Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu metoda yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru-guru mengenai manfaat dan detail teknis pelaksanaan PTK. Tujuan lainnya adalah untuk menjadikan PTK sebagai sebuah kebutuhan bagi guru untuk mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan singkat yang diikuti oleh seluruh guru di SMKN 12 Garut. Mengacu pada tata laksana action learning, pelatihan terbagi dalam beberapa tahapan dalam tiga kelompok besar yakni, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman guru mengenai Pelatihan Tindakan Kelas, serta meningkatnya kesadaran guru mengenai pentingnya pelaksanaan PTK sebagai bagian dari evaluasi pembelajaran secara rutin.

Abstract

In Indonesia, sick building syndrome (SBS) and related health problems are suspected among the residents in emerging new urban houses constructed of modern building materials without sufficient material standards or minimum ventilation rates. First, this study investigates the current conditions of indoor air quality (IAQ) and health in newly constructed high-rise apartments in major cities of Indonesia, in contrast with traditional landed houses, the so-called Kampongs. Concentrations of formaldehyde and TVOC were measured, whereas a face-to-face interview was conducted. A total of 896 respondents were interviewed, and 207 rooms were measured during 2017-2019. The results showed that overall, the newly constructed apartments recorded higher formaldehyde levels compared to Kampongs. The status of the self-reported multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) among occupants was significantly different between the two building types. Furthermore, the occupants with higher levels of TVOC, in particular, were associated with the higher MCS risks, especially in the apartments. Second, we conducted a modification project in several apartment units of Surabaya to examine the effects of exhaust fans on IAQ. In most units, the concentrations of both formaldehyde and TVOC were reduced after the modification. Further, a follow-up measurement was conducted in the same units for about a month.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of generative design through Autodesk Forma, a cloud-based AI platform, to optimise architectural decision-making in the preliminary design stage of a ten-story hotel in Cirebon City, Indonesia—a region characterised by a hot and humid climate. The research employed simulations based on five environmental parameters: sun hours, daylight potential, wind distribution, microclimate conditions, and solar energy. Three optimal models were selected based on orientation, spatial configuration, and environmental responsiveness. Subsequent development simulations were conducted on these three models by refining openings, adding vegetation, and enhancing shading strategies. Model-2 emerged as the best-performing design. It demonstrated an energy efficiency potential of approximately 23%, achieved through improved daylighting (VSC ≥ 27% on most facades), reduced reliance on artificial cooling due to stable microclimatic conditions (temperatures moderated by 2–3°C during peak hours), and the integration of solar panels generating an estimated 165,000 kWh/year from 40% roof coverage at 10% efficiency. The results confirm that AI-driven generative design can significantly accelerate the design process while enhancing environmental performance. This approach supports energy-efficient architecture in tropical regions, although it requires access to advanced technology, skilled practitioners, and robust internet connectivity.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry in Indonesia continues to face warehouse operational inefficiencies that contribute to prolonged lead times and disrupted material flows. This study aims to identify research characteristics and lean warehousing implementation practices, analyze dominant types of waste, and evaluate their impact on lead time reduction. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted on seven eligible articles, complemented by bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer based on keyword co-occurrence. The findings indicate that value stream mapping (VSM), process activity mapping (PAM), and fishbone diagram are the most frequently applied tools. Waiting, transportation, and overprocessing were identified as the dominant wastes across all reviewed studies. Bibliometric analysis reveals that the keywords lead time and warehouses exhibit the highest connectivity and density, indicating their central role in the research landscape. Consistent implementation of lean warehousing proved to be significantly and positively effective in improving time efficiency, with an average lead time reduction percentage of 15.8%, ranging from 4.5% to 32.5%. These findings demonstrate that lean warehousing is an effective approach to improving warehouse operational efficiency in the manufacturing sector
