Abstract

Pendidikan nonformal masih awan diketahui oleh masyarakat. Mengenalkan pendidikan nonformal menjadi tantangan dalam situasi global sekarang ini. Salah satu pendidikan nonformal yang ada di Kabupaten Tegal adalah organisasi Difabel Slawi Mandiri yang memberikan keterampilan kepada difabel. Bekal keterampilan tersebut salah satunya yaitu keterampilan menjahit. Pelatihan keterampilan menjahit pada difabel akan sangat bermanfaat jika ditekuni dengan baik. Keterampilan menjahit dapat dilihat sebagai tolok ukur kinerja difabel. Maka perlu adanya kesiapan kinerja difabel akan memberikan manfaat bagi dirinya. Indikator kinerja yang ada pada diri difabel meliputi (1) task behaviors, (2) task performance, (3) productivity dan (4) quality. Sampel responden ada tiga difabel yang memiliki kasus yang khas pada kinerja dalam bekerja. Konseling diperlukan untuk dapat membantu difabel dalam menentukan tujuan diri. Proses konseling yang dilakukan untuk memandirikan konseli, penguatan dalam kinerja dan dasar untuk memulai pekerjaan yang dibidangi. Kerjasama yang baik antara konselor dengan konseli sangat diperlukan dalam rangka membantu diri konseli. Konselor memberikan apresiasi terhadap kemandirian akan semua hal yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja khususnya dalam rintisan usaha di Kabupaten Tegal. Hal yang tidak mudah, namun sangat perlu dilakukan sebagai karir pekerjaan difabel di masyarakat.Kata Kunci: pendidikan non-formal, difabel, keterampilan kerja

Abstract

Optimizing the potential of social capital in the context of disability is a crucial aspect in realizing quality inclusive education and requires active collaboration between various related parties in creating a learning environment for disabilities. Social capital is defined as a network of social relationships, norms and values ​​that facilitate cooperation between individuals and groups. This activity aims to explore how stakeholder collaboration can be improved through optimizing the potential of social capital to support quality inclusive education for individuals with disabilities. The methods used are material selection, introduction and training objectives, supporting skills development sessions, case studies and group discussions, evaluation and feedback. The results show that effective stakeholder collaboration in supporting inclusive education requires a deep understanding of the potential and barriers faced by individuals with disabilities. The potential for social capital, such as: trust, interdependence, and a strong network of relationships between stakeholders is key in building an inclusive educational environment. Strategies to optimize the potential of social capital include: training and capacitation of stakeholders about the importance of inclusion and social capital, establishing joint discussion forums between stakeholders, and implementing policies that support inclusive education. The active role and commitment of social capital from all parties involved is very necessary to create an inclusive, fair and quality educational environment for all individuals.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between self-acceptance factors and interpersonal skills in individuals with visual impairments in the context of daily life. The following is a summary of the findings and key findings. Self-Acceptance as a Key Foundation: Self-acceptance has been shown to be an important foundation in the development of interpersonal skills of individuals with visual impairments. Individuals who have high self-acceptance tend to have healthier and stronger interpersonal relationships. Influence of Internal and External Factors: Internal factors such as self-image, self-perception, and level of self-confidence play an important role in the self-acceptance of people with visual impairments. In addition, social support, inclusion in society, and accessibility also influence the level of self-acceptance. Better Interpersonal Skills: Individuals with visual impairments who have strong self-acceptance tend to have better interpersonal skills. They are better able to communicate clearly, understand others' feelings, and build healthy relationships. Implications for Quality of Life Improvement: The results of this study have important implications for improving the quality of life of individuals with visual impairments. Enhancing their self-acceptance through social support, empowerment, and accessibility can help in improving their interpersonal skills and creating a more fulfilling life.

Abstract

A person's readiness to engage in peer counseling is strongly influenced by mental health and well-being. Peer counseling conducted by people with disabilities will greatly affect the self-esteem of people with disabilities in the community. This research method uses quantitative with 40 respondents who filled out a mental health and well-being questionnaire. The selection of respondents used non-probability sampling techniques. The result of this study is an index analysis consisting of the respondent's mental health index value of 79.25 categorized as Good and the index value of the well-being indicator of 71.93 categorized as Good. The researcher concluded that peer counseling needs to be prepared for mental health and well-being. Mental health consists of 4 indicators including depression or anxiety, dementia, mental (psychiatric) or behavioral disorders, and sleep problems. On well-being consists of 24 indicators including assessing the quality of life, assessing overall health, ability to do activities, satisfied with oneself, satisfied with a relationship, living conditions, having enough energy, having enough money to meet needs, perceived loneliness, feeling a lack of friendship, feeling abandoned, feeling isolated from others, yesterday feeling happy, yesterday feeling enthusiastic, yesterday feeling satisfied, yesterday feeling angry, yesterday feeling frustrated, yesterday feeling tired, yesterday feeling sad, yesterday feeling stressed, yesterday feeling lonely, yesterday feeling happy, yesterday feeling enthusiastic, yesterday feeling satisfied, yesterday feeling angry, yesterday feeling frustrated.
