Abstract

Tourism is a very reliable sector in this globalization era. Indonesia is one country that relies heavily on the tourism sector. Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia. Over time, Bali tourism continues to grow even better. This development can be seen from the development that has been carried out in Bali, such as infrastructure development. One of the infrastructures that has been created is Jalan Toi Bali Mandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai, located in Badung Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the construction of the Bali Mandara Toll Road on tourist activities in the Kampoeng Kepan Ecotourism attraction in Tuban Bali. The type of data in this study uses qualitative data. And data sources in this study are primary data sources and qualitative data sources. Data collection in this study uses observation techniques, interviews and documentation For the determination of informants through puposive sampling Data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques The results in this study are the impacts caused in the construction of the Bali Mandara toll road on tourist activities that have an impact very good, a lot of new innovations that can be used as tourist activities, then after the construction is finished tourism activities can run well and normal, the construction of toll roads is very supportive to attract tourists in tourism activities The construction of the Bali Mandara Toll Road has a good impact on tourism activities in Kampoeng Crab Ecotouris. Abstract

The presence of online transportation services in Ubud Village is considered a threat to the existence of conventional transportation services. Far-reaching price differences trigger conflict. This study aims to analyze the existence of conventional transportation services in the Ubud Village in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses qualitative and quantitative data with primary and secondary data sources. Data obtained through the study of literature, observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The techniques for determining informants and determining the samples used are purposive sampling and incidental sampling. This research uses descriptive-qualitative analysis techniques and the Importance of Performance Analysis. The results showed that conventional transportation services still existed in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 due to an organization formed under the auspices of the Desa Adat which prohibits the operation of online transportation services. This research is expected to be a reference for the Bali Government and the Regency of Gianyar Government in compiling a policy regulation governing tourism transportation services in the Ubud Village. Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the role and function of ecotourism in balancing tourism. Located on the outskirts of the city, village Kertalangu felt threatened by various developments over the land. In maintaining wetland village then made a cultural attraction called Desa Budaya Kertalangu. This study attempts to discuss the role of cultural tourism attractions in ecotourism, which is based on cultural preservation, community development and local economic development. In general, the implementation of the research uses the principles of ecotourism are associated with the current conditions that exist in the village Kertalangu. The processed data is sourced from primary and secondary data through: interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data is described and analyzed based on the concept of ecotourism is descriptive qualitative. Based on this research, the role of the community in the management of the attraction of Tourism on increasing the level of the economy is still less than optimal. The existence of several barriers such as the farmers in the world of character education and the obligation Balinese Hindus in worship. But the one hand, this village is able to preserve the natural environment. The village and investors managed to create sustainability of the rice fields of urban planning threat.

Abstract

Gundaling Hill is a tourist attraction located in the city of Berastagi Karo. The Hill is known as natural tourist attraction since the Dutch colonial era, and has a unique history that makes it more attractive for tourist who visit it. However, Gundaling Hill is no longer attractive for tourist. It is because there is no development on it, and there are some new tourist attractions are established which have replaced the position of Gundaling Hill as a famous tourist attraction in Karo. The research purposes are; to determine the potential of the tourist attraction Gundaling Hill and to determine what needs to be done for the development of Gundaling Hill. This study uses qualitative research methods and the concept of tourism potential and tourism development. Over time Gundaling Hill no longer as beautiful and as well-known as earlier, it is because there is no development is done to the charms of this site, so that tourist no longer feel that Gundaling Hill is a wonderful tourist attraction. The reason are the lack of tourist attractions that are offered, poorly managed, the lack of parking spaces, and the lack of development. It is clear that the role of stakeholders is needed, both from the local community, government and the private sector in oder to develop an attractive tourist attraction in Gundaling Hill. Abstract

In this research aims to the pattern of tourists’ visit on tourists attraction in the area of Sarbagita. This reseach was carried out to find out the movement of tourists in visiting one to other tourist destinations which existed in the area of Sarbagita. This research was through several stages, namely: identification of characteristic of tourists who were visiting Sarbagita area and how about the pattern type of their visit. Next it was studying how the path of tourists’ movement who were visiting tourist attractions existed in Sarbagita area. Data collection technique was using observation, interview, distribution of 100 questionnaires, literature study and documentation. Informant determination technique was using accidental sampling. The result of research showed that tourists who were visiting various tourist destinations existed in Sarbagita area with the highest number of visits was in tourist attraction of Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, Kuta Beach, Sanur Beach, Bedugul, Ceking Rice Terrace and Pandawa Beach. The pattern of tourists’ visit who were visiting Sarbagita area had 4 types of visits, namely the first wasm “Single Destination With or Without side Trips” , the second was “Transit Leg and Circle Tour at a Destination” , the third was “Circle Tour With or Without Multiple Access , Egress Points ; Different Itinerary Styles Possible at Different Destination Areas”, and the fourth was “Hub and Spoke Style”. Abstract

ABSTRACT Payang Hill is a Hilly area that has been the potential of tourism in the Batur Tengah Village. Payang Hill already begin tourists visited in 2010, with the number of tourists still slightly. Potency resources of the still quite natural, so it become a tourist atrraction. The research is oriented at kronowlge the use and potency of the Payang Hill as a natural tourist atrracton in district of Kintamani, Expected to be able provide and answer the problem formulation, what the potency of the regional as Payang Hill natural atrractions and how the utilization of the regional as  Payang Hill natural atrractions. This study uses primary and secondary data sources, whereas the type of data used is also quantitative, and qualitative data. Collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, and library research. Descriptive analysis of qualitative. The result of the research : 1) Payang Hill can be developed into a tourist attraction, because it has the potencies such as natural, cultural, and education. 2) Payang Hill already to implimentation to use the potency with how to package and create a means of support for tourism activities for tourist.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is about the development of Ijen Crater area as a tourism destination in Banyuwangi Regency. Ijen Crater is an active volcano, so it is always in the monitoring of volcanology center. When Ijen Crater conditions are not allowed to be visited, then the volcanology center immediately inform the natural resources conservation center in order to make a warning to tourists not to do climbing activity. Travelers who had already come disappointed with the prohibition. By the uncertain situation, there are need a strategy to make alternative activities.  The new tourist activities carried out in the Ijen Crater area, so that tourists can still enjoy the travel without climbing Ijen Mountain. The whole existing condition of the potential in the ijen crater and surroundings area, it is important to analyze using indicators of special interest tourism concept. There are several potential was found, grouped into three categories that is, natural potential, artificial potential and cultural potential. The results of this analysis are used to determining some special interest tourism activities that appropriated and could be done in the Kawah Ijen as a tourism destination. Furthermore, indication of the programs and stages of development neeed to be designed using the three main steps that must be done, that is: short-term, medium-term and long-term development. Implementation of development carried out in accordance with the specified time. The development stages are expected could be monitoring the development of Ijen Crater area and also can make Ijen Crater area as a quality tourism destination.

Abstract

The privatization of the current coastal border began to bloom in many areas of Bali. No exception in Sanur Beach, Denpasar. In this study the privatization of coastal border is done by the accommodation provider of Santrian Resorts and Villas, which houses two hotels, including Puri Santrian A Beach Resort and Spa and Griya Santrian A Beach Resort. The purpose of this research is to know the form of privatization conducted by Santrian Resorts and Villas at Sanur Beach. As well as knowing the Denpasar city government policy on the privatization of beach border in Sanur Beach. The research methodology used in this research is qualitative research. The method are use in-depth interview technique and observation. Santrian Resorts and Villas is right to practice the privatization of coastal border. Therefore, many activities of tourists, tourists and informal business actors in the field of tourism becomes disrupted. Although there is already a policy on coastal border made by the Denpasar City Government, the policy is considered not yet firm in following up the violation. Abstract

Tamansari Water Castle is a sub-tourist attraction located in the Keraton Yogyakarta complex, this tourist attraction is famous for its heritage buildings and also for its water palace. Since it was opened to tourists on April 1, 1974 many tourists visited this tourist attraction, both domestic and foreign tourists. Since the opening of this tourist attraction for the first time, which has not yet drawn retribution rates to tourists, there have been several times the rate of retribution increases to enter this tourist attraction. So there needs to be research on the feasibility of increasing the levy rate. In this regard, the author tries to examine the "Studi Kelayakan Peningkatan Tarif Retribusi di Daya Tarik Wisata Tamansari Water Castle". The research method used in this study is quantitative research with comparative matrix analysis techniques, to analyze the feasibility of increasing levy rates in the tourist attraction of Tamansari Water Castle. Sources of data from primary and secondary data, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and literature studies, and interview instruments in the form of interview guidelines. Determination of informants at Tamansari Water Castle in this study using purposive sampling technique, so as to obtain accurate data about the feasibility of increasing levy rates in the tourist attraction of Tamansari Water Castle.
