Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parenting styles on juvenile delinquency that occurred at the Al-Fattah Islamic boarding school, Sukoharjo, in 2023. Methodology: This type of research uses quantitative methods with survey research types. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire given to the students of the Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School. Result: The results of this study indicate that the level of influence of parenting, namely variable X, has an influence on juvenile delinquency, namely variable Y. It is proven from the results of the t test, namely with a significance level of 0.007 <0.05. Limitation: This study has limited research space so that the data obtained and the analysis are more focused on the topics that have been determined. So the limitation of this research is to examine the influence of the parenting style of students at the al-Fattah Sukoharjo Islamic boarding school in 2023. Contribution: This research has many contributions to parents in educating their children and is an academic development for the science of child education.

Abstract

Moral education is an integral part of Islamic education, aiming to develop individuals of character, religious devotion, and good manners. Imam Ibn Hibban and Al-Harith bin Asad Al-Muhasibi provide unique perspectives on the goals, content, and methods of moral education. This study examines the differences and similarities between their views, focusing on intellectual and spiritual approaches in moral education. Imam Ibn Hibban emphasizes the role of knowledge and intellect in fostering a love for good morals and avoiding vice. He sees morality as a reflection of one's intellectual understanding, requiring education to integrate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor elements. Conversely, Al-Harith bin Asad Al-Muhasibi approaches moral education through a Sufi lens, prioritizing the purification of the soul (tazkiyatun nafs) and closeness to Allah. He stresses the importance of controlling desires, introspection (muhasabah), and spiritual role models in shaping morals. Both scholars agree on the significance of manners and environmental influences in shaping behavior but differ in their emphasis on knowledge and manners as the foundation of morality. The findings underscore that Islamic moral education is rooted not only in knowledge but also in profound spiritual and moral dimensions.

Abstract

The community of Putrajawa, Selaawi Garut, is known for its cultural and religious diversity. Parents face the challenge of ensuring that Islamic religious education within the family instills not only religious understanding but also an appreciation for diversity. Exclusive religious teachings can foster intolerance, making it crucial to embed values of tolerance and inclusivity, especially in primary school-aged children. Parents play a strategic role in teaching these values through multicultural-based Islamic religious education. This study explores the implementation of multicultural Islamic religious education for primary school-aged children in Putrajawa, Selaawi Garut, focusing on the goals, materials, and methods of multicultural education in the family context. The research used a descriptive-qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and triangulation. The results show that parents aim to raise children who are religious, respect diversity, and are tolerant. Educational materials include teaching monotheism, worship, noble morals, cultural diversity, and universal values like justice and respect. Methods include setting good examples, fostering good social relations, promoting independence, and guiding children with gentleness.

Abstract

This study analyzes the actualization of environmental hadith in the success of the Cirebon climate city program through mitigation and adaptation efforts due to climate change. Religion plays a vital role in mitigation and adaptation efforts due to climate change, however, it is often overlooked. The research problem in this study is how environmental hadith is actualized to make the Cirebon climate city program successful through mitigation and adaptation efforts due to climate change. This research uses qualitative methods. The unit of analysis is the community that actualizes environmental hadith in the success of the Cirebon climate city program. Informants were selected using purposive techniques such as clerics, students, environmental activists, Proklim residents, and the government. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data sources are primary and secondary. Data analysis is processed using triangulation techniques. The results showed that environmental hadiths were actualized in the success of the Cirebon climate city program. The actualization of environmental hadith is manifested in various social movements based on environmental justice carried out by both the government and the community, such as the climate village program (proklim) which is spread across various locations in the city of Cirebon. Institutions/organizations as well as religious actors/agents are inspired and motivated to carry out social movements due to hadiths about the environment. This study concludes that the environmental crisis in Cirebon City forces all elements of society and the government to mitigate and adapt to climate change. One of the mitigation and adaptation efforts due to climate change in Cirebon City is the climate village program (Proklim) in 15 different locations. Hadith has a very important influence on the implementation of the Cirebon City climate village program (Proklim) in efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

Abstract

Perkara Pengadilan Agama Surabaya Nomor: 0378/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Sby mengenai permohonan penetapan ahli waris non muslim. Dalam hukum Islam maupun dalam KHI tidak ada yang menjelaskan mengenai kebolehan saling mewarisi antara muslim dan non muslim. KHI hanya dijelaskan mengenai wasiat wajibah yang diberikan kepada anak angkat dan orang tua angkat saja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pertimbangan hukum yang digunakan untuk menetapkan permohonan tersebut serta bagaimana analisis mengenai wasiat wajibah bagi ahli waris non muslim ditinjau dari kewarisan Islam dan hak asasi manusia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah library research menggunakan bahan hukum primer berupa penetapan Nomor: 0378/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Sby dengan pendekatan yuridis-normatif. Teknik pengumulan datanya yaitu melalui dokumentasi menggunakan metode berfikir deduktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dasar pertimbangan hukum yang digunakan hakim dalam menetapkan perkara Nomor: 0378/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Sby berupa ketentuan pasal 171, pasal 173 huruf b dan c, pasal 174 ayat 2, dan juga QS. An-Nisa ayat 7. Menurut kewarisan Islam seorang yang beragama non muslim tidak dapat menjadi ahli waris karena dia terhalang untuk mendapatkan waris, tetapi menurut teori hak asasi manusia penetapan non muslim yang mendapatkan bagian melalui wasiat wajibah merupakan suatu bentuk penegakkan keadilan serta menjunjung hak asasi manusia berdasarkan maslahah dalam ruang lingkup maqashid as-syari’ah dengan menjaga prinsip maslahah yaitu hifdz al-mal.

Abstract

Nature school education is an effort to change the behavior and attitudes carried out by various parties or elements of society which aims to increase knowledge, skills and public awareness about natural values ​​and issues of natural problems which in turn can move the community to take an active role in conservation and safety efforts. Environment for the benefit of present and future generations. Nature education can facilitate the achievement of high-level skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, integrative thinking and problem solving. The concept that is offered from the nature-based school education system is a very interesting concept to explore more deeply. Wangsakerta Nature School, Karangdawa Hamlet, Setupatok Mundu Village, West Java is one of the many Nature Schools that have been established in various regions in Indonesia, located in shady rice fields and plantations, far from vehicle pollution. Abstrak Pendidikan sekolah alam adalah upaya mengubah prilaku dan sikap yang dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak atau elemen masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang nilai-nilai alam dan isu permasalahan alam yang pada akhirnya dapat menggerakkan masyarakat untuk berperan aktif dalam upaya pelestarian dan keselamatan lingkungan untuk kepentingan generasi sekarang dan yang akan datang. Pendidikan alam dapat mempermudah pencapaian keterampilan tingkat tinggi seperti berfikir kritis, berfikir kreatif, berfikir secara integrative dan memecahkan masalah.Konsep yang ditawarkan dari sistem pendidikan sekolah berbasis alam merupakan konsep yang sangat menarik untuk digali kembali lebih dalam lagi. Sekolah Alam Wangsakerta Dusun Karangdawa Desa Setupatok Mundu Jawa barat merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak Sekolah Alam yang telah di didirikan diberbagai daerah di Indonesia, yang berlokasi di persawahan dan perkebunan yang rindang, jauh dari polusi kendaraan.

Abstract

This study explains empowering Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMW) through Productive Migrant Village Programs (PMVP) in the Banyumas Regency. PMVP is a program of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia held since 2016. The program aims are to empower, improve services and protection for IMWs starting from the village. The paradigm of the study is a constructivist paradigm by using a critical model. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which explores data to get the meaning of the basic and essential things of the empirical phenomena experienced by the research subject. The results of the research are 1). In providing information about the process of migrant workers faced with challenges from recruitment agencies/recruitment companies (Private Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Agency). 2). In the stage of the production process, there are obstacles that the equipment provided by the Ministry cannot use. 3). The care of children of migrant workers is still individual only to their families. The community even still stigmatizes them as children who deserve problems since their parents abandoned them. 4). Late initiation of the migrant workers’ cooperatives. Procedures for establishing migrant workers cooperatives, mentoring, and guidance specifically related to migrant workers are needed.
