Abstract

The rise of the phenomenon of the decline of nationalism in Indonesian society in general and the people of Ngadirejo village where the majority of the population only have elementary school education (usually easily incited and sparked by issues). national insight in supporting environmental resilience. The method used is qualitative by collecting data through questionnaires that are filled out to village officials and the Ngadirejo village community. The results of this study are that first, the people and apparatus of Ngadirejo Village do not understand nationalism, especially those related to rights and obligations as citizens. Second, conveying knowledge about national insights and defending the country to the public can increase knowledge as well as a stimulant so that people understand better and can further increase nationalism and participate in development

Abstract

The sense of nationalism is diminishing due to globalization and current technological advances. One of them lost its sense of nationalism and knew more of Western artists than of heroes. Pancasila education is a very important education to instill the attitude and morality of the participants through the development and strengthening of the character of love for God and love for the homeland. Therefore, SMK Purnama Tempuran designed a program to strengthen the nationalist character of students through learning. The objective of this study is to explain how the application of nationalist character values in the learning process in schools and the factors that support and hinder the implementation of these values into adaptive learning approaches. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which is a kind of field study research. The results of the research show that the cultivation of nationalist character values in adaptive learning is carried out in two stages: planning and implementation. Factors supporting the cultivation of nationalist character values include support from the head, means and facilities, and teacher-student collaboration.

Abstract

A sense of Nationalism and National Insight is related to curiosity about the history of the Nation. Museums are a medium and means to assist knowledge of history because they play a role in the development of National culture, especially National education and Nationalist motivation. The Abdul Djalil Cadet Museum is a museum located at the Magelang City Military Academy. The Abdul Djalil Cadet Museum is one of the educational facilities at the Military Academy which visually presents a collection that plays a large role in the education process for future leadership officers. This research aims to find out how much influence the Abdul Djalil Military Academy Cadet Museum has on the National Insight of Magelang City High School Students and the most dominant factors influencing the Abdul Djalil Cadet Museum on the National Insight of Magelang City High School Students. The research uses quantitative methods with the technique used using Randon Sampling, using the Slovin formula. The population of this study was the average number of high school students who visited the Abdul Djalil museum within a period of 4 months with a sample of 60 high school students in Magelang City. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPPS version 11.5 and the results of the analysis were presented in table form. The results of Taruna Abdul Djalil's museum research on the National Insight of Magelang City High School students had a very strong influence of 0.804 and simultaneously or jointly it was 0.647 and the remainder was 0.353. The most dominant factor in the selected Museum variable is the story indicator with a percentage of 58.3 so it can be concluded that the story factor contained in the Adbul Djalil Taruna Museum variable greatly influences museum visitors towards national insight.

Abstract

The younger generation is the main driving force behind Indonesia's independence as it is today, certainly accompanied by a strong sense of nationalism since the movement in 1908 up to the present. However, along with the advancement of time and the unstoppable wave of globalization, the nationalism of the younger generation is actually declining. The Military District Command 0705/Magelang Has become one of the means to rekindle the spirit of nationalism among the youth, which has begun to wane, through territorial development activities. One of them is social communication implemented through school extracurricular activities. This research aims to determine the extent of the decline in nationalism among today's youth, particularly at  2nd High School Magelang, and to assess the impact of social communication from the Military District Command 0705/Magelang soldiers in efforts to enhance the sense of nationalism among today's youth. This study employs a quantitative method and uses simple random sampling, meaning the researcher intentionally selects respondents randomly without considering specific strata. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The research results indicate that there are several students at 2nd High School Magelang who still have a low sense of nationalism. One effort to enhance the students' sense of nationalism is through social communication methods by Military District Command 0705/Magelang. One of the social communication activities conducted by Military District Command 0705/Magelang is through regular extracurricular training held both at 2nd High School Magelang and at Military District Command 0705/Magelang. Then, in terms of calculations, social communication and the enhancement of nationalism are directly proportional, so it can be said that the social communication carried out by the soldiers of Military District Command 0705/Magelang has an influence on increasing the sense of nationalism among the students of 2nd High School Magelang.

Abstract

Mount Tidar is known as the "Pakuning of Java," standing at an elevation of 503 meters above sea level. It is a tourist attraction that remains pristine, as it is a forest predominantly covered with pine trees. This tourist site has preserved local wisdom that has developed in the community, namely the tombs of Kyai Semar, Kyai Sepanjang, and also the tomb of Syeh Subakir. Mount Tidar is inseparable from military education (AKMIL) as the Candradimuka crater that produces warrior officers of the Sapta Marga. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach involving interviews with local residents and stakeholders from the tourism area, including government officials and managers, to gather data. The collected data is then rechecked and refined through triangulation to obtain reliable results. The results of this research indicate that the local residents possess knowledge of the culture and local wisdom that has developed in the tourist site. Meanwhile, it is necessary for stakeholders to emphasize that the culture and local wisdom should be incorporated into the curriculum based on local wisdom. In addition, there is a need for training for tour guides to preserve history, the evolving culture, and local wisdom so that they continue to develop without being influenced by new cultures that have emerged recently. Residents also suggest the need for facilities and infrastructure to support the tourist attraction, one of which is the expansion of parking areas.

Abstract

Vocational High School is a formal educational institution whose mission is to prepare Indonesia's young generation who have the qualifications and skills according to the needs of the business and industrial world. In the current era of development of information technology, it has such a big impact on aspects of human life, including the field of education. One of the education sectors that has not escaped this impact is the Vocational High School (SMK). This study aims to describe the role of Babinsa Koramil 0811/09 in increasing the state defense value of SMK N Jatirogo students. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects were all grade 1 students of SMK N Jatirogo. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of the study stated that marching training can shape the character of SMK N Jatirogo students who are 1) Disciplined and orderly. 2) Have a leadership spirit. 3) Have a sense of cooperation. 4) Physically healthy. 5) Independent and have a sense of love for the motherland and are aware of defending the country.

Abstract

He rapid development of information technology is marked by the use of social media as part of a lifestyle in all levels of society, including in the Indonesian Army. The widespread use of social media has many positive and negative impacts. In the Indonesian Army, the use of social media is not prohibited, but its use is limited and regulated by rules. In fact, there are still Indonesian Army soldiers who use social media not in accordance with the rules, including in the 412/BES Mechanized Infantry Battalion. The ease of access to social media anywhere and anytime is the cause of the difficulty in controlling the use of social media. The leadership aspect of a Commander is a strategic and urgent aspect to overcome this problem. A Commander needs to determine the right steps to be able to control the use of social media by members. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the role of the Commander (Danton) in implementing field leadership, to find out the obstacles to implementing field leadership, and to determine the right strategy to prevent misuse of social media by members. This study uses a qualitative method with the SWOT analysis technique. The data sources used by the author in this Final Project come from a number of books, journals, articles, field observations and interviews with related parties. From the results of the study, it was found that the most appropriate strategy to achieve the objectives of the paper is to implement the "SO" strategy or called the expansion strategy. This strategy is carried out by utilizing strengths to seize opportunities. The various activities and actions of Danton that have been designed in this writing are the embodiment of this strategy. The conclusion of this study can be said that the formulation of clear and detailed actions is very necessary so that Danton can implement field leadership in preventing the misuse of social media by members. Thus, field leadership is not just a theory but becomes a real action that Danton can implement in preventing the misuse of social media by members

Abstract

As army officers, it is not uncommon for us to meet and interact with soldiers from other forces; who have traditions, doctrines and cultures that are different from ours. The comprehension to various cultures, traditions, doctrines and other forces cultures is necessary as a provision of knowledge for officers. One of the cultural forces discussed here is the culture on the Republic of Indonesia Warship (KRI) Tanjung Kambani. The culture at KRI is a representation of the culture of the Indonesian Navy. It is hoped that by getting to know of other forces cultures, understanding, respect and pride will arise; as well as a form of intercultural communication between fellow soldiers. An officer is expected to have good interpersonal skills and intercultural competence to provide knowledge for making decisions for the success of the main task and mitigating losses due to communication failures.

Abstract

In this OJS management mentoring and training activity at the Akademi Militer Magelang (Akmil) as a collaborative service activity between the Politeknik Pariwisata Batam and the Akmil. The target achievement of this activity is able to create a means of publishing scientific papers from the results of OJS-based research and service. This journal uses the V.3.3 type of PKP. So far the Military Academy itself has had a journal to publish the results of research and dedication of lecturers and students in printed form since 2011. Where the means of publication from 2011 to mid-2022 are Jurnal Teknik Sipil Pertahanan, Elektrosista, Mekanikasista, Mahatvavirya, Tidar Bakti, Adhitakarya Akademi Militer, Dwija Kusuma, Bunga Rampai Akademi Militer and Prosiding Seminar Nasional Akademi Militer. All of these journals which are means of publication are the objects of community service activities through mentoring and training. In this activity, the servant collaborated between the Akmil institution and the Batam Tourism Polytechnic, the method of service activities was carried out online as supported by the use of a live meeting-based information system to accelerate finding solutions and the priority scale of OJS-based publication journals was at Akmil. The method approach used is lectures, role play and demonstrative as well as direct practice in live meetings using zoom meetings that have been scheduled regularly and in a structured manner. The results obtained are participants are able to register at OJS as writers, can submit articles, then become part of the editorial board and can play a role in the regular and measurable OJS management process before the articles are published until the articles will be published by OJS. The limitations of long distances, time and instruments used during mentoring activities for community service activities can be minimized with the support of internet access technology that is quite good, the enthusiasm of the activity participants and a family atmosphere to jointly advance the Akmil in the consistency of research publications and community service using journals based OJS at Akmil. In the end all OJS in Akmil will be accredited in the National Journal Level, even indexed at the international level.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan bela negara kepada siswa SMU Kelurahan Gandon, Kabupaten Temanggung    dengan harapan  dapat meningkatkan   rasa   Wawasan Kebangsaan   di  kalangan  siswa.   Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang arti   pentingnya Wawasan Kebangsaan, dan juga mampu mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
