Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' social literacy abilities in terms of social literacy indicators, namely understanding oneself, understanding and managing emotions, understanding social situations, and establishing relationships. This research is a descriptive research, by analyzing student test results. The research subjects consisted of 30 fourth grade students at SDN 1 Mangkujayan. The results of the study showed that the social literacy skills of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Mangkujayan regarding kingdoms in the archipelago were still in the very low category, namely getting a percentage of 51%. Special teaching materials are needed for students who can increase students' social sensitivity so that they can increase social literacy in students. Abstract

The learning innovation developed is combining learning modules with the use of mobile phones so that learning is interactive and meaningful. The preparation of the module uses the PBL stages with the content of socioscientific issues according to what happens in everyday life so that it is expected to train one of the 21st century skills is critical thinking skills and support digitization of education. This study aims to develop an interactive module containing problem based learning with socioscientific issues on the water cycle material and to determine the content and construct validity of the developed learning modules. The method used in development research was adapted from the RnD method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection technique was in the form of a validation questionnaire for material experts, linguists, and media experts. From the results of data validation and analysis, a percentage of 95.55% was obtained for content validation and a percentage of 97,52% for construct validation, both of which were classified as very valid. From these results it can be concluded that the interactive module containing Problem Based Learning with socioscientific issues in the water cycle material is feasible to use in terms of validity aspects

Abstract

Technological developments have many impacts on human life which are not much different from the need for welfare. In the field of education, technological developments have had a big impact. In line with the Merdeka curriculum which is oriented towards providing ideal student learning services to the demands of the times, it provides the reality that technological sophistication can serve to bring the future closer. So learning activities become a learning medium with 21st century skills including creative, collaborative, communicative and critical. Conventional methods, such as lectures and assignments in class, only have an impossible approach in the science and science subject, regional leader assignment material, which has an impact on student motivation and interest, which can decrease. So an interesting and interactive learning method is needed so that students are motivated and active in class activities. Based on this background, this research aims to analyze the initial needs for a role-playing learning model in supporting IPAS activities regarding regional leaders' assignments with the help of the story.com platform. The research method used is a qualitative method, a qualitative method based on descriptive regulations, analysis of learning needs from teachers and students' needs regarding learning models and the media required; Qualitative methods support the collection of information by interviewing sources. Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of the field trip method in helping 6th grade elementary school students understand the impact of globalization. The research approach is qualitative-descriptive. This research involved 25 students from SD Negeri Kaligangsa 3 Tegal City on field trips to various locations in Tegal city which showed the influence of globalization. Data was collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of student reflections. The field trip method has proven to be effective in bridging theory and practice, increasing student involvement, and developing critical observation skills. This research provides valuable insight into innovative strategies in social studies learning at the elementary school level and the importance of direct experience in understanding global-local phenomena. The concept of experiential learning that underlies the field trip method is discussed comprehensively by Dewi (2020), who emphasizes the importance of direct experience in students' knowledge construction. Prasetyo (2021) researched the effectiveness of field trips in increasing students' understanding of contemporary social issues, including globalization. In the context of globalization learning at the elementary school level, Suharto (2022) explains the importance of simplifying complex concepts into concrete examples that students can observe in everyday life. This research strengthens the opinion of using the field trip method in learning globalization.

Abstract

Revitalisasi kawasan kota lama Kota Semarang merupakan suatu langkah strategis yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Semarang. Hal ini dilakukan dalam rangka menyiapkan kawasan kota lama tersebut sebagai bagian dari world heritage sekaligus menghidupkan kembali bagian dari kawasan perkotaan Semarang tersebut yang selama ini sebagian sudutnya terlihat suram dan tidak termanfaatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penataan Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang dan kaitannya dengan perubahan aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat/stakeholders dan aspek sosial pada kawasan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan mix-method (kuantitatif dan kualitatif). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur, observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum masyarakat berpendapat bahwa penataan Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang memberikan pengaruh yang baik pada aspek ekonomi dan sosial pada kawasan tersebut. Perubahan dan penguatan citra kawasan melalui penyediaan fasilitas umum dan penataannya sebagai destinasi wisata perlu dipertahankan dengan upaya pengelolaan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Peningkatan kompetensi guru di era digital sangatlah penting karena dapat menciptakan sistem dan suasana belajar yang berkualitas sehingga dapat menghasilkan generasi muda yang cerdas dan berkompeten. Guru perlu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi yang semakin maju dan guru dapat mengembangkan kompetensinya dengan mengikuti pelatihan seperti seminar, bimbingan teknis, dan pelatihan online. Guru-guru pembimbing olimpiade sains bidang ilmu pengetahuan social (IPS) dituntut untuk selalu mengembangkan potensinya terkait dengan materi olimpiade sains IPS yang lebih sulit dari pembelajaran di kelas-kelas karena olimpiade ips menuntut siswa-siswi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lebih tinggi dan analisis di empat bidang materi yang ada dalam olimpiade ips yaitu sejarah, geografi, ekonomi, dan sosiologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru pembimbing olimpiade sains ips sehingga guru-guru terbiasa untuk menyiapkan soal-soal dengan analisis tingkat tinggi dan membuat materi pembelajaran dengan video animasi yang menarik bagi siswa dan sesuai dengan silabus olimpiade sains bidang IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian mix-method yaitu kombinasi metode RdanD dan metode kuantitatif. Metode RdanD digunakan dalam proses pembuatan video animasi materi pembelajaran olimpiade sedangkan metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk pembuatan soal HOTS di materi Olimpiade sains bidang IPS. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling atau sampel bertujuan, yakni guru-guru pembimbing olimpiade IPS di Kota Bontang Provinsi Kalimantan Timur yang berjumlah 30 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kompetensi guru-guru dalam pembuatan soal-soal HOTS dengan nilai reabilitas sangat baik di 0.81 dan pembuatan video animasi sebagai bahan pembelajaran terhadap siswa mendapatkan nilai validasi 3.66 untuk isi materi dan 3.62 untuk visualisasi tampilan.
