Abstract

This research aims to find out how to improve children's reading skills by using picture cards at the Pembina Lawe Pakam State Kindergarten, Southeast Aceh. The data collection technique used in this research is observation of children and teachers. Apart from observations, researchers conducted in-depth interviews with children and teachers regarding improving children's reading skills on picture cards at the Lawe Pakam State Kindergarten. The achievement level of improving reading comprehension for early childhood in the Lawe Pakam State Kindergarten with picture cards increases or not if the ability score reaches 85% or more. The model used is the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this research show that. Abstract

Makam sebagai peninggalan bersejarah memiliki manfaat besar dalam menyumbangkan informasi sejarah di tempat-tempat dan perkembangan sosial-budaya. Makam seringnya tidak menjadi perhatian khusus di kota Medan dibandingkan kota-kota di Jawa pada umumnya, bahwa makam memiliki aspek ekonomi dalam pelestarian warisan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan makam kuno di kawasan Martubung yang dapat dikelola sebagai sumber sejarah dan bermanfaat untuk pengembangan wisata pendidikan agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan penalaran induktif dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Temuan penelitian bahwa ada lima makam tua di Martubung, tetapi dua di antaranya dipilih untuk Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, yaitu: Makam Datuk Payung dan Makam Datuk Tongah. Para peneliti, mahasiswa, dan pemangku kepentingan berhasil menerapkan program pelestarian dan pengelolaan makam. Temuan lebih lanjut bahwa aktivitas arkeologis memiliki peran penting dalam melakukan penggalian untuk menemukan makam kuno lainnya sehingga mengorganisir pemberdayaan ekonomi di kawasan Martubung. Sebagai kesimpulan bahwa makam dapat menjadi sumber sejarah otentik untuk melacak informasi sejarah lebih lanjut tentang masa lalu. Selain itu, makam memiliki peran artistik yang dapat menarik banyak orang untuk datang berziarah dan memanfaatkan nilai-nilai agama dan pariwisata sehingga nilai budaya lokal dapat dilestarikan.

Abstract

This article explores the transformation of Islamic educational institutions in North Sumatra, Indonesia, focusing specifically on pesantren and madrasahs. This article used a qualitative approach that integrates historical, social, and philosophical analysis to examine changes and developments in the Islamic education system. The findings reveal that the evolution from traditional educational institutions to modern ones significantly impacts Islamic education approaches and practices, including management, learning strategies, and curriculum development tailored to contemporary educational needs. The discussion highlights the importance of pesantrens and madrasahs within Indonesia's national education framework and how these institutions adapt to the challenges of the times. The conclusion emphasizes the critical role of Islamic educational institutions in shaping and maintaining Indonesia's cultural and religious identity while providing education relevant to modern demands. This research offers insights into how Islamic educational institutions in North Sumatra endure and thrive amidst social and educational changes.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the history and planning of learning in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School, Batang Quiz District.As for the research method used, this type of research is qualitative research, namely field research, with the aim of explaining the phenomenon as deeply as possible through collecting data as deeply as possible. Methods of data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and document studies, data sources, data analysis and scrutinizing the validity of the data refers to qualitative research.The final results of this study indicate that 1) Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Modern Mawaridussalam is a Madrasa that has only been established since 2008, around 14 years old. From 2010 to 2022 the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Aliyah Private Mawaridussalam has been occupied by two people, namely: 1) Nurrokhman, SH., MM, period 2010-2015, and 2) Arief Persada Lift, S.Pd.I., MM, period 2016 – present. 2) Planning of learning activities in improving teacher performance in the Deli Serdang district Private Madrasah Aliyah, namely the Mawaridussalam Private Madrasah Aliyah is carried out by involving teachers to compile all of these programs, while the planning programs are, a) Learning implementation plans, b) Plans for learning approaches and methods , c) Planning for learning tools or media, d) Planning for learning evaluation, e) Planning for preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), f) Planning for hiring teachers/teachers, and g) Planning for teacher development.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this research is, how to apply learning motivation to PAI learning in integrated Islamic junior high schools in the city of Binjai from an Islamic counseling perspective. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. This research approach uses a phenomonological research approach. This research is classified as a type of field research, where the research objects and studies are carried out in the field. The results of this research are that institutions participate in the implementation of PAI learning, determine special teachers, namely guidance and counseling teachers and teachers who have a mandate to handle the sustainability of planned activities, and all parties in the school are obliged to follow and carry out planned activities.
