Abstract

Mud crab is an aquatic species that generally lives in the mangrove ecosystem. Aceh Jaya Regency has a mangrove ecosystem as a habitat for various organisms, especially mangrove crabs that need protection from damage and pollution. This study aims to determine the area of mangrove crab breeding sites in Aceh Jaya Regency. This study used observation and interview methods with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained is described descriptively and presented in the form of maps and tables. The results of the study are that mud crab breeding sites are easy to find, with ecosystem environmental quality that supports the growth and breeding of mud crabs which is characterized by the diversity of mangrove species and aquatic species as a supporting factor for mud crab breeding sites.Keywords: mud crab, mangrove ecosystem, breeding siteKepiting bakau merupakan spesies perairan yang umumnya berhabitat dikawasan ekosistem mangrove. Kabupetan Aceh Jaya memiliki ekosistem mangrove sebagai habitat berbagai organisme terutama kepiting bakau yang memerlukan perlindungan dari kerusakkan dan pencemaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kawasan breeding site kepting bakau di Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh diuraikan secara deskriptif dan disajikan dalam bentuk peta dan tabel. Hasil penelitian yaitu kawasan breeding site kepiting bakau mudah ditemukan, dengan kualitas lingkungan ekosistem yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangbiakan kepiting bakau yang ditandai dengan keberagaman spesies mangrove dan spesies perairan sebagai faktor pendukung breeding site kepiting bakau.Kata kunci: kepiting bakau, ekositem mangrove, breeding site

Abstract

The golden snail is a pest causing rice crop failure. The control of golden snails generally uses pesticides that can cause damage to the environment so that other alternatives are needed that can control the golden snail, namely natural pesticides. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of oleander leaf extract and neem leaves on the mortality of Keong Mas after 12 hours of treatment. The method used in this research is the experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern. There were 2 factors in the study, namely factor A (oleander leaf) and factor B (neem leaf) with each having 4 levels so that there were 16 treatment combinations and 3 replications with a total of 48 treatments. The objects used as test animals were golden snails totaling 480. The results of the study after 12 hours of observation, in the N3A3 treatment showed that there was an effect of the combination of oleander leaf extract with neem leaves which caused 30 test animals to die with a mortality rate of 100%. The conclusion from this study is that the combination of oleander leaf extract with neem leaves greatly influences the mortality of the golden snail.Keywords: toxicity, mortality, golden snailKeong mas adalah hama yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan hasil panen padi. Pengendalian keong mas umumnya menggunakan pestisida kimia yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada lingkungan sehingga dibutuhkan alternatif lain yang dapat mengendalikan keong mas yaitu pestisida alami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kombinasi ekstrak daun oleander dengan daun mimba terhadap mortalitas Keong Mas setelah 24 jam perlakuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola Faktorial. Metode ini memiliki 2 faktor dalam penelitian yaitu faktor A (daun oleander) dan faktor B (daun mimba) dengan masing-masing memiliki 4 taraf sehingga terdapat 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan jumlah total 48 perlakuan. Objek yang digunakan sebagai hewan uji yaitu keong mas berjumlah 480. Hasil penelitian setelah pengamatan 24 jam, pada perlakuan N3A3 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kombinasi ekstrak daun oleander dengan daun mimba yang menyebabkan 30 hewan uji mati dengan tingkat mortalitas sebesar 100%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kombinasi ekstrak daun oleander dengan daun mimba sangat berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas keong mas.Kata kunci: toksisitas, mortalitas, keong mas

Abstract

Broiler chickens are superior breeds of chickens resulting from crosses from chicken breeds that have high productivity, especially in producing meat. This research aims to identify the effect of the accumulation of chicken feather meal as a bonus feed on the weight gain of broiler chickens. The research procedure used was an Experiment with 4 treatments and 6 replications, namely P0 = control (100% natural bran feed), P1 = 95% natural bran feed + 5% chicken feather flour, P2 = 90% natural bran feed + chicken feather flour 10%, P3 = 85% natural bran feed + 15% chicken feather flour. Information was analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results of the research show that giving chicken feather flour as an additional feed for weight gain of broiler chickens has a significant effect on weight gain of broiler chickens in the second week, fourth week, or sixth week. The conclusions of the research are: Chicken feather flour affects the weight gain of broiler chickens.Keywords: Feather flour, feed, broiler chickens Ayam broiler ialah unggas tipe ras terbaik hasil modifikasi dari genus ayam yang dapat produktivitas tinggi, paling utama dalam memperoleh daging. Riset ini bertujuan mengenali pengaruh akumulasi tepung bulu ayam selaku pakan tambahan mempengaruhi pertambahan bobot tubuh ayam broiler. Tata cara riset yang digunakan merupakan Ekperimen dengan 4 perlakuan serta 6 ulangan ialah P0 = kontrol (pakan dedak 100%), P1= pakan dedak 95%+ tepung bulu ayam 5%, P2= pakan dedak 90%+ tepung bulu ayam 10%, P3= pakan dedak 85%+ tepung bulu ayam 15%. Data dianalisis dengan Analisis Varian (ANAVA). Hasil riset membuktikan kalau pemberian tepung bulu ayam selaku pakan tamabahan buat pertambahan bobot ayam broiler berpengaruh nyata kepada penambahan berat badan ayam broiler di pekan kedua, pekan keempat, ataupun pekan keenam. Kesimpulan riset merupakan: Tepung bulu ayam mempengaruhi terhadap pertambahan berat tubuh ayam broiler.Kata kunci: Tepung bulu ayam, pakan, ayam broiler.
