qur`an itu bisa ditransmisikan secara pasti dan memiliki dampak yang dapat terukur di dalam kehidupan yang nyata.
