The inhibiting factor for students having difficulty in learning Arabic is that vocabulary mastery is still very limited, even though the vocabulary is an elementary language that must be mastered by foreign language learners including the Arabic Language. Therefore learning methods and strategies are very influential in the learning process and student's motivation to study. Learning strategies included in the design of domain learning technology. So the teacher in this school uses mind mapping strategies to solve the student's problem in mastering Arabic vocabulary. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative method. While the process, the researcher has a source of data from the mufradat/vocabulary learning process as well as the students involved in it. This paper discusses the implementation of learning technology (mind mapping strategy) to solve the problem of learning mufradat. And The results of this study prove that the mind mapping strategy help to improve mufradat mastery of the students and them following the learning process with pleasure.

Educational institutions are a learning environment that is a planned container that is believed to be able to change or shape children's character to be better than before with all their potential. The learning environment should be understood as an important factor in shaping the character of students after the family environtment. The thing that needs to be considered in the success of character education in schools is a conducive-academic environment.The school environment can affect the child's personality, and from the environment, students will learn and shape their character naturally.The result showed the things that affect to character formation in educational institution at Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah area conducive learning environment and then in its implementation exemplary models, habituation, and discipline from all parties so that there is a real role model for students how to give examples of real character in life.

Mu'jam almunjid is a famous mu'jam which is used by students in the world including muslim students in Indonesia. This mu’jam is considered as the most complete and comprehensive dictionary, because this is decorated with many pictures, colours and other advantages. So that many Islamic campuses and Islamic boarding schools around the world use this dictionary as the main dictionary. But the mu'jam which is used by many moslem students in this world was composed by two Catholic priests (rahib) named Fr. Louis Ma'luf al-Yassu’i and Fr. Bernard Tottel al-Yassu'i and was printed and distributed by a Catholic printing press since 1908. The use of the al-Munjid Dictionary, which has been used for a long time is not without opposition. Some ulama’ assume the dictionary is a part of an orientalist operation who have a hidden agenda to the Islamic world. Therefore, this study aims to present or peel the contents of the Al-Munjid dictionary by Louis Ma'luf. This study will focus on discussing the aspects of the definition, authors, purposes, methods, strengths and weaknesses and the opinions of scientists and scholars about this dictionary.

For muslims, Arabic language is more important than the other languages. One of the ways to understand Arabic is learn about it. Learning strategies have an important role in learning Arabic, including learning vocabulary. But, in reality Many students feel difficult to learn Arabic, especially in mastering mufradat and other materials. One of the reasons is the wrong process when studying mufradat. This paper describes the implementation of mind mapping strategy in learning Arabic vocabulary at Junior High School (SMP) Alam Banyuwangi. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that mind mapping strategy can help the teachers to solve the problem of learning Arabic, especially to improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Because mind maps use visual and sensory reminders in a pattern of related ideas. This map evokes original ideas and triggers memories easily.

Learning materials are very important in learning Arabic. But in reality, there are many learning processes that do not use even do not have the right textbooks or teaching materials, like the researcher found in Al-Khoiriyah Ma’hadul Qur’an dormitory Sukorejo Situbondo. This was impacting on their lack of speaking skills, while they have to communicate in Arabic and English everyday as bilingual dormitory. Therefore, they need specific learning textbooks so that teaching and learning activities can be directed correctly, especially the textbooks that can support learning maharah kalam, so they can improve their speaking skills. This study aims to preparation textbooks of maharah kalam using functional approach because students need materials that related with their daily activities and functional verbal expressions. The method of this research was research and development (R&D)"which was proposed by Borg and Gall. The design of the product trial went through the expert validation, content and instructional design expert. The results of this textbook trial showed that this textbook was effective to meet the students need to increase speaking skills which using pre-test and post-test exercise, with pre-test result from 58,6 then increase in post test to be 85 and also the result of the teachers and students questionnaire is very good and effective to use after using this product. Therefore the teaching materials useful for their Arabic daily communication

The Sam’iyah Syafahiyah or Audiolingual method arose in the fifties of the twentieth century as a of applying the doctrine of foreign language learning with the aim to helping American officers and soldiers acquire the languages of the peoples who were fighting them during war in quick and fruitful ways. Then this method developed rapidly and was used in language learning in the world including in learning English and Arabic language. This method is a combination of behaviorism theory in psychology and structural theory in linguistics and based on a structural approach in language teaching. The purpose of this method is to master the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. This is not much different from other language teaching methods, however the principle of this method is to teach speaking skills before writing "hearing and speaking" first, then reading and writing after that. This study aims to explore the early emergence of the Sam’iyah Syafahiyah method, so this study uses the literature study method in finding the data. The points in this study include the history of the emergence of the Sam’iyah Syafahiyah method, the theories and approaches used by this method, the functions of the learning elements (including teacher, students and teaching materials), the practice in learning Arabic language and the advantages and disadvantages of the Sam’iyah Syafahiyah method in learning Arabic language.

Reading the yellow book is no longer a new thing in the world of Islamic boarding schools. Each Pesantren has different standards. Likewise in every institution that exists in the pesantren itself, especially in our Pesantren. Students are expected not only to be able to read the yellow book. However, they are also expected to understand the yellow book they are reading. And can really understand the rules of syntax and morphemes. The ability to read the yellow book for class IV intensive MQ girls, especially for Maharoh Qiro'ah, is a key or central problem that must be taken seriously so that students are able to read the book well. As well as being required to study the science of tools related to the yellow book such as the nahwu-short rule. One of the causes of student difficulties is the difference in previous educational backgrounds. Especially, graduates who have never known tool science before. Therefore, educators here need a few ways to make delivery more concise and easy to understand and to be able to find out what the effect of this method is.

The Ittishaliyah or communicative method in learning language including Arabic is to make the students ability to communicate or interact with Arabic become a top priority compared to mastery of grammar. Because the main goal in the communicative approach is that students are able to communicate with Arabic in various social and functional situations. Some sources argue that communicative is an approach, there are also those who argue that it is a method. Therefore this research uses the literature study method where the data comes from various sources of literature that are relevant to this research. This study aims to explore the Ittishaliyah method. The points in this study include the history of the emergence of the Ittishaliyah method, the theories that used by this method, characteristics, and the practice in learning Arabic language. From analyzing the data, the researcher reveals some conclusion that the Ittishaliyah method came to achieve what the Sam’iyah Syafahiyah method failed to achieve in the field of language education. Ittishaliyah method is the method of teaching a second or foreign language that achieves communicative competence as the purpose of education and prioritizes students' creativity in speaking practice.

Language is the vessel of culture and is the primary means of expressing it in many fields. The Arabic language and its culture go hand in hand. It is difficult for a foreign student to understand the Arabic language accurately or to use it well without understanding the specific cultural concepts associated with it. The idea of teaching the cultural content of the language comes first, not for cultural purposes, but for linguistic purposes. Literature review is a research methodology used in this study. When creating teaching materials, researchers collect information from textual and electronic publications regarding sociocultural concepts. The result of the study aims to discusses culture and its characteristics, the relationship between language and culture, culture and learning Arabic for non-Arabs as well as cultural content in teaching Arabic as a foreign language, especially things that need to be considered in the cultural aspect when preparing Arabic language teaching books for foreign students. Therefore, paying attention to the cultural foundations when preparing books for teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers is important for achieving the goals of teaching the Arabic language. Every teacher must take into account the specific matters that must be taken into account when preparing books for teaching the Arabic language to foreigners so that it suits the learner’s linguistic and mental level.

This study aims to map the research landscape of Arabic language bilingualism through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis covering the period from 1986 to 2024. The increasing global prevalence of bilingualism, particularly among Arabic speakers in countries where Arabic is not the primary language, underscores the need for a systematic understanding of how research in this field has evolved. This study collected data from the Scopus database and applied bibliometric methods, including citation analysis, co-authorship network mapping, and journal quartile evaluation, using Microsoft Excel, Publish or Perish (PoP), and VOSviewer. The analysis revealed that the United States was the most influential contributor to research on Arabic bilingualism. The year 2018 recorded the highest number of publications, with a total of 16, while 2017 had the highest number of citations, reaching 348, indicating strong research impact. Current research themes emphasize the cognitive benefits of bilingualism, such as improved working memory and problem-solving abilities, and explore their implications in educational and social settings. These findings highlight the ongoing importance of fostering collaborative and interdisciplinary research and suggest that educational policies should incorporate insights from bilingualism studies to enhance language acquisition and development.
