Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Hijab Trends, Product Reviews, and Product Ratings on Hijab Purchase Decisions by Shopee users in Pontianak City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 203 Shopee users in Pontianak City who had purchased hijab products. Primary data were collected through the distribution of online questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and were then analyzed using multiple linear regression after passing validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. The results of the analysis show that partially, Hijab Trends, Product Reviews, and Product Ratings have a positive and significant effect on Hijab Purchase Decisions. Simultaneously, Hijab Trends, Product Reviews, and Product Ratings also have a significant effect on Hijab Purchase Decisions. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.863 indicates a strong relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable, while the coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.744 indicates that 74.4% of the variation in Hijab Purchase Decisions can be explained by Hijab Trends, Product Reviews, and Product Ratings, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research model. The findings of this study indicate that Hijab Purchase Decisions by Shopee users in Pontianak City are influenced by the relationship between Hijab Trends, Product Reviews, and Product Ratings.

Abstract

The mobile gaming industry has experienced rapid growth and is dominated by freemium/free-to-play models, making understanding of monetization preferences and willingness to pay (WTP) increasingly relevant. The study maps player preferences toward monetization models (free-with-ads, freemium with in-app purchase/IAP, and premium no-ads) and analyzes psychological factors influencing purchase intention (PI) and WTP. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted with 210 active mobile game players (convenience and snowball sampling). WTP was measured in two stages: willingness to pay decision (WTP_bin) and maximum amount (WTP_Rp), with linear regression analysis for PI, logistic regression for WTP_bin, and linear regression on ln(WTP_Rp) for respondents willing to pay. Results show dominant preferences for free models: free-with-ads 54.3% and freemium IAP 30.5%, while premium no-ads 15.2%; payer proportion was 35.2%. Instruments demonstrated reliability (Cronbach's alpha 0.921–0.935). The PI model was significant (R²=0.640), where Perceived Value (PV) and Perceived Enjoyment (ENJ) had the strongest positive effects, followed by Quality, Fairness, and Social Norms, whereas Reference Price & Price Sensitivity (RPPS) and Perceived Aggressive Monetization (PAM) had significant negative effects. For WTP_bin, odds of becoming a payer increased with PV (OR=1.593) and decreased with RPPS (OR=0.468) and PAM (OR=0.651). Among payers (n=74), ln(WTP_Rp) increased with PV, ENJ, and Fairness, but was suppressed by PAM. Findings confirm the necessity of strengthening value, experience, and fairness while avoiding aggressive monetization to enhance conversion and payment amounts.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in Indonesia often struggle with a lack of creative teaching materials and low income. This community program aimed to tackle both problems at once through hands-on training in education and entrepreneurship. 30 PAUD teachers from HIMPAUDI Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang, Kubu Raya Regency, joined the program on November 1, 2025. Two main sessions were held: one focused on making Educational Play Tools (EPT) from recycled materials, and another on basic entrepreneurship and digital marketing. Teachers were introduced to the "edupreneur" concept, the idea that educators can create meaningful teaching tools while also building financial independence. During the workshop, participants produced six original EPT products, assessed on creativity, educational value, quality, and marketability, which were then donated to the host school. Feedback from partners across all evaluation areas was rated "Very Good." These results show that combining entrepreneurship training with early childhood education is an effective way to both professionalize teachers and improve their economic wellbeing.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of sustainable practices and digital technologies has reshaped consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z coffee shop customers. This study examines the effects of green experience and digital engagement on Generation Z consumer loyalty through the mediating roles of perceived value and brand attachment. A quantitative survey was conducted among 300 Generation Z coffee shop customers in Pontianak, Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that green experience significantly enhances perceived value (β = 0.728, p < 0.001), while digital engagement positively influences brand attachment (β = 0.799, p < 0.001). Perceived value emerged as the strongest predictor of consumer loyalty (β = 1.491, p < 0.001), followed by brand attachment (β = 0.089, p < 0.001). Furthermore, perceived value and brand attachment significantly mediate the relationships between green experience, digital engagement, and consumer loyalty. These findings demonstrate that Generation Z consumer loyalty is primarily developed through cognitive evaluations and emotional attachment. The study provides theoretical insights into sustainable consumer behavior and offers practical guidance for coffee shop managers in developing sustainability-oriented and digitally engaging strategies to strengthen long-term consumer loyalty.
