Abstract

This study aims to prove that individual investors' psychology consisting of positive attitude, affective-self affinity, familiarity, trust, and nationalism affects investment decisions mediated by the extra motivation to invest. The data collected through questionnaires were processed and tested for the validity and reliability of the construct. Respondents in this study are individual investors who use psychological considerations as more motivation to make decisions and 404 questionnaires distributed to individual investors. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS). It passes the fit and quality indices model criteria to determine the strength of this study's structural model before the hypothesis testing is carried out. We found four psychological variables of individual investors (positive attitude, familiarity, trust, and nationalism) that directly affect investment decisions and indirectly with the mediator of extra motivation to invest. Extra incentive to invest is not influenced by affective-self affinity and does not mediate its relationship with investment decisions. We also found that investors with psychological considerations tend to make biased decisions. Investors show behaviour that is overreaction, overconfidence, and risk tolerance (low risk with high return). JEL Classification: F52, G11, G41DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/jkdp.v24i4.4837

Qualitative research methods, through observation, focus group discussions (FGD), and questionnaires, as well as data analysis techniques including difference tests and SWOT analysis. The research results show that there are significant differences between government policies and the expectations of SMEs, while the results of the SWOT analysis show that SMEs have strengths to be developed such as the availability of local raw materials and market uptake, but have challenges such as limited access to funding, infrastructure, training and promotion. product. The position of SMEs is in quadrant two, the most appropriate diversification strategy, including product, market and place diversification. Government mitigation to support the development of SMEs, through policies developing road and transportation infrastructure to facilitate access to products and markets, providing markets for sales of superior products, training facilities for SMEs. Abstract

The current technological developments are no longer in doubt, even today technology has become a necessity in the sector of human life. Fingerprint is the only attendance tool that can meet data needs using only fingerprint verification. According to Hasibuan (2006194-198) good discipline reflects the magnitude of a person's sense of responsibility for the tasks assigned to him. In conducting research, an analytical method is needed related to the problems in this study. This study uses quantitative analysis with two variables using fingerprint and work discipline. According to Sugiyono (2012: 92) the results of data analysis were collected through distributing questionnaires formed through a measuring scale. Based on the research, it shows that the objective and ability variables significantly influence work discipline: It is known that the tcount value of the objective and ability variable is -2.205 while the ttable value is 2.02439. This means tcount -2.205 ttable 2.02439, so it can be concluded that the objective and ability variables significantly influence work discipline. In the X validity test (factors of work discipline) it is declared valid because it is seen from the r count r table (0.263), the validity test (fingerprint/moderation system) is declared valid because it is seen from the r count r table (0.263), and the Y variable test ( work discipline) is declared valid because it can be seen from the r count r table (0.263).

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak is one of the vocational schools in Pontianak City that has not applied investment management knowledge in the capital market so students cannot understand the concept of capital markets in the business world. Apart from that, students' knowledge about capital markets is also very minimal due to the low level of literature and practice related to capital markets. It is hoped that this activity will trigger awareness, interest, and knowledge from the younger generation to invest in the capital market. Apart from that, this training also aims to introduce students to investment mechanisms in the Capital Market. This training starts from the preparation stage, namely surveying, determining target locations, preparing facilities and infrastructure for activities, and preparing training materials, including modules for training activities. The stages of implementing the activities are the presentation of material and investment training with simulations using the Motion Trade application.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a crucial pillar of the Indonesian economy. While the city of Pontianak possesses substantial potential for MSME development, several challenges persist, notably within the institutional framework. This study aims to evaluate the performance of MSMEs in Pontianak, specifically from an institutional perspective. Employing a big data approach, this research analyzes MSME performance across various dimensions, including productivity, efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness. Prior research indicates that MSME performance in Pontianak is not yet optimal, which is attributed to factors such as the low quality of human resources, limited access to financing, and regulatory impediments. This study adopts a quantitative methodology utilizing a survey-based approach. The population for this study comprises 1,840 MSME operators in Pontianak. A sample of 185 respondents was selected for data collection. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS software. Path analysis was primarily employed to examine the comparative strength of direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results demonstrate that external factors significantly impact innovation (p < 0.001). Internal factors also exhibit a significant effect on innovation (p < 0.05). External factors have a significant negative impact on performance (p < 0.001), whereas the effect of internal factors on performance is not statistically significant (p > 0.05). Furthermore, innovation mediates the effect of external factors on performance (p < 0.001), and also mediates the effect of internal factors on performance (p < 0.05). Innovation itself also significantly impacts performance (p < 0.001).
