Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision-making system in determining effective online learning media for students of SMP Al Qolam Kotaagung using the Weight Product (WP) method. In today's digital era, choosing the right learning media is very important to improve the quality of online learning, especially at the junior high school level. The Weight Product method was chosen because of its ability to optimize the assessment of various media alternatives based on predetermined criteria, such as ease of access, interactivity, availability of materials, and suitability to the curriculum. This study uses a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques that involve giving weights to each relevant criterion. SMP Al Qolam Kotaagung is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Tanggamus Regency Education Office. The online school application is an important application for all students during this pandemic. Many students use the WhatsApp, Classroom, Zoom, Edmodo, Google Meet applications. In other cases, many students use these applications. Therefore, this analysis determines which media is effective, in analyzing the application using the Weighted Product method. The results of the study are expected to provide recommendations for appropriate and effective learning media, so that they can increase the effectiveness of the online learning process at SMP Al Qolam Kotaagung. In addition, this system can be a reference for other schools in choosing the right online learning media according to the needs and characteristics of students.

Abstract

Penelitian studi literatur sistematis ini menganalisis model kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran di Finlandia dan Korea Selatan untuk merumuskan implikasi kebijakan bagi penguatan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di tingkat pendidikan dasar Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif tinjauan literatur, data dikumpulkan dari jurnal ilmiah dan dokumen kebijakan dalam rentang waktu 2019-2024. Hasil komparasi menunjukkan adanya dualisme filosofis: Finlandia memprioritaskan kesejahteraan (well-being) siswa, kesetaraan, dan otonomi guru dengan mengurangi beban belajar , sementara Korea Selatan fokus pada kompetensi spesifik dan kesiapan kerja (job readiness) sebagai respons pragmatis terhadap tuntutan ekonomi. Meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia dinilai efektif untuk memperkuat keterampilan abad ke-21, tantangan struktural utamanya adalah kesenjangan kualitas dan pemerataan kompetensi guru serta disparitas regional. Implikasi kebijakan yang disarankan adalah : (1) Peningkatan kualitas dan otonomi guru secara komprehensif sebagai strategi utama. (2) Kurikulum Merdeka perlu menyeimbangkan fokus holistik (well-being) Finlandia dengan adopsi sistematis pada kesiapan kerja Korea Selatan. (3) Mengkonkretkan literasi digital melalui praktik seperti integrasi Computational Thinking (CT) yang diadopsi dari model Finlandia. Rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi kesenjangan dan memperkuat Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The development of information technology in education encourages schools to improve the quality of academic services through effective and accessible digital systems. MTs Mathlaul Anwar Talangpadang Tanggamus still faces challenges in managing academic services manually, including grade processing, attendance management, class scheduling, and payment information, resulting in delays and ineffective services for students and parents. This study aims to design and implement a mobile web-based Academic Service Information System to improve the efficiency and quality of academic services. The research applied the Waterfall method consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature studies. System testing using the Blackbox Testing method on seven main menus showed that all features functioned properly without errors. Quantitative analysis involved 58 respondents consisting of 26 eighth-grade students and 32 ninth-grade students, resulting in an average system success rate of 93.7%. The results indicate that the developed system successfully simplifies academic management, accelerates information access, and enables parents to monitor students’ academic progress in real-time through mobile devices.
