Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of smart technology implementation in the hospitality industry, focusing on issues of privacy and data security, economic and social impact of engagement. of human resources and the importance of transparency and accountability in smart technology design. The research methods used are inductive and qualitative methods with in-depth interpretation. Data is drawn from a variety of scholarly sources and up-to-date information from platforms such as SINTA, Science Direct, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science. Research results show that the application of smart technology in the hotel industry has a significant impact on many aspects. The first finding highlights the need to prioritize data security and privacy issues. The implications of replacing workers with smart technology have an impact on the local economy and employment structure. Furthermore, this study highlights the need for transparency and accountability in the design of smart technologies, so that customers have clear information and control over their personal data. This finding is consistent with previous research that has identified the risks and social impacts of smart technology adoption in the hospitality industry. Therefore, businesses in the hospitality industry need to develop policies and strategic measures to address negative impacts and ensure the ethical and responsible adoption of smart technology. This study provides insight into the impact of smart technology implementation in the hospitality industry and provides a basis for developing sustainable and ethical strategies for smart technology adoption in hospitality.

Abstract

This community engagement aims to develop human resources (HR) based on smart user principles in utilizing social media and E-wallets in the digital era, specifically for parent guardians in Desa Durian. The digital era demands individuals to become smarter and more adaptive in using technology, including social media and E-wallets. Social media is an effective tool for communication and information, while E-wallets facilitate financial transactions efficiently and reduce dependency on cash. Increasing digital literacy is expected to enhance the abilities and understanding of parents and guardians in leveraging technology optimally and securely. The methods of this community engagement include training sessions and direct mentoring designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of social media and E-wallet usage, covering technical, practical, ethical, and security aspects of digital technology. The outcomes of this engagement demonstrate that with appropriate training, parent guardians in Desa Durian can effectively use social media for communication and information-sharing, and utilize E-wallets for financial transactions more efficiently, thereby enhancing their daily life efficiency and effectiveness. In conclusion, developing HR based on smart user principles is crucial in facing the challenges of the digital era. Improved digital literacy enables parent guardians to better adapt to changes, harness technological opportunities, and positively impact the local community. From the evaluation results of the community engagement, it was found that 82% of participants were able to understand the training materials delivered by several speakers.

Abstract

The economic empowerment program for the PKK Group in Durian Village aims to enhance members' capacity in financial management and investment through digitalization. This program equips PKK members with skills to effectively manage household finances, understand the importance of income diversification, and manage financial risks. Members are trained to use digital technology to record finances, create budgets, and independently analyze their financial situations. Through training and mentoring, members learn to use digital financial applications to help track expenses and income. Additionally, the program develops entrepreneurial and time-management skills, enabling PKK members to run small businesses independently and increase productivity. Results show a significant improvement in understanding; the average pretest score was 50, which increased to 83.25 on the posttest. Other success indicators include increased household income, the opening of brokerage accounts as an initial investment step, improved access to financial services, and enhanced economic welfare and household independence. This program is expected to be an initial step toward greater economic independence for families and inclusive local economic development in Durian Village. With digital technology adoption in financial management, Durian Village is anticipated to serve as a model of technology-based economic empowerment in rural areas.

Abstract

The entrepreneurship mentoring program for Dapur Alifa effectively integrates theory and practice, significantly enhancing various business aspects. Beginning with a SWOT analysis, the program identified key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, forming the foundation for tailored strategies. Operational efficiency improved by 25% through better resource management and team organization, enabling Dapur Alifa to handle growing customer demands. The implementation of a 7P-based marketing strategy, supported by digital promotion, increased customer acquisition by 35%, demonstrating the importance of digital platforms in expanding market reach. Ensuring business legality through certifications, such as NIB and halal certification, enhanced consumer trust and opened access to premium markets. Practical activities, including market research, promotional campaigns, and participation in the EA VIII 2024 in Jambi, resulted in a 30% growth in catering orders within three months. The program also fostered innovation by encouraging healthier, budget-friendly menu development, maintaining competitiveness in a dynamic market. This mentoring initiative highlights the critical role of guidance in equipping students with entrepreneurial skills, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable growth for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Dapur Alifa serves as a model for similar enterprises, contributing to community empowerment and aligning with broader economic development goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect between job involvement, perceived organizational support on job satisfaction. With 45 respondents, using a quantitative approach. The analysis used to examine the data includes instrument test, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, simultaneous F test, and partial t test. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient (R) obtained is 0.626 which indicates that between job involvement, perceived organizational support and job satisfaction have a strong relationship. Simultaneous F test shows that job involvement and perceived organizational support simultaneously have a significant influence on job satisfaction.Partial t test shows that the perceived organizational support variable partially affects job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between self-efficacy, work stress, and work motivation among civil servant teachers at SD Negeri 16 Delta Pawan, Ketapang District. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in their ability to achieve specific results in certain situations. Work stress is the physical and emotional response to pressures from job demands that surpass an individual's capabilities. Work motivation is the force that drives individuals to accomplish their goals at work. The research employs an associative approach with a quantitative method. The data analysis reveals a connection between self-efficacy, work stress, and work motivation among civil servant teachers. Work stress has a more significant impact on work motivation than self-efficacy. However, when considered together, both factors play a vital role in influencing work motivation. These findings offer valuable insights into the factors that affect teachers' work motivation, emphasizing the need to develop strategies and policies that promote teachers' motivation and well-being at SD Negeri 16 Delta Pawan. Furthermore, this research contributes to the field of human resource management, providing a reference for researchers and practitioners to enhance the effectiveness of human resource management in educational institutions.

Abstract

Background: The rapid changes in people's consumption behavior resulting from technological and information advancements require business actors to have a high level of digital literacy to increase sales performance. Purpose: This study aims to measure the level of digital literacy among micro and small-scale businesses particularly in the vibrant region of Pontianak City. Design/Methodology/Approach: Primary data are taken from non-formal MSEs category of business as they make up the largest share of business ownership category in the region. This study employs descriptive qualitative research through grand mean methodology which is accurate to analyze the distinct characteristic across multiple groups of samples, as well as to facilitate interpretation of unchanging effects by controlling of inclusive variability.Conclusion: This study finds that the level of digital literacy among MSEs in Pontianak City is categorized into upper-middle group with average total score of 3.64 where micro-scale enterprises are found to have lower level of literacy as compared to small enterprises. It is also found that imbalance of digital literacy within variables used in this study. Internet searching variable (X1) and hypertextual navigation (X2) and knowledge assembly (X4) variable are found to be in the category of upper-middle group, while content evaluation variable (X3) is found to be lower at medium group.Originality/value (state of the art): This study provides a nascent overview of digital literacy level in Pontianak City, highlighting significant differences between micro and small enterprises. These findings serve as a critical reference for policymakers in designing localized strategies to improve digital literacy and foster economic growth. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Organizational Culture and Career Development on Employee Motivation at the Civil Service Police Unit of West Kalimantan Province. This study uses a quantitative strategy with an associative research design as methodology. In 2024, as many as 106 people permanent employees of the West Kalimantan Province Civil Service Police Unit were interviewed and data collection was carried out using a qustionnaire method with a saturated sample approach. The criteria studied were X1, namely Organizational Culture, X2 and Y, namely Employee Motivation. Data analysis used was validity and realibility tests, classical assumption tests such as linearity and normality, correlation and determination coefficients, F tests for simultaneous and partial effects, and multiple linier regression. Simultaneous analysis (F test) showed that Motivation (Y) was positively and significantly influenced by Organizational Culture (X1) and Career Development (X2). A favorable and statistically significant relationship between Organizational Culture (X1) and Career Development (X2) and Motivation (Y) was found in the partial test (T test).
