Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research aims to reduce online gaming addictionthrough group counseling services. The methods used are questionnaires andobservation of the number of subjects studied were 10 students in two cycles , each cycleconsisting of three acts. Started from awarding the behavior contract as a form of writtenagreements for students to be responsible for the activities of group counseling and theprovision of a worksheet each after the counseling given as excavation problems andknowledge of students. The results showed that group counseling services through onlinegaming addiction in students can be reduced. It knowed before given the action thestudent is in the category of online game addiction as high as 10 people, after being givencounseling services group of 3 students in middle category and 7 low category.Keywords: Online Game Addiction, Group Counseling.

Abstract

Cyber counseling is divided into various shapes, one form is the use of facebook. Guidance and counseling teacher in schools can implement the cyber counseling assited with facebook to reduce online game addiction the students who are more likely to prefer to communicate by text relationship, and students who do not feel comfortable with counseling services by face to face. Problems of children who are addicted Online Games at school require a relief to effort with Group Counseling assited with facebook services for addressing and alleviating the problems experienced, both personal and social through cyber counseling. The positive impact of service delivery cyber counseling assited with facebook is not out of the role from well counselors as providers to service with the active role of students while finding information on social media like Facebook, so socializing continually needs to be implemented furtherKeyword : Cyber Counseling, Facebook, Online Game Addiction

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling Teachers' Consultation (MGBK) is a community of teachers in the field of guidance and counseling. One of the main tasks of guidance and counseling teachers in schools is to guide students to become human beings with character as required by the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the complete goals of national education. However, not all guidance and counseling teachers have the competence to guard this goal. For this reason, guidance and counseling teachers need to be given training, so that they have adequate knowledge and skills in carrying out their duties. This training aims to increase the knowledge and skills of guidance and counseling teachers in implementing prophetic guidance. Prophetic guidance is designed with the aim of strengthening the character of students. The training method used socratic dialogue. The participants of the activity were 30 representatives from 30 high school, vocational, and MA schools in Pringsewu Regency, Lampung. The results of the training showed that 74% of participants stated that they really got the benefits and new knowledge, even as many as 61% of participants stated that they had increased their confidence. Thus, this service activity has a significant impact on improving the competence and performance of teachers in providing guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Indonesia bersinggungan dengan masalah sampah yang menjadi ancaman bagi kehidupan manusia. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) merupakan provinsi yang menanggung beban sampah yang melebihi daya tampung. Daerah di DIY yang memiliki masalah sampah adalah kampung Dirgantara yang berada di pinggir kali Opak Kalurahan Jogotirto Berbah Sleman. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah membuat program pengelolaan sampah melalui komunitas dan penguatan kelembagaan mitra. Kegiatan PkM yang diajukan sebagai bentuk dukungan ekonomi hijau, utamanya pada roda ekonomi masjid dengan mengurangi risiko lingkungan yang berasal dari sampah. Sejumlah metode palaksanaan dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan, diantaranya adalah pelatihan pengelolaan sampah, kampanye pengelolaan sampah, pelatihan pengelolaan sampah, workshop dan penguatan manajemen sistem pengelolaan sampah, dan sosialisasi sistem manajemen sampah kepada Masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan catatan anekdot, terjadi perubahan tingkah laku mitra, khususnya pada terjadinya pembenahan manajemen sistem pengelola, munculnya program kerja untuk pelaksanaan program sedekah sampah, dan dijalankannya sistem kerja pelaksanaan program sedekah sampah. Perubahan pada remaja dirgantara selaku mitra kegiatan, didukung dengan sikap masyarakat yang turut memberikan dukungan pada program sedekah sampah. Kegiatan PkM yang mengangkat tema sedekah sampah dapat menjadi salah satu Langkah kecil terkait dengan peliknya masalah sampah di kampung Dirgantara. Seyogyanya, hasil kegiatan Pk Mini dapat menjadi rujukan sejumlah pihak untuk mengimplementasikan program sedekah sampah sebagai upaya untuk pelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a key factor in forming identity and adolescent well-being. This can affect a adolescent life, including interpersonal relationships, academic achievement, and future success. Family social status is the social position held by a family in a society, which reflects the level of prestige, access to resources, and roles recognized by society. In social life, there are at least three kinds of positions, namely: (1) Ascribe status, (2) Achieved Status, (3) Assigned Status. In this study, it will reveal how self-confidence (self-confidence) of students in terms of family social status. The purpose of this article is to describe the self-confidence profile of students in terms of family background and parenting style. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a survey research design, a type of cross-sectional survey. The instrument used in this study was the Self-confidence inventory which was adapted from Gael Lindenfield's theory. Participants who were respondents in this study were junior high school students from public junior high schools in Pangandaran Regency, which consisted of three schools, namely: (1) Pangandaran 1 Public Middle School; (2) Pangandaran 2 Public Middle School; (3) Pangandaran 3 Public Middle School The number of respondents involved in this study was 150 people. The sample selection uses a probability sampling technique with total or saturated samples. The results of this study generally show that the self-confidence of junior high school youth in Pangandaran Regency tends to be in the medium category. Moreover, students with family social status who have a role in society tend to have high and moderate self-confidence. As for suggestions for future researchers who will conduct similar research, to conduct research by adopting a mixed method approach between quantitative and qualitative to obtain a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Percaya diri merupakan aspek penting bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan potensinya. Percaya diri merupakan keyakinan seseorang terhadap segala aspek kelebihan yang dimilikinya dan keyakinan tersebut membuatnya merasa mampu untuk bisa mencapai berbagai tujuan di dalam hidupnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengatasi rendahnya percaya diri siswa. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian ini adalah rancangan penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian ini direncakan akan dilaksanakan selama satu tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan lima tahapan, yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan; (2) perencanaan penelitian; (3) pengembangan produk awal; (4) uji lapangan terbatas; dan (5) revisi hasil uji lapangan terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari studi pendahuluan awal menunjukkan bahwa 6,72% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori sangat tinggi, 23,04% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori tinggi, 33,6% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori sedang, 21,12% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori rendah, dan 7,68% siswa memiliki percaya diri kategori sangat rendah. Seyogyanya hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi konselor dalam upayanya meningkatkan percaya diri siswa. AbstractSelf confidence is an important aspect for students in developing their potential. Self-confidence is a person's belief in all aspects of the advantages it has and that belief makes it feel able to achieve the various goals in life. The purpose of this study is to overcome the low self-esteem of students. Methods This research using the design of this research is the design of research development (research and development). This study is planned to be implemented for one year. This study uses five stages, namely (1) preliminary study; (2) research planning; (3) early product development; (4) limited field testing; and (5) revision of limited field test results. The results showed that from the preliminary preliminary study showed that 6.72% of students had very high confidence category, 23.04% students had high self-confidence category, 33.6% students had moderate self-confidence category, 21.12% confident category low, and 7.68% students have very low confidence category. The results of this study should be a guide for counselors in an effort to improve students' self-confidence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan solution focused brief counseling (SFBC) untuk menurunkan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik siswa di kelas khusus olahraga SMP Negeri 2 Galur Kulon Progo. Jenis penelitian yang digunaan adalah Eskperimen dengan desain penelitian Pre-Eksperimental Design menggunakan model One group pretest posttest design. Penentuan subjek menggunakan teknik non probability sampling design dengan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas khusus olahraga SMP Negeri 2 Galur Kulon Progo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan solution focused brief counseling (SFBC). AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of "solution focused brief counseling (SFBC)" to reduce the behavior of academic procrastination of students in the special sports class at Galur Negeri 2 Kulon Progo. Experiment with Pre-Experimental Design research design using One group pretest posttest design. Subjects are determined by using non probability sampling design with purposive sampling. The subjects of the study were students of the special sport class of JHS Negeri 2 Galur Kulon Progo. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are significant differences level of student academic procrastination between before and after being given solution services focused brief counseling (SFBC).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of resilience based on ethnicity and family conditions. The respondents were students from various levels of education from vocational high school, high school and junior high school education levels in the Mount Merapi slope area. The instrument used is the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) Short version-10 items that have been adapted with a reliability value of 0.801. The data analysis used was Kruskal Wallis non-parametric statistics as a test of tribal differences and family conditions. The results showed that there were no significant differences based on ethnicity and family conditions. The results of this study can be considered in designing guidance and counseling programs and services.

The instrument used is a scale using 2 forms, namely Scale I & Scale II. The results according tothis study clearly explain the application of Peer Counseling with Creative Arts based on Local Wisdom.

Abstract

The rapid digitization of education in a pandemic has an impact on academic stress conditions. Counsellors have not implemented various innovative media but need relevant and millennial media to support consulting services with podcasts. This article aims to analyze the feasibility of podcast media in consulting services to develop academic stress prevention skills. Research and development limited to five stages help know the feasibility of podcasts as support for consulting services, especially academic stress prevention skills. The data analyzed the feasibility questionnaire instrument through expert validators, media, and practitioners (counsellors) quantitatively with percentages and inter-rater analysis. The results of the research show that podcast media is quite relevant to use in consulting services. The relevance and accuracy of podcast media can adjust to the content of the supporting material. Prevention of academic stress isn’t only with knowledge but skills to cope with academic stress in all conditions, especially in pandemic and post-pandemic situations. Professional and millennial counsellors can develop skills in the use of podcast media in consulting services. Can use Podcast media directly in consulting services. Recordings of podcast results can be used indirectly in consulting services or group guidance services, group counselling, individual counselling, and classical guidance as a follow-up.
