Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the online lecture process during the pandemic period, as well as measure the level of student satisfaction towards the implementation of online lectures at the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This research was descriptive study with a survey research model. Sample withdrawal was done by purposive sampling method, which determines the class of 2017- 2020 as a research respondent. The student assessment and satisfaction questionnaire were measured using the Likert scale with alternative answers 1 (dissatisfied) to 4 (very satisfied). The data was descriptively analyzed and bivariate using independent t-test and Anova one way tests. A total of 50.5% of students have a  good internet conditions. Lack of concentration is the most common problem (28.1%). The next problem is more lectures give students many assignments (17.6%). Overall, students' assessment of the online lecture process during the COVID 19 pandemic was good, While the level of student satisfaction with online lectures in the faculty of sports science is in the satisfied category. This result will be evaluated for lecturers and education personnel to continuously improve the quality of service to students.

Abstract

Health is an investment in the future of a nation as an important indicator of the quality of life. Most child health problems in schools can be prevented by promoting hygiene practices, nutritional status, and physical fitness through proper health education. This community service aims to educate students on personal hygiene, nutritional status, and physical fitness in schools to improve fitness, health status and quality of life. The method employed in this community service activity is the provision of materials accompanied by workshops and school mentoring. This activity is undertaken so that schools can be actively involved in integrating the implementation of educational programs on personal hygiene, nutritional status, and physical fitness. The outcomes of the activities that have been carried out demonstrate that the students and the school show a very good enthusiasm to participate in the whole series of activities from the beginning to the end. The school and students also evaluated that the community services team delivering material on personal cleanliness, nutritional status, and physical fitness were excellent and engaged. Through this activity, students increase their knowledge, build awareness, and learn to comprehend the need to practice personal cleanliness, consume a balanced diet, and engage in daily physical activity to preserve their health and fitness. In addition, students are committed to maintaining cleanliness, dietary habits, and fitness regularly.

Abstract

Guru profesional tentunya harus memiliki berbagai kemampuan, salah satunya adalah kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah. Namun sayangnya kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki cukup kemampuan dalam menulis karya ilmiah yang dipublikasikan dalam jurnal maupun layak dipresentasikan dalam acara seminar lokal atau regional. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah kombinasi presentasi materi dan pelatihan menulis artikel serta submit jurnal bagi guru di Sekolah Islam Shafta (SIS) Surabaya. Adapun langkah-langkah kegiatan yang ditempuh adalah koordinasi, penyampaian materi, praktik/pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan jika sebagian besar guru di SIS belum paham mengenai teknik penulisan karya ilmiah yang sesuai dengan aturan penulisan. Selain itu juga ditemukan bahwa hambatan terbesar guru dalam menulis artikel yaitu kesulitan mencari ide atau permasalahan (35.71%). Dengan adanya workshop ini, para guru mulai memahami cara menulis artikel dari awal hingga submit. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan workshop berdampak positif pada peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru mengenai penulisan artikel.

Abstract

Stres akademik adalah stres yang banyak dialami oleh mahasiswa, terutama pada mahasiswa semester akhir. Tubuh merespons stres berupa penurunan atau peningkatan nafsu makan yang dapat berdampak pada Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) mahasiswa. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stres akademik dengan IMT mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan subjek melalui teknik total samplingserta memperhatikan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Subjek didapatkan sebanyak 207 mahasiswa Program Studi Gizi semester akhir Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). Data stres akademik didapat melalui kuesioner Academic Stress Scale (ASS), IMT didapat melalui pengukuran berat badan menggunakan timbangan digital dan tinggi badan dengan microioise serta dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali pengukuran untuk diambil rata-rata. Analisis univariat berupa statistik deskriptif. Uji korelasi menggunakan Spearman’s rho sebagai analisis bivariat. Hasil didapatkan stres akademik tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan IMT (p-value=0,538). Disarankan penelitian selanjutnya untuk meneliti faktor lain seperti pola makan, aktivitas fisik, durasi tidur, faktor genetik, growth hormone, serta coping stress guna meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang stres akademik dan IMT.
