Abstract

ABSTRAK HIV atau Human Immunodeficiency Virus adalah sejenis virus yang menyerang atau menginfeksi sel darah putih yang menyebabkan turunnya kekebalan tubuh manusia. HIV merupakan penyakit menular yang salah satunya melalui hubungan seksual. Kesadaran seksual merupakan hal penting bagi penderita HIV yang harus ditunjang oleh pendidikan yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program pendidikan seksual dengan media audiovisual terhadap sexual awareness pasien HIV. Penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah quasy experiment without control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien HIV yang melakukan rawat jalan di Poliklinik HIV di RSUD Sayang Kabupaten Cianjur. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus sampel uji beda dua proporsi maka didapatkan jumlah 21 responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu media audiovisual, kuesioner data demografi, dan kuesioner sexual awareness. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada pengaruh pendidikan seksual dengan media audiovisual terhadap sexual awareness pasien HIV di RSUD Sayang Kabupaten Cianjur didapatkan nilai signifikan 0,015 (sig < 0,05). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu acuan dalam pelayanan kesehatan sehingga peran perawat sebagai educator akan tercapai dengan maksimal dan meminimalkan penularan HIV AIDS.

Abstract

First year university students would experience a transition period from high school to college. This transition period was a challenge experienced by new students. Several aspects that were influential in overcoming these challenges include achievement motivation, adaptability, and self-efficacy. The aim of this research was to determine the description of achievement motivation, self-efficacy and adaptability in First Semester Students of D3 Keperawatan Politeknik Negeri Indramayu. This research was a descriptive observational study, with the research subjects was 1st semester of D3 Keperawatan Politeknik Negeri Indramayu, totaling 94 students. Data collection techniques in the research used the Achievement Motivation Scale, Self-Efficacy Scale, and Adaptation Ability Scale. The research results showed that the level of achievement motivation, adaptability, and self-efficacy of 1st semester of D3 Keperawatan Politeknik Negeri Indramayu is quite adequate.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is an indicator to see the level of women's health. Based on the Indonesian Health Demographic Survey (SDKI), MMR in Indonesia in Indonesia, the maternal mortality rate in Indonesia was 305/100,000 live births, with this, maternal mortality cases in Indonesia still have not succeeded in reaching the SDG's target,. Meanwhile in Indramayu Regency in 2023, namely 34 mothers out of 42,569 births, a decrease from the figure in 2022. Indramayu Regency has the highest prevalence of anemia, namely 32.29%. The aim of this research is to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about anemia at the Plumbon Regency Health Center Indramayu. The method used is descriptive research with a cross-sectional research design. Data was obtained using a questionnaire sheet from previous research which was then retested with a total of 35 mothers as respondents. The results showed that respondents had a good level of knowledge of 48.1%, 77.8% were aged 20-35 years, 81.5% had a high school/vocational school education, and 55.6% did not work. The conclusion is that the majority of mothers who have well-informed babies are aged 20-35 years, have a high school/vocational education, and do not work.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major cause of heart failure, stroke and kidney failure. Prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia in the urban and rural areas ranged between 17-21%. Smoking is one cause that can affect blood pressure. The aim of this research is to discover the relationship between the smoking activity and hypertension on men aged 45 year-old and older in Klinik Pratama Cinangsih Medika Cianjur. This research is a correlative descriptive. The approach used cross-sectional with total samples were 98 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was questionnaire. Data was obtained through questionnaires distribution and interviews, and blood pressure measurement. The data collected was processed by using Chi-square statistical test with degree of significance p value < 0.05. The result showed 74 people (75,5%) smoked and those who suffered hypertension were 75 people (76,5%). From bivariate test result showed there is relationship between number of cigarettes taken and hypertension (p = 0,005), there is relationship between way of smoking and hypertension (p = 0,008), there was no relationship between smoking duration and hypertension (p = 0,059), there is relationship between type of cigarette and hypertension (p = 0,027), and there is relationship between the activity of smoking and hypertension (p = 0,007). Suggestions the researcher can propose concerning this research are to reduce hypertension risk as the effect of smoking, cigarette consuming should be decreased gradually to stop smoking in advance, the result of this research can be served as reference in dealing with patients suffering for hypertension, especially, in Cianjur. Abstract

Nursing students need to have adequate competence related to patient safety. Patient safety is a system aimed at providing safe healthcare services, preventing incidents for patients, and improving patient services. Knowing students' perspectives is necessary to understand how they think in response to what they have done or learned about patient safety. It is critical to evaluate nursing students' perspectives on patient safety competency and assess their level of competence. The results can be used to formulate plans to improve students' proficiency in patient safety among healthcare professionals. The design of this research is descriptive, with 108 respondents participating in filling out the Patient Safety Survey (PSS) instrument. The research results analyze students' competencies in three domains, namely patient safety review, patient safety issues, and incident reporting. The analysis results show that in the domain of patient safety review, 79.63% of respondents have a good perspective. In the domain of patient safety issues, 71.30% of respondents had a good perspective. Similarly, in the incident reporting domain, the majority of respondents also had a good perspective, which was the highest among the other domains, at 83.33%. Overall, it can be concluded that the survey results indicate that the respondents have a good perspective, with 82 respondents out of a total of 108 respondents (75.93%). Students who have attended patient safety management lectures and completed clinical nursing practice have good competence in patient safety. Future research is expected to be conducted in various cultural and contextual backgrounds to enhance the understanding of variables that influence patient safety in nursing practice and education

Abstract

Health Promotion on HIV/AIDS is very important for adolescents to improve their understanding of transmission, prevention, treatment, and its social impacts. The Community Service Program (PKM) by the Indramayu State Polytechnic was implemented at SMK MITRA MARITIM INDRAMAYU, Indramayu Regency, with the aim of improving students' understanding of HIV/AIDS. The activity methods include material presentation, interactive discussions. A total of 45 students participated in this program. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of education. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of HIV/AIDS, including the differences between HIV and AIDS, symptoms, and the importance of antiretroviral therapy (ARV). In addition, students became more aware of the social stigma against People with HIV/AIDS and how to provide support to friends who are infected. This program not only strengthens awareness of HIV/AIDS, but also empowers students to become agents of change. It is hoped that this program can be sustainable in order to form a younger generation that is more health conscious.
