Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of decomposition, eco-farming, and their interactions on the development and harvest of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.).This research used a two-factor, three-cycle randomized factorial block design. Compost (K) application came first, and that was done on three different stages.: K0 = no treatment (control), K1, K2, and K3., K1 = 1.5 kg plot-1 and K2 = 3 kg plot-1. The second factor of Eco Farming (E) consists of 4 levels, namely E0 = no treatment (control), E1 = 1.5 ml L-1 of water, E2 = 3 ml L-1 of water and E3 = 4.5 ml L-1 of water. Parameters observed were plant height , number of tillers per clump and tuber weight per plot .The results showed that compost application significantly impacted plant height and tuber weight per plot, but not tillers per cluster. Eco-farming's inclusion has a highly significant effect on plant height, a noticeable effect on tuber weight per acre, but no discernible effect on tillers per cluster. None of the measured variables were affected significantly by the composting and sustainable agriculture interaction treatment.

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a vegetable plant belonging to the Brassicaceae family. This study aims to determine the application and interaction of liquid organic fertilizer (poc) onion skin on Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants. This investigation was conducted between February and April of 2022 at Jl. Eka Suka Gg. Eka Suka XI Gedung Johor Kecamatan Medan Johor Provinsia Sumatera Utara. This investigation utilized a Factorial Group Randomized Design with 2 studied factors and 3 replicates, where the first factor was Hen house (A) with 3 levels and the second factor was replicate A0 = no treatment (control), A1=1.5 kg plot-1, A2 = 3 kg plot-1. The second factor is the concentration of Liquid Organic Onion Skin fertilizer (B) consisting of 4 levels, namely B0 = without treatment (control), B1 = 50 ml L-1 water, B2 = 100 ml L-1 water, B3 = 150 ml L-1 water. As parameters, plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf length (cm), leaf breadth (cm), and fresh weight of plants per sample (g) and per plot (g) were measured. The results revealed that the use of poultry house had a significant effect on plant height, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, the fresh weight of plants per sample, and the fresh weight of plants per plot. Shallot peel liquid organic fertilizer has a very real effect on leaf length and fresh weight of plants per sample, a real effect on plant height and leaf width, but no real effect on leaf number and fresh weight of plants per plot. The interaction of hen house and onion peel liquid organic fertilizer has a significant impact on leaf length, leaf width, and fresh weight per plot, but no effect on plant height, number of leaves, and fresh weight per sample

Abstract

Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) are the second most important legume crop in Indonesia after soybeans. Providing Vermicompost and Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer can increase plant growth and production and can also improve the chemical and biological properties of the soil. This research aims to determine the response to the application of vermicompost fertilizer and petrobiofertile biological fertilizer and their interaction on the growth and production of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.). The research was carried out on the land of Karang Rejo Pasar I Village/Subdistrict, Stabat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level. This research was conducted from April to July 2023. This research used a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors studied and 3 replications where the first factor was Vermicompost (K) with 3 levels, namely: K0 (Control), K1 (2 Kg/ plot), K2 (4 Kg/plot) and the second factor is Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer (H) which consists of 4 levels, namely: H0 (Control), H1 (12 g/plot), H2 (24 g/plot), H3 ( 36 g/plot). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), pod weight per plot (g), pod weight per sample plant (g), weight of 100 dry seeds per plot (g). The results of the research showed that the application of vermicompost fertilizer had a very significant effect on the observed parameters such as plant height, pod weight per plot, pod weight per sample plant. The application of Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer had a very significant effect on all observed parameters such as plant height, pod weight per plot, pod weight per sample plant, weight of 100 dry seeds per plot. Meanwhile, the interaction of Vermicompost and Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer only had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height and pod weight per plot

Abstract

The development of digital technology today has a major impact on various aspects of human life. In bridging intercultural communication, translation has a significant role that cannot be separated from the help of technology. Technology also has brought changes in the way translation is done, including helping individual translators to increase efficiency. For example, with the help of machine translation, Google Translate continues to develop transformers and AI. On the other hand, ChatGPT, built on artificial intelligence, allows translation. Both adopt NLP. This study aims to determine the quality of the translation of both based on the TQA proposed by House. In addition, it assesses the level of similarity of the translation results and errors that occur based on the translation technique used. Translation samples were selected based on purposive sampling techniques, namely from a report chapter available on the internet in English. The samples were translated into Indonesian using Google Translate (GT) and ChatGPT (CG) and then analyzed using TQA. The results show that GT and CG have high similarities and insignificant error rates. This is possible because GT and CG continue to be developed over time to respond to and translate languages that are increasingly natural and resemble human language.

Abstract

Increasing P availaibility can be done using Phosphate solubilizing microorganism, but available information about indigenous phosphate solubilizing microorganism utilization from paddy soil that intensively fertilized with P is limited. The objectives of this experiment were to isolate, to select and to test the potential  of phosphate solubilizing fungi (PSF) in  increasing P availability, P uptake and rice production. Five isolates of PSF, referred to A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5 isolates, were belong to the Aspergillus genera. Field experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with one factor and 3 replications. The treatments consisted of 11 combinations of PSF and NPK fertilizer, i.e., without PSF + 100% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A1 + 50% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A1 + 100% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A2 + 50% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A2 + 100% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A3 + 50% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A3 + 100% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A4 + 50% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A4 + 100% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A5 + 50% rate of NPK fertilizer; PSF A5 + 100% rate of NPK fertilizer. Experiment results showed that application of  PSF isolates increased P availaibility, P uptake, rice growth and rice production significantly. Application of PSF A1 + 50% rate of NPK fertilizer was  the best treatment as indicated by the increased in weight of 1,000 rice grains, P availaibility and P uptake
